Staff was very friendly and the food was very good. We live over an hour away and wanted to visit family who recommended this place. We are so glad we ate there. There was a very long line to get in after we were seated and I understand why because the food was very good and staff very caring and friendly. It was clean and no one in our party got sick. There were 6 of us. My husband and I do not normally do buffets but if we want to take over an hour drive and head north to get some good food we will go here. Brand new so of course it's clean. Very good selection of foods on the buffet. Been to this new location twice and wasn't disappointed at all. Only real competitor is Ocean Seafood on highway 200. I think China Lee has a slight edge. read more

The best part of the experience is that when you walk in the dining area is well lite and kept very clean. Food is very good. Building is beautiful. I have a couple complaints: 1. The entrance and exit door needs to be divided with a railing. Since incoming people are rude and block the exit. I had an issue with a lady and her teenage daughters blocking the exit and they refused to move. 2. Second, the lines coming in need to be routed along the rear side of the front, stopping the door from being blocked by people coming in. I know in the future the lines may not be as long. Let me start this off with I'm an entertainment truck driver who's eaten at a lot of Asian Buffets, throughout the country. This is without a doubt the best I've ever had! If I could give them 10 stars I would! Food was fresh, with a lot of flavor. The sushi was outstanding with more choices than I've seen at an Asian buffet, with sashimi. We found this buffet during COVID times when the chinese buffets in Gainesville were shut down. I know, I know - but this place keeps it clean. You get gloves to use when choosing your food, tables were social distanced, plus the food was always hot (or cold - for sushi) and so delicious. Service is always great and very friendly. It's worth the drive. Don't judge this place by the location. We prefer this (much more so) to Ocean Buffet. read more

Full disclosure, I am very leery about buffets. The line was out the door early Wednesday evening. They move this line quickly to view the numerous offerings including a sushi, hibachi, fried Chinese dishes, American offerings, desserts, soups, seafood(baked fish was delicious) and salad bar. Super impressed by the staff keeping everything fresh, hot and clean. Would definitely return if in the area. Tip, get there as close to 3:30pm for the dinner buffet as you can. BEST CHINESE BUFFET I HAVE BEEN IN LIKE FOREVER!!! It's extremely clean and waiters dont make u leave until after they see u cant eat no more, the sushi bar is incredible. We went for lunch as part of a family gathering. Honestly, I don't like Chinese food and it don't like me much either. I was hoping to find SOMETHING- I went mainly to be with my family. BOY WAS I SURPRISED!! They had a wonderful selection of food and I had a lot to choose from that wasn't just pure Chinese. Although the General Tso chicken was fantastic! Loaded up on seafood, chicken, salads, fruit, and even a mellow and good egg roll. Good food, good value, good service - hope we get to go again. Recommended. read more

Visited China Lee yesterday for the first time and went with low expectations because Chinese food in Florida in general is awful. We're from the northeast, where good Chinese food is easy to find. China Lee was a pleasant surprise. When I looked it up online, I saw a huge facility with a large parking lot and now I know why. It was just before 5 and there was already a long line waiting to get in. They offer a vast array of tasty dishes, something for everyone. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because their fried rice is plain, bland, and appears to just be brown rice and their "lo mein" is spaghetti. Still with a tasty sauce, but spaghetti. Their hot and sour soup also didn't have the taste we like and are used to. Luckily, all the other great dishes more than made up for these! Our server, Nancy was fantastic as well read more

It's located in a older shopping plaza and didn't look like much from the outside. Some of the food that doesn't get touched much was cold. They have a sushi bar and Mongolian grill! But again you could tell some of the sushi had been sitting out a while. The food that came out hot was good! No complaints. There was a wide variety of Asian foods, a large spread of salad and dessert, and even some kid/non-asian food. The price was reasonable for what you get. I've always had a difficult time getting my wife to eat here because she doesn't prefer a buffet but my family still went fairly often because the food was great. We waited for a couple of months to go once the new location opened because it was always packed. We have gone 3 times however giving China Lee the benefit of the doubt twice but after the 3rd really bad experience I can't imagine going back. The VERY BEST Chinese food Buffett you'll find within 500 miles. No one does it like these guys do. The buffet selection and quality here is a bit better than the typical Chinese buffet. The raw oysters were much better than you usually find. Their egg rolls are also a little better than the bland ones on most buffets. I enjoyed the salt and pepper shrimp. When it comes to soups go try the Hot and Sour. The sushi wasn't high enough quality for me, I'm particular about that, but they do have some sliced avocado on the sushi bar area, which was good with the cucumber salad, the seaweed salad and cold cocktail shrimp. They also have several types of large cooked fish fillets, like salmon and several white fish as well as small pieces of fried fish, that were typically overcooked, as it is sadly on most buffets. And then they have the standard fruit, cookies, cakes and ice cream for dessert. As usual I feel guilty for eating more than the $11.99 price, on weeknights, it's worth it. You pay a higher price on Fri and Sat nights due to crab legs being included and that's a givin at all these types of establishments. read more

Literally my favorite Chinese buffet I've been to so far, was going home from siesta keys to ohio and decided to stop and try this out. Wasn't sure about it at first, but the food was amazing, staff amazing, although they did just assume my 10 year old and 9 year old where older Then 10 he did fix that. Really loved the sushi and hibachi chef. Ice cream tasted really good. Would definitely recommend and will be stopping back in December on my Next florida vacation :).
