The problem is the additional charges Food Price Tax Delivery Fee $3.99 Tip Fee that they automatically add to any delivery $2.17 That is over $6 after food and tax. That is outrageous. It is nearly as bad as Door Dash or Uber eats. There are too many places that do not stick to delivery customers this badly. Goodbye China One. read more

I love Chinese food, I used to go to China town with my mom. China one used to be a good place to get a great meal. The last visit, I ordered bourbon chicken and Hunan beef. I don't know what happened to this place. I took one bite of the bourbon chicken and pushed it away. I never had hard bourbon chicken. I said nothing to my husband. He did the same. The oil that they fried the egg rolls was rancid. (My mother is a chef and I know what rancid oil smells like). We threw away all of the food...even the rice dish. Really bad experience. I ordered egg rolls, the crab rangoon, the wonton soup, the beef lo mein. The egg rolls were stale. The crab rangoon was very chewy and tough to eat, also with a stale taste. The beef lo mein was horrible. The beef itself tasted as if it was spoiled or undercooked. Then there's the wonton soup. We just moved to the area and are enamored by this restaurant. There is absolutely nothing special about the restaurant itself...it is the food that is the star. Touting a NY style kitchen, the flavors are simply marvelous. I had the Singapore noodles.
