    Shrimp toast from China king

Don't order shrimp toast if you don't like it burnt. When I called, the lady said that's what it's suppose to look like.

Soo so yummy! great vegetarian options great food great service very friendly! General tsos tofu is my fave and my bf gets the boneless spare ribs or chicken lo mein! Love this place

is this supposed to be chicken? what the actual hell

2 bites into my meal and the meat is probably the most disgusting i have even tasted. such low quality is honestly disrespectful. don't waste your time

    Hot and sour soup

It's okay... I ordered the chicken and broccoli, hot and sour soup and a shrimp roll. Honestly the best thing from this meal was the soup because it brought the spice and flavor that I love. The chicken and broccoli was mediocre because I have definitely had better. I had to douse it with soy sauce in order for it to taste good. The shrimp roll literally had one shrimp in it. For all that, I might as well have just ordered a regular egg roll! But anyway, it was still decent. I probably wouldn't order from here again though.

There is something about seeing Caucasian workers (two upon entry) at an Asian eatery that just seems SO wrong, and to me personally a clear sign that this wouldn't be that great of a Chinese food experience. But due to lack of options and time, this had to fit the bill, and definitely wasn't a bad experience. The workers were friendly, the eatery was clean, and the lunch portion size was definitely shareable. The eatery itself seems to do mainly take out, but there was an eating area that was roomy enough for a number of customers. There was a good lunch selection, and each lunch option came with pork fried rice and an option to add a can of soda or an egg roll to your lunch meal for 50 cents. Lunch prices began at 5.89 if no soda or egg roll was added, and was definitely a fair deal in my book. I had dropped by with my two daughters and niece for a quick bite to eat, and the nearby options were limited. Couple that with the fact that the wings place next door had no "eat in" area, and is a "to go" only eatery lead to our first eating out adventure at "China King". Overall, it wasn't bad Chinese food, had shareable lunch options, and we were able to get in and out pretty quickly...which was exactly what we needed at that moment in time! Our expectations weren't that high, so that helped as well!

Egg drop soup was cold and tasted burned. Received the wrong item when the correct item was on the receipt.

The first couple of times, their delivery time was way off (it has improved!!), but their food was ALWAYS good. I've picked up from there a few times. Food was ALWAYS good. I've not had a sit down meal inside, but I feel pretty certain the food would still be good. I have had the pork eggroll, chicken teriyaki, steamed and pan fried dumplings with extra dipping sauce, fried wontons with meat filling, Mongolian beef, chicken chow mein, Szechuan beef, fried rice with roast pork, General Tso's chicken, hot and sour soup with extra tofu, broccoli with garlic sauce, hot and spicy bean curd, veggie lo mein and beef lo mein. I typically order online. If I have any questions, they've always been nice when I called. Always nice for pick up and their delivery person was always nice, too. (Just my own personal experience and opinion)...

As for the food -- I concur with another customer's egg roll comment about no taste/flavor. As for menu items flagged as spicy -- they weren't. They tasted good but were mild. If you like mild soups and entrees, you'll be happy but you'll likely be disappointed if you want spicy food.

We ordered the Thai Potstickers, the Singapore Rice Noodles with Chicken, and the Sakura Soba Noodles with Steak (both at spice level 2), and everything was exceptional. The Thai Potstickers were perfectly crisp with a savory filling that tasted homemade. The Singapore Rice Noodles were light, aromatic, and full of authentic flavor without being greasy. The Sakura Soba Noodles with Steak were just as impressive -- tender steak, balanced seasoning, and a sauce that tasted like something you'd get at a true mom‑and‑pop Asian kitchen. Spice level 2 had the perfect kick. You can tell this place is run with pride -- fresh ingredients, generous portions, and consistently delicious food. If you're looking for authentic Asian cuisine in Greenville, this family‑owned restaurant should be at the top of your list. Easily one of the best in town.

We stopped in right at opening on a Saturday and the lady who greeted us, I'm assuming the owner, couldn't have been nicer. She was waiting on us and in the kitchen cooking. We ordered spring rolls, bi bim bap with beef and Thai basil with chicken and all were incredibly delicious. The Thai basil chicken is something my wife orders regularly and the depth of flavors in this dish made it one of the best I've ever tried. It was my first time ordering bi bim bap and also thought the flavors were incredible. The portions were huge but I almost managed to finish it because it was so good. We will definitely be back to try other options as good Chinese food is severely lacking in this area.
