This place is a hit or miss. My jobs orders from here all the time and I have had some delicious meals, but also some horrible meals. They have the tendency to send uncooked fried rice. Inedible rice, especially during their early lunch specials hours. I can understand that they probably have hundred of orders at that time, but don't send people food they cannot eat. On the other hand I have had some really good General tso's chicken (spicy) and chicken and broccoli. Just wish they were more consistent with their food. read more

While I've never had a bad food related experience here, the service tends to not be great. Whether you order delivery or pick up, your food will take at least twice as long than you expect for it to be ready. The last time I ordered takeout, it took a half hour longer than said to be ready, and the last time I ordered delivery, they were late by almost 2 hours. It's a real shame, because the food is really good, I'd recommend their spareribs any day. But I can't help but be discouraged by the restaurants poor service, I recently ordered delivery, and I didn't get my food till well past 3 PM! Unacceptable by all means. read more

We got take-out twice and enjoyed it, although some dishes are better than others. It's good that they offer brown rice, for people looking for a relatively healthy meal. And they also have good dishes that contain both meat and a good serving of vegetables. This place is the best, I live in Wayne and have several Chinese restaurants that will deliver to my door but I would rather take the 10 minute ride and get their food to bring home for the family. It just tastes better than the others places. They even have sushi, so we get some sushi rolls and lo mein and chicken with broccoli (plenty of chicken) etc. The owners are extremely friendly and always greet me with a smile. We have tried several Chinese restaurants in the Fairfield area over the years. China Pavilion is the only one we use now. The food is consistently delicious, made to order. The owners are nice and friendly and always ask about family. Their boneless ribs are great, we adore their chicken and broccoli, and their General Tsaos chicken is fabulous. Seriously good Chinese food. It's not your typical place though. I say this because the food tasted totally different from any other American-Chinese food that I've had. Fat rice with a nutty taste, vegetables that were not so typical looking, etc. Really unique and tasty. Lunch special comes with soup. Super cheap lunch special- just under $6. And although it appears to be mostly take-out, it was actually comfortable to sit and eat there. Most of these places are hot and leave you heading for home to chow down, but this place had cool air and nice looking designed mirrors. read more

Have had Chinese food here before and it was OK. Remember being disappointed there were no 'real' quarts of the entrees back in the day when Chinese food came in paper pint or quart containers. On the most recent visit, didnt even order because we were told they were nearly out of eggplant and would not do a regular order, suggesting a combo instead. Nice staff but the food was just ok. I ordered the shrimp with broccoli and it didn't taste that great. Almost like it was too sweet and the shrimp seemed old maybe. I didn't get sick or anything, so that's a good thing. It's a lot of value for what you pay, so I'm happy about that. I would probably give this place another shot. read more

Yuki is a very nice manager --- the delivery guy Bobby is super nice too! They would make customized rolls, one time my coworker ordered spicy crunchy yellowtail (which was not on the menu) and they would consider it for lunch special. I am very happy with their service! read more
