We were A little hesitant to go because of the reviews on here but everyone in the family really love this place and has asked to go back again and again. We had a great experience! It's about what you expect from a buffet... It's not the very best of Chinese food but it was really good and they had a good variety of dishes. Ordered Chicken wings chopped fried hard. They have me 3 whole wings that was undercooked. Rice that was dry a don't even look like a full portion. I normally have an ok time when the lady working. but the guy there just fucked up me EVER GOING BACK. I wish I could take a pic an show y'all what it look like..Highly dissatisfied smh... The food is actually quite good. It is one of the best in the area since Chef Wong's closed. Now the problems... Refreshing the buffet is very slow and if you arrive maybe a half hour before the buffet closes - don't expect any refreshing. Was there yesterday at dinner time. They have a dinner for two including wonton soup, pork egg roll, Mongolian beef, and sweet and sour chicken. Since the individual entree prices are the same, I asked it kung pao chicken could be substituted for the sweet and sour chicken. We also asked for hot tea. When the check came, there was an extra $1 and an extra $2 charge. So the tea was $1 and the charge to substitute the kung pao was $2. But she said nothing when I ordered. I went there many times years ago when Mr Chen was the owner/chef, but it has gone down hill since then. This was their last chance - and they failed miserably. read more

Wow, I never knew you could go wrong with Chinese food! I walked in on a weekday (Wednesday afternoon) saw their neon sign that stated they had a buffet, upon walking in there were zero customers (I felt bad for the owners at this point and wanted to support their business) I should have followed the warning signs, the buffet they had set up was so mediocre. The Lomein looked so dry and all their dishes were had such a small amount in the hot containers as if they knew they wouldn't have a single customer, it's as though the food was left there all day like that or potentially longer. Despite these signs I still decided to order, I ordered two combos and it was around 1pm so should have been lunch pricing. (Approx $6 each) I ordered two and my total came out to $19! That's the most I've spent on Chinese in a long time! For just two combo meals. Yes I did substitute lomein instead of fried rice but wow I was shocked at that price. When I received the bag it was very heavy, I was excited! When I got home I realized it was quantity over quality unfortunately. The "bone less pork ribs" were so chewy and visibly appeared to be freezer burned that I did not eat even half of the serving. The lomein and fried rice were the only decent items as the general Tso's followed the same direction. Very chewy and old tasting, more breading then chicken. Overall we ended up not even eating more then 25% of our food it was simply inedible, the only things that were even close to being able to be consumed were the fried rice and lomein. I will never be going back to this establishment and would never recommend it. read more

This is my favorite Chinese Restaurant! The lunch buffet is always fresh and the price is right! At dinner time when there isn't a buffet my hubby and I usually share a Four Seasons, egg rolls and wonton soup. Not too many places you can get a good meal for 2 for under $16!! read more

Best buffet for lunch hand down. May not be the biggest game in town but the food has a really good taste and it's and fresh. I was there a total of about 40 minutes and I saw the staff bring fresh food to the bar at least 6 or 7 times. A very nice selection for a small place and very reasonably priced. If you want good service, friendly staff & huge portions then this is the place for you! We eat here once a week or so. We walk in and the young man who is usually taking orders knows what we want. :) It's nice to be regulars. Happy Family and Kung Pao Chicken -yum! Let me start by saying that I have always had good service and excellent food from the China Palace. Their food is not the issue, but their customer service is, at least from what I experience. I placed an order for deliver, for 1 large sweet and sour chicken, 1 sweet and sour triple delight and 1 beef with scallops. When the food arrived, there was only one box of sweet and sour (it was the chicken), and what looked like 2 boxes of beef with scallops. I called the store to explain the mistake. I got to hear women screaming in the background in Chinese, at the gentleman that was trying to help me. They swore they got the order right. Well, they didn't. They put a Cantonese Triple Delight in the box, instead of sweet and sour. It was a completely different item, with completely different ingredients, and nothing I said was going to make them admit that a mistake was made. I love this place's food.. but if that's how it's going to be when a mistake is made, I'll just stick with Chen's. read more
