Decent food for the price and customer service is about what you would expect for a buffet

The food was great, and the service was excellent. There was a good selection at the buffet, and the price was fair. While on a road trip, we came through Poteau on an early Sunday afternoon. A large crowd had gathered at Chinese Taste. After the meal, we were certain why the crowd had gathered. The buffet was great. The service was good. The service is very good. Your glass will never be empty, and your plate will be full. The food is fresh. The variety is exceptional. All food is fresh and hot. Family friendly environment, great location, very clean. The soups are delicious, the traditional desserts are tasty, and the food is prepared by those who have grown up in kitchens where these recipes have lived for many years. read more

Typical small town Chinese buffet. The price was reasonable, the food was pretty good. The staff were friendly and the place looked old and a little run down but overall clean. Will probably stop by again if I'm in town. read more

I usually love this place. They have many flaws but I just love certain things. Anyways, I'm not sure if it was the restaurants fault, but I brought my husband home two of the kabobs, and he woke up in the middle of the night and vomited all the contents in his stomach. The only thing we can think i it could've been was the kabobs. I got my own takeout box and that's all he ate off of it. I didn't have kabobs and I was fine. Just a heads up. read more

Ever since I was a kid, I would go to this place and have lunch. The food is very good, and the staff is amazing. On weekdays, the lunch special buffet is - I believe - around seven dollars. They have such a variety, including beef and broccoli, General Tso's chicken, coconut chicken, salmon, sweet and s9our chicken, and so much for. They also have a full dessert bar. I love me some China Taste, especially Their Salmon, it's always fresh and tasty. Nancy and her husband along with a very good staff always serve up the best and very authentic Chinese entrees in the entire Eastern Oklahoma area. They also offer an extensive menu of preferred foods in you're not in the mood for their deplorably delicious hot buffet. Great place to meet and great too. Hungry for an after dinner snack, they really know how to pack some goods in those sacks. read more

If you don't have experience with authentic Chinese food, you will probably like this. It's not authentic and it's mediocre in my opinion at best. The soup is good and the service is fast. Come for lunch, that's when they are busy and the food is the freshest. read more

CHINA TASTE IN POTEAU IS A RIP OFF!! Service wasn't very good and we paid for five buffets so the "lady" owner I guess, stamped five cards one time each! We thought she should have stamped it all on one card because it was five buffets and paid for by one person! That way we could get a free buffet quicker. We won't be going back there! read more

Good foods great taste and top notch wait staff always willing to service your table. They have salmon on the buffet daily along with a garden variety of veggies meats and dessert bar. Menu selections are really good too if you're like me and sometimes you just do not care for buffets. New drink item Mug root beer. read more

Serious roach infestation can not believe health dept allows them to be open. The food would not be bad if it did not contain bugs. I found a roach in my food. It is very dirty and needs a surprise inspection. read more

3 visits, The same result -sushi is gummy and filling is hard vegetable, The buffet is bland with little difference between dishes. Taste seems that same brown sauce is used for many of the offerings. Use of spice or change in buffet dishes would be welcome. read more
