We have been trying to order from them for 3 days but they have been closed because they hire technicians who apparently don't want to come in and fix the equipment. This is absolutely ridiculous. They need to hire people that actually want to work. They lost our business this weekend to Fiji's. It's a little more pricey but reliable in being open for business. read more

Not so sure we will be eating there again. We have gotten food to go several times since they opened. We have had a few good experiences, but lately they have been bad for the most part. The quality and freshness of the food varies all the time. Portion size also varies. This time the Super Greens were very bad. There was something really off in it that's usually not in it. It tasted like a spice (a lot of it) or maybe even a chemical. It left a very bad taste in our mouth. I wouldn't eat anymore of the Super Greens and threw them out since the broccoli also didn't look fresh (was yellowish on top). I tried to file a complaint through their website and app, but each time all the details were filled out, it wouldn't go through. It did let me send feedback though through an e-mail survey I received. Apparently, Panda Express changed their orange chicken, and they have a lot of people complaining. So I am assuming complaints are being blocked because there are too many. In the past, they would send a coupon code for a free meal if you were not satisfied. Very disappointed! read more

It's fast food and it isn't supposed to be super duper. But, I always like the taste! The manager here at night is brutal. I would list his name, but he always has it covered up with his apron. He micro-manages everything including the customer. They had the Pepper Beef labeled with a Crisp Chile Shrimp sticker and the bowl was empty. I made the comment to a female worker that was waiting on me that it didn't look like shrimp. Well, the manager immediately stepped in feint of her to point out that there were labels at the top. I pointed right back to the sticker and said, well it says shrimp and there is no shrimp anywhere close to that bowl. He said, well we have nowhere else to put the sticker. His initial response was very condescending and he could have said it a lot nicer. I am in there about once a week and he is ALWAYS a butt to customers and employees alike. New to Fort Smith, plenty of room for improvement. The drive thru line was backed out onto the street so I decided to go inside. There were approximately 10 people in front of me. It took me 24 minutes from entering the restaurant to receive my food. The employees were super friendly. Unfortunately the fried rice kept running out forcing them to stop fulfilling orders. The drive thru line continued to be served while the patrons inside waited longer. As for the food, I was pretty disappointed. The fried rice looks great in the picture, but tasted burned like the scrapped bits from the wok in each bite (not like the delicious crunchy rice at the bottom of the pot). The steamed vegetables were warmed thru but way too hard, almost raw. The manager is quick to help if something is not correct. For being a fast-food place on Rogers (One of the more crowded streets in Fort Smith) this establishment is doing wonderfully. I think some of these other reviews are harshly mistaken and potentially based off of one experience. I am a regular at this location. 10/10 recommend. read more

Went in to place an order to go. The guy filled my food and placed it on a tray near the register. I walked up to the register. The cashier finished checking out the person before me. The Cashier made no acknowledgement of my presence. She walked off toward the back. In the meantime someone asked me if they could help me. I pointed to my food waiting on a tray. He said "oh" and told me he thought I was waiting on the mobile order sitting on a shelf and walked off. At this time the original cashier emerged with purse in hand and left the building, she did stop at the soda pop area to comment on a lady's purse before leaving the building. Another person walked by she had a headset on and paid no attn to me. Another person walked up and I pointed to the food and held my credit card up, she walked by and started filling someones order. There were 2 people filling food plates and various people walking back and forth. When the next plate of food was put on the tray beside mine and still no cashier with people walking back and forth with apparently nothing to do, I was feeling completely invisible, not one person even said "someone will be right with you", I left the building. Panda Express is hands down the best Chinese-American food you can get in Fort Smith, taste and quality wise it blows the other Chinese food places in the area away. (Please note, Pad Thai is THAI not "Chinese" as a lot of residents here think, And Green Papaya is Vietnamese so again, Panda Express is the best Chinese) Good selection, fresh, tastes good. So why only 3 stars? The service. The service speed is abysmal. Not bad, abysmal, like the worst I have seen in 42 years. If there are even 2 groups ahead of you in line, be prepared to wait. A huge problem is they put your food on the plate then it just sits there for ages because of the register. They always have 1 untrained person on the register, be it lunch or dinner, so you watch your food just grow ice crystals on it as it sits there, minute after minute. Second problem, out of the seven times I have been four of them they have been out of steamed white rice.... this is like McDonalds running out of fries... it shouldn't ever happen. I can understand once as maybe they underestimated demand, but 4 times? Is no manager taking note of this and making more? How hard is it to be like "hey white rice is getting low, steam more" Its the simplest and cheapest food to make, even if you make too much and have some left at closing, what are you wasting, 3 dollars of rice? I very rarely leave reviews but I am doing one now in the hopes someone reads it and fixes the issues. 1) speed up the lines, get two TRAINED people on the register, and if some old lady is taking ages to decide on what she wants have someone else jump in and move other customers along. 2) pay attention to what's getting low and make more, make LESS of what isn't selling. Any time I have gone for dinner they are trying to sell me shrimp because they are out of chicken. Make less shrimp, make more chicken and rice. TLDR: Food is great service speed is awful, come here if you have time to burn or don't mind standing in lines, avoid if you are in a hurry. read more

I've been into panda many times and today was horrible. The lady serving us was so rude. They put the wrong meat in the tray even though the correct one was written on the container and on the receipt. Also if you order teriyaki chicken you apparently need to ask for the teriyaki sauce to go with it. I tried to call and get this corrected and in the middle of the conversation the manager acted like she could not hear me and she hung up. I won't be surprised when they close due to slow business and childish management. read more

We really like the food at Panda Express. Unfortunately 2 of the 4 times we've used the app the staff was incredibly rude. Our order was ready and the staff insisted it wasn't. It doesn't happen every time but it's annoying to have the staff be so dismissive and take home food that needs reheating when they finally acknowledge that our order is ready. While the food is good most of the time, the service is horrible. Lily who works drive-thru sometimes is rude and not very knowledgeable. She was rude to us when we made our order then had us pull up to wait. We waited more than 15 minutes. I finally went inside to see what was going on. They kept telling me 5 minutes. I finally asked for a refund and Lily was the one who apparently was in charge. There was no manager on that night. She had to call the manager to do the refund as she didn't know how to do it. Every time we have been there they seem to run out of products. After several months this is an issue if poor management. Whoever owns this franchise needs to either train the manager and employees or this will eventually lose lots of customers. The restaurant seemed clean but they use the same gloves to take money and dish food. We stopped going there until we know things have changed. I've been to ones in Texas and Florida and none of them are half as bad as this one. I don't recommend them until they make positive changes. read more
