I found the food to be hot and fresh with almost constant turnover of one item or another. For those who don't like Chinese there is an American side with lots of options. Your drink is included with the meal as well as decent dessert options. My only concern would be the egg drop soup which is extremely salty. read more

Absolutely the most disgusting restaurant in Blue Springs. They charge 20$ for cross contaminated, cold, dry food that has been sitting out for hours. We ordered this on a delivery app. Order wasn't correct. Ordered Hot and Sour soup but got Egg Drop soup. The chicken and broccoli had the same sauce as the beef and onion (listed later as beef and vegetables). The sweet and sour chicken tasted old and reheated with the sauce baked on the chicken. The lomain was very oddly oily. Like there were pockets of oil, not sauce but oil. There was a metallic taste with the crab Rangoon and I'm sure the crab was missing. The worst food I've eaten in a long time. They had a variety of American, Mexican, and Chinese. The shrimp was over fried, partially burnt, and appeared to have been sitting on the buffet all day. The chicken had a crunchy exterior, not in a good way, and the meat was dry. The gravy was congealed. The donuts were cold and sort of hard. This is the best Chinese buffet I've been to in my 31 years of being a big fat dude. It was where I went after the freshman homecoming dance with my best friend. It's the same today as it was then, aside from the inside remodel. There are places that have better individual items but as far as a collective buffet, I've never been to a better one. Crab Rangoon is top notch. The hot and sour soup is great. My favorite main dish is the jalapeño chicken. It's nice and big too, a good place to spread out with friends. Like I said, I'm a big fat guy and this place probably contributed to my big fatness so I should be pissed. But instead I'm irritated that a few people with wontons up their butts and no sense of what Chinese buffets are like are giving it bad reviews. Ignore them and give this place a try. It does have a decent selection but a rather limited selection of typical Chinese food and lots of "filler American food" (i.e. potatoes, mac and cheese, meatless chicken wings). The buffet is heaping with several fried foods which are tasteless. Some people say you can judge a Chinese buffet by its crab rangoons. And this one would probably hold true -- I am not sure if management has cut back or what, but the last time I visited here there was literally NO filling when I opened up the crab rangoon. My husband and I were originally planning on going to Tokyo grill across the street but the wait was too long so we decided to try this place out instead. I have to tell you this is some of the worst Chinese food I've ever had and one of the most un-cleanly establishments I've been at. My husband and I ended up walking out. We left feeling like we needed to wash our hands and take a shower. Trash on the floor, dirty tables everywhere, and food on the floor. The food quality was beyond sub standard with everything we kept trying. It was the kind of food that you were worried was going to make you sick. The orange chicken was dry and tasted fishy, which made me worry that it was bad. The sushi was 90% rice with so little fish, vegetables, etc in the middle that I couldn't even tell what it was. One of the sushi rolls I could tell was made with CANNED TUNA! The sushi was comical. My last ditch effort to find some decent food was at the hibachi station when I watched the man stir frying my food blatantly violate health code by touching all the tongs, sauce bottles, stir my food, then using the same gloves assemble and roll sushi and set it out for people to eat. Gross! They also had some imitation crab meat that crumbled like bread when you touched it. Wtf is that even made of?! After that my husband (who literally will eat anything and never complains) and I decided to leave with empty stomachs. This is one of those nightmare Chinese buffets to stay away from.
