Great Ramen, a recommend any of their spicy Ramen also, they got white sauce which makes a great combination with any of the grilled options. They also got good sushi I don't know if they make the sushi there or they already ordered like that but if they don't make it it's a loss for them because if they make actual sushi, it will be a greater service that provides better intentions to satisfy their clients read more

The food was not what I expected. The only thing that was good was the Hibachi steak, chicken and shrimp with noodles. The egg rolls were the size of spring rolls for the price they were charging per. The chicken was dry with sauce thrown on it. I don't know what kind of sushi this was but not what I ordered. It was supposed to be Philly rolls but the pics in the menu were totally different. They look like they were just thrown together with no care as you can see that they're different sizes. Just driving through for a quick meal but couldn't take back because we're already miles down the road. Take your chance if you like but make sure you check your food before leaving. How do you mess up on sushi? Shop looks more like there still on COVID protocol because it doesn't look like you'd want to sit in there. Live and learn. WORST HIBACHI EVER!! Way overpriced because of the fancy hotels situated nearby. I ordered the shrimp and steak...the shrimp was chewy and the steak looked like it came out of a pack of steak umms. SERIOUSLY! The "white sauce" is definitely not "Yum yum sauce," more like some watered-down mayonnaise concoction. This restaurant is across the street from my hotel. After a long day traveling I decided to walk across the street and try them out. There was no one eating in the restaurant so I was hesitant first but, was glad I did. I ordered the hatachi shrimp and it was plenty of food, tasty and very good. While there many folks came in and ordered takeout. They do a very good business with takeout. All kinds of Japanese food choices. You just go in and order from the register then they prepare your food and bring it to the table. Prices are very reasonable and restaurant is clean. I ordered the shrimp and steak after a long day of working not feeling like cooking. I said to myself, I'm going to get Hibachi tonight so I can at least have a we'll balanced meal. Well, I've ordered from them before and the food was AMAZING. I knew that I was as going to eat well after the WEEK that I've endured. No!! Everything On this plate was tasteless. No salt, no pepper, no flavor. I was truly disappointed after having such a wonderful meal before. There is no consistency in this particular restaurant. In my opinion, the cook or chef that prepared this dish just didn't give a damn about anything. He or she just wanted to go home and it didn't matter if the food was good or not. The white sauce sucked, the food was tasteless and the only thing that was good was the white rice. At least it was cooked well. Granted, I did order late at night, around 8:45 or so, but the restaurant didn't close until after 9pm so I thought I was safe. Hmph!!! I can't say that I won't order from them again because the food in the daytime is delicious and pretty much addictive, but just don't order late in the evening because after the shift change, everything changes. Hibachi Japan is not the same restaurant as AKAI Japan. Hibachi Japan is fast food, mostly takeout, and it's all grill-based. There is no sushi at Hibachi Japan. That said, Hibachi Japan has excellent food, and cheap. The Hibachi Chicken Bowl is under 6 bucks with tax and it will fill up the biggest of guys (as I can attest to). The sauces are fantastic, with my fave being the spicy mustard. The family that runs it are sweet (even though momma is no-nonsense, in a true Asian momma way). I really hope they make it work. Folks down here don't seem to want to break from the barbecue and burgers long enough to try something different. {sigh} read more

My husband and I are cycling down the East coast and stayed at the hotel next door. We ate dinner here. It was clean, service was excellent and the people working were very friendly. Like the Orange Rolls there, sushi is all cooked kind and fresh. While my favorite sushi restaurant is in Greenville, it saves an hour round trip to go to Greenville when you have it here in Washington. I think this nice couple runs a super clean, neat restaurant and I think their prices are fair based on the cost of ingredients, overhead, and they have to try to make a living too. I wish they'd add more soy sauce and chopped onions or something to their fried rice for flavor. If they put a bit more sweetness in their white sauce, they'd tube into the eastern nc expectation if white sauce. There is potential here, but flavors are a bit bland with hibachi. My first time eating here, as I am visiting the area on business. I dined in and ordered the beef, chicken and shrimp combo. The food arrived amazingly fast. It was fresh and hot. The sauces and drinks are available via self-service with refills; I had one container of the ginger sauce and one of the while sauce; both were excellent. I ate everything on the plate and left satisfied. The quality may not the best I've ever had, but it was decent, and comparable to what is served in mall food courts, with a more limited menu. This is a new restaurant in the Washington NC area. I was excited to see a new Asian restaurant coming to the area as they do not come to this area often. First I read the price menu and was not thrilled with the price of the food. It was pricy. I ordered the Hibachi chicken and shrimp. As I waited I noticed that there was a window where you can watch the chef prepare the food. My meal was $8.59, and I noticed the small portions of shrimp and chicken that were being prepared for my dish. For the price, it was not a generous amount of meat and fish. I also got 4 containers of the white sauce. There was a limit of 4 containers that were offered for free with the meal. I arrived at home hungry and began eating my meal. I immediately noticed that the food did not have any authentic Asian taste. It tasted like something I could have prepared myself at home. Disappointed I am sure that I will not go back. I also asked a few friends if they had been and 2 of them saId yes and they did not enjoy the food either. Sad because I was really looking for a nice Japanese authentic flavor. read more
