Excellent soul food. Rich meaty greens. Deeply flavorful Mac and cheese, meaty bbq beans. Hot links are smoky and not very hot. The tips are good. The ribs are hall off the bone good. Every side was delicious. The owner is friendly and clearly proud of his food as he should be. Except for the liquor store this shopping center doesn't have a great track record of businesses making it long term. This location has no AC and it's over 101 degrees. The restaurant is stiflingly hot. I couldn't wait to leave. Chef said they are working on the AC so we can stay and eat there. I hope that's true. I am worried about Mr Win himself being in that heat himself! Clearly he likes food and respect s his art. The door says one name and the business cards say another - not sure what that part is about. Get the greens for sure. I wish there was cornbread to go with it. Cash only. Bbq meat is pricey but this is worth your money. read more

Was not disappointed!!! Walked in and was greeted by the owner/chef. He did say that he had a rush early and only had a few meats left: fried chicken, catfish, shrimp, brisket and he had all sides available. Ordered fried chicken w/ fried and shrimp + brisket w/ Mac n cheese & greens. Drinks: Kool-aid The owner/chef was extremely nice and kept telling me I favor his youngest daughter. I don't believe he's been open long so he only takes cash for now. Got home and Everything was good!!! Chicken and Shrimp were crispy and fried to perfection!!! I was not going to leave a bad review nor post pictures until I didn't get my refund returned to my card after being told I would and I also returned the food. The ribs were white, the chicken legs were white! The guy was very nice though. I supported a small business so I will accept that and move on. $33 gone! read more

Fried chicken: tasted okay, but there was no crust by the time I got home due to moisture from styrofoam. Not sure why, other restaurant I go to is crispy and hot, and almost same distance. Potato salad: okay; had skin on, of which i am not a fan. Rice and gravy: rice not fully cooked, and gravy good with a tad too much butter. Mac-n-cheese: okay, a little dry; Meal was $25... not bad for portions Service: new owner very friendly, was upfront about menu items. Overall, didn't seen prepared for customers. We got pork ribs tri tip and pulled pork with a side of Mac and cheese and collard greens all for $25! The owner was behind the counter and he was more than nice! I can tell he is still getting settled in to the location but he is very passionate about his craft and u can feel the love in the place. If it wasn't showed by the picture, the food. Was. Gas. He has selections like ribeye, brisket, ribs, chicken, sausage, jumbo shrimp, catfish, red snapper and more. You can eat inside or take to go. Met the owner and he's really cool. We had to try this place due to it's 5 star rating and here we are giving it another 5 stars. Small place with Great food at real good prices, just make sure to bring cash cause he ain't taking debit or Credit cards Yet. We got the feeling he's used to most customers ordering out but don't be in a rush, pull up a chair, bring them small tables together depending on your party's size and sit back and enjoy the food while it's nice and hot and talk story with the Chef.
