Ever since my family and I moved to Moreno Valley, we've been going to Lucky Greeks. From the outside, it doesn't look like much since it's a small family-owned place, but once you go inside, you realize how good it really is. The food there is amazing, especially the burgers. In my opinion, they're the best thing on the menu. Breakfast is decent too--the pancakes are pretty good--but the burgers and fries really stand out. The fries are always crispy, and the chili fries are my favorite because they come with chopped onions and chilies that make them taste even better. We used to go there almost every day, and even now we still go for family events. It's just a place we keep coming back to because the food is consistently good. The customer service is also really solid. Most of the workers are friendly, talkative, and make you feel welcome. The people cooking in the back also do a great job and are helpful if you need anything like a drink or extra help. The place overall feels very family-oriented and welcoming. The restaurant is always clean, which makes the experience even better. They do close early, but from what I've heard, it's because they have a steady group of regular customers, so they don't need to stay open late to make business work. There is one of the older owners who can seem a bit strict or serious at times, but overall the rest of the staff makes the experience really positive. Overall, the food is amazing, the service is good, and the place feels comfortable and welcoming. If I could, I'd give Lucky Greeks more than five stars. It's one of my favorite places to eat. read more

It was my first time ordering from Lucky Greek today. I ordered the cheeseburger special which came with fries and a medium drink. It was ready in 10 minutes!!! The cheeseburger was filling and the fries were a perfect texture. I'm perfectly full right now! The service was great and there were a good amount of people in the restaurant. What a hidden spot! I've been here for breakfast and lunch. Both times were great. Their breakfast platters are good. Their cheeseburger lunch special is also good. They have a family special for $40. Again, we have stopped into the Lucky Greek restaurant, and oh my gosh. The place is getting a lot of customers inside to eat. Today we saw a lot of happy faces and full bellies. And yes, Raquel was in doing her service job. She is zooming around the restaurant, taking orders and delivering orders, almost at the speed of light. (not really) But she is really fast, and accurate. The prices in there are very competitive. My wife grew up in Moreno Valley and ate here every Saturday with her Family. When we started dating, she would invite me here and It sort just took off from there. We even lived nearby for years until we relocated to LA. So every time we're nearby we have to stop in and enjoy a nice breakfast. The quality has gone down slightly over the years. Avocado Bacon Cheeseburger is my favorite item here! The fries are always hot and fresh too! I can't speak to other items, but I can definitely say this burger is so good! Service is fast, but waiting for a table can take a while sometimes. The atmosphere feels busy, but still a decent place to grab a quick meal with family or friends. This was my first time trying Lucky Greek, and I had a great experience. I went a little before 12pm on a Saturday. When I got there, the tables were about half full. By noon, every table was filled. When I tell you the staff here was MOVING, I'm not kidding. Everyone was very attentive to their tables, as well as the customers coming in to pick up or order at the counter. First time and last. The food was ok nothing special but drenched in oil! From the eggs to the hash brown - everything! So much oil and butter that I had to use multiple napkins trying to absorb some the oil and butter. You can see o. We have been here quite a bit lately. The other times we have been here, we would wait by the door, but a worker would always tell us to seat ourselves. This morning, we decided we would just seat ourselves. While waiting for service, a worker came by and rudely told us we can't seat ourselves that they had a wait list today. As if we knew there was a waitlist. So we got up and waited by the door just to be ignored, and we didn't even get put on this so-called "wait list." So we left to take our business elsewhere. When running a business, you should not treat prospective customers like this. They just lost a family of four as loyal customers for being so rude and ignoring us. read more

But I'm must say the ladies at the Lucky Greek impressed me greatly. They are very personable with their patrons, prompt with service, the food was fairly good and the pricing was fair. It's a diner located in a shopping center, it was fairly clean and I was greeted right away and directed to seat where I pleased. The waitress assigned to my table was Raquel she was GREAT, she was courteous and checked up on me periodically without it being overly annoying. They are truly a team here, while Raquel was busy with other tables Angie came by several times to see if i needed a refill on my coffee or needed anything. I order chicken strips on my lunch got there and I was waiting a while then a rude ass lady started screaming " girl girl girl girl" until I turned around. I was like wth?? She then screamed " order ready!!!!" Like a loud rude ass . When I realized she was screaming at me I grabbed the bag and and my drink and left. Once I got back to work I took a bite of the chicken to find it slightly pink and the breading was mushy and gross and not cooked thoroughly. I wasted 13$ on an inedible meal then I went to take of drink of my soda and noticed they gave me some kind of nasty tea that taste like medicine. Hello. I remember coming here as a kid and it was scrumptious.
