We moved into Moreno Valley back in August 2014 and our household goods had not yet arrived and would be about two days out. We had no dishes, no real idea of what good eats were in the area, and no real way to even cook our own food. The first night we ordered some nasty pizza, but that is a different review. The second night we found China One, which was well rated on Yelp and also pretty much right across the street from our community. We were expecting the same kind of "Americanized Chinese food" along with chunky brown sauce and super salty flavors. We were very pleasantly surprised, however, because the food was excellent! It was a very good meal and because it was so good, it just made it that much more fun sitting and eating on the floor of a barely lit empty house. Since then we have ordered several more times, probably twice or thrice a month as we typically cook all our meals at home. They are very courteous on the telephone, very quick to deliver, and the delivery man is all smiles at the door. The food is always great and is always consistent, so we will definitely be ordering regularly from this place. I love the beef chow fen and the eggplant with tofu. Went there today to try it out for the first time. The food is good & you feel good after eating it, not sluggish. It's fresh. They serve boba, I'm not a huge fan of it but it's good. They have some pretty decent food... This is my first time eating food from China One and it is decent... The crab rangoon (6) was ok, I say okay due to the fact that it hardly had any crab or cream cheese in it, it was mainly wontons...( I wasn't disappointed because I can eat a whole pack of plain wontons by myself, but someone else might be upset)... The food is great here.. I've never dined inside but we always order for delivery. The eggdrop soup is really good. For family dinner I recommend the family meals either A or B I think it is. I gave 4 stars because of the delivery time, I know they warn you that it will be 45 mins to an hour long but the last time we ordered it took way over than an hour and all he could say was sorry. That was the last time I ordered here but I would order again.. Just make sure to munch on something beforehand. read more

This place is AMAZING! When you see it from the outside you'll think it's just your regular run of the mill chinese food restaurant. When you go inside, you'll be surprised to see that there is no counter full of pre-made food. Everything (aside from the soups) is made to order! The staff is incredibly friendly and the prices are very modest and the place is very clean. And they still use the paper boxes rather than the styrofoam containers. And they DELIVER! Never order online from this establishment. From going into the restaurant I know the food is not the best food in the world but its your basic "fast food" rice bowl place. We were in a pinch, ordered online at 8:30pm and got a confirmation of a 45 minute to an hour wait. We waited....and waited till at 9:45 pm we call in and was told "we're closed". But you were not closed when I ordered my food. This is not how you handle take out and delivery. If unable to deliver don't offer the service. read more

Came here for Christmas Day and they were open!! Love the location! They are in the Target shopping center right across from the yogurt place! Service is great and the food comes out very hot and very fresh! I see the guys sitting there on the side chopping while watching tv! Oh ya, they have tvs inside to watch. Usually it's sports but that's ok! They offer your regular chines food, my favs are the lettuce wraps and the orange chicken! They sell boba but I have yet to try it! First time here and I was impressed! I only got chicken fried rice to try it out and I must say the flavor was great. Food was hot and it was a lot. My mother ordered the combo egg foo young, chicken and broccoli, and BBQ pork..she loved them (especially the egg foo young)! I personally appreciate their various vegetarian selections! I ordered the sauteed vegetable combo (only$$5.95) with lo mein and was not disappointed! A few of these Yelpers say that the China One staff were rude on their visit, so I went in expecting A-holes but was instead met with a manager that is obviously overseeing some customer service improvements and that's what's up!! Ordered a vegetable and rice bowl. Had to repeat three times as the girl didnt speak English. She was rude and gave the impression I was a hassle. Ordered wings and house fried rice. For dinner they have specials which come out to be around 30 bucks and feeds 2-4 at least that is what the menu says could be between 4-6.
