    Celtic wings: superb

Wow! I wish I could take it home with me. Inside an older building with character, the pub has wooden floors and plenty of tables and has a funky vibe (as in very positive, not franchised sameness). Two big rooms are divided by a service island for the wait staff. Friendly hostess took us a table within a minute; a friendly waitress greeted us and gave us time to read the beer list (which goes on for pages). I ordered a plank of home made beers (4 glasses of about 4 ounces each); Laura got a martini. We shared a small order of wings with bourbon bbq sauce -- I wished I could've taken it home -- which were fabulous. My bangers and mash were excellent. Top notch all over; street parking. Highly recommended. I wish I could take the whole place back so I could go once a week. Really superb.

Great spot for grabbing drinks. All of their food is great, but their hamburger salad is my favorite. The salad dressing has a tomato base and it's outstanding. Their buffalo chicken salad is also good, but if you're unsure of what you want, go for the hamburger salad. It's always a win.

Market Cross has a great menu for food and drinks. There are tables as well as the bar area. There's a room that can be used for large groups. The service is fast and friendly. We had the beer cheese burger and the lip smacker. Both were delicious! We've been several times and always enjoyed ourselves.

What an awesome pub!!! Stopped in for dinner the other night and was very impressed with this gem. Everything from the decor to the atmosphere was top notch. The food was delicious and even tho every table was full the food came out fast. The owner was nice enough to take us and show us where they brew their own beers. It was just like they did it in the old days. Definitely stop in and try this place out.

Decided to try this establishment after not having luck finding a decent, healthy lunch at another place we really wanted to eat at. I'm glad we did, and our creator made things work out the way it did. While having fried fish and chips wasn't my first choice today, as I eat healthier choices mostly, I'm very glad we came here. We walked in around 12:30 pm during lunchtime. Despite the lunch crunch and a sizeable number of patrons in the restaurant section, we were seated quickly and greeted. Looking at the Pub type food choices, we both decided on starting with the house salad. Mine with Malt vinegar so I could stay true to avoiding dairy, my friend with a dill dressing, which was homemade here, and she loved. What should we order in a Pub? Fish and Chips, of course! We also offer shepherds pie, chicken pot pie, and much more. See the pics of the menu I provided here. The ambiance is very good, lots of space between tables, well decorated, comfortable overall. The service was great and very accommodating to my finicky, picky food choices, modifications, and self-imposed healthy food (Pescatarian "plus", nearly vegan) needs. The salad was plentiful and fresh. The fish and chips was also plentiful. Nice pieces of fish and a bunch of fries. The fish coating was flavorful and crunchy/crisp. Trying not to go too far of the healthy path, I took most of the breading off the fish and realized that next time I should just ask for the fish minus the breading if they would do that. Removing the crunchy breading, I found the fish still tasty but greasy from its frying, of course. And the cocktail sauce was also great. Yep, in one meal I used all of my daily weight watchers points and more. That's the beauty of my lifestyle - having the flexibility to go far afield on occasions. (Pass me the carrot sticks, celery, and lettuce for the next few days, please - ha!) I can't say too much about how good the seating area and service were. They made the meal even better!

Queen's Basket. Was a bit surprised by its appearance, but the texture and flavor were really good.

Food - 4 stars Ambiance - 3 stars Service - 3 stars Walked in, party of 3, and the host didn't actually say anything to us. Just picked up the menus and walked us through slowly to find a table that didn't need to be cleaned off. Not a very warm welcome, and the dirty tables weren't a good first impression. Big TVs are good for watching sports. Average volume. Some of the seating feels unnecessarily cramped. This place could do with a better layout, but maybe that's the pub atmosphere they are going for. Ordered a soda, and it tasted like carbonated water, so I sent it back, and they said they couldn't figure out how to fix the flavoring on the machine. But I know that just happens sometimes, and I appreciate the effort anyway. Fries were warm but definitely not hot and fresh. The fish was pretty awesome. We always had to ask for refills, but it would have been noticeably better if our server had recognized we needed drinks and brought them without needing to be asked. They give you a check with a QR code on it. Inventive and efficient, but also, given the rest of our experience, came across as a lazy and potentially less accessible and intuitive method of collecting payment. Will probably be back since it's a pretty decent local spot.

This was my 2nd time to Market Cross Pub. Great choices with lots of unique variety! We shared the soft pretzel app. It was yummy. And the salmon tacos were a delicious spin on the traditional fish tacos.

We decided to take a drive in search of something tasty, and our adventure led us to Brewhouse Grill in Camp Hill, PA. From the outside, it looked like a small neighborhood bar. But once we stepped inside, the vibe completely changed. Bright lights, a welcoming atmosphere, and a lively bar area. The hostess greeted us right away, which was a relief since my hunger was hitting hard. We checked out the specials and ordered two classics: a flatbread pizza and a Philadelphia cheesesteak. As an Eagles fan, I couldn't resist testing how a Harrisburg area cheesesteak stacked up against Philly's best. And if you know me, you know I take pizza seriously think ninja turtle levels of dedication.‍ The pizza came out crisp and well-done, but the cheese was a bit skimpy, leaving me wanting more. The cheesesteak, unfortunately, didn't quite hit the mark either. Luckily, a cold beer and the friendly staff helped balance out the disappointment. What impressed me most was the atmosphere. Brewhouse Grill works for just about anyone: families looking for a quiet meal, sports fans wanting to catch a game at the bar, or summer crowds enjoying the covered deck with a DJ. That summertime setup sounds like a whole different experience, and I'm eager to come back when the weather warms up. Final Verdict: The food didn't wow me, but the service and atmosphere make Brewhouse Grill worth checking out especially in the summer when the deck and DJ bring the place to life.

Naturally, I had already done my due diligence (read: stalked the menu for a full week) and had a game plan. At the top of my list? The deviled eggs and the Kale Caesar salad with salmon. The only problem...I absolutely did not need $40 worth of food for lunch. So I quietly spent the week putting "deviled egg energy" out into the Universe, hoping my lunch partner would suggest splitting them. Manifestation is real, people. I arrived around 12pm and found plenty of parking out back in Watershed's designated lot, which is clearly labeled--a good thing, because parking in that area looks like it could get competitive if you're not paying attention. We had made a 12:15pm reservation (Monday lunch felt safe, but why risk it?), and our table on the enclosed patio was ready when we arrived. It was the perfect setup--sunny and bright, but still warm enough to be comfortable on a chilly day. The vibe was great, and our server was even better--friendly, attentive, and consistently checking in without being overbearing. Then it was time to order. I let my lunch partner go first and waited... "Do you want to try the deviled eggs as an appetizer?" Are you kidding me?!. YES. Yes, I did! We ordered the deviled eggs ($11) to share, and I followed through with my Kale Caesar salad ($15) topped with seared salmon (+$13), officially completing my week-long menu-stalking mission. The deviled eggs came out FAST, and in my excitement, I completely forgot to take a picture--which tells you everything you need to know. Each egg was topped with a cube of candied bacon that absolutely stole the show. Sweet, savory, and just the right texture to complement the creamy filling. We made quick work of all four--excellent start to the meal! Not long after, our lunches arrived, and my salad? Gorgeous. Like, actually exciting to look at. I dug in immediately and it delivered. The mix of shaved brussels sprouts, kale, and romaine gave it great texture, the dressing was well-balanced, and the red onion didn't overpower the rest of the flavors. But my favorite part? The garlic parmesan crouton crumble. No chasing rogue croutons around the plate--just perfectly distributed crunch in every bite. Genius! The portion size was generous, too--I made it through about half before calling it and boxing the rest for dinner later. By the time we were wrapping up, the enclosed patio had filled up significantly, which tells me this is a popular lunch spot--and for good reason. The food is solid, the atmosphere is great, and the service was spot on. That said...$40 for deviled eggs, a salad and water is a bit steep for an everyday lunch. For me, this feels more like a "treat yourself," client meeting, or special occasion kind of place rather than a regular rotation spot. Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I be casually popping in every week? Probably not. But those deviled eggs? Totally worth manifesting!
