We have driven past this place so many times and never made it in. It's not fancy on the outside... but the service and food is pretty darn good! We were so happy we stopped in and can't wait to go back. Very nice people.

The best Chinese food. After a 25 mile hike, China village was exactly what I needed. The kung pao chicken is a masterpiece. 10/10.

We ordered the appetizer platter and it had 2 of each of an array of apps, fried wontons, truly homemade eggrolls, crab Rangoon and chicken kebabs and beef on a stick. With an array of sauces too. We also got wonderfully tasting jasmine tea and she brought two cups for us to both have the teapot. For entrees we shared the phenomenal orange chicken. It came with orange peel cooked into it and a side of peeled fresh orange which was so delicious to cut off and add to a bite. The chicken was such nice quality white meat and very fresh and super crispy. The orange sauce was perfectly sweet and savory and lightly orange-y. I'd definitely get it again. We also had kung pao beef and the beef quality was also very fresh, and tender but perfectly cooked and it was not like 90% of Chinese places that soft but chewy beef so common to find. Because of that I must must must go back and try the orange beef. The sauce flavor was deep, rich and a little spicy, just as hoped. As I was eating I told my partner, I think this is the best American style Chinese food I've ever had in Colorado and that's true. Rivals anything in NY or San Fran. Everything was perfect and every detail was pleasant. 10/10 highly recommended and will be back to bring friends. It's a gorgeous drive to a wonderful little restaurant.

It came with a bubble that once popped all the smoke is released. If you like smoky flavored drinks I recommend this one! Very great, friendly service. Despite having a reservation, we weren't seated promptly because the restaurant didn't have a table available. We were offered a spot at the bar, which we accepted. About 15 minutes after us, another couple arrived and were seated immediately in a booth we had been promised. The waiter spent about 20 minutes chatting with them, even though the restaurant was completely booked. We also noticed that the diners were handing him a large wad of cash when they paid their bill. Another issue we've had is that the food is not properly spaced out between courses, which makes the meal feel rushed and poorly managed. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and unnecessarily uncomfortable. For a restaurant that should know how to handle reservations and provide professional service, this was a major disappointment. In the future, we'll stick to takeout instead of dining in. The food is always excellent, and we'll just enjoy it in the privacy of our own home.

Recent obsession of mine might be dumplings so I wasted no time to check it out and oh boy, I am so glad I did. The time was around 1:50pm. A little past the peak lunch time and yet, the restaurant was drawing a steady footprint. I placed my order ahead of time as I knew I would wait for a bit. Once I was inside and told one of the workers that I was in for my online pick up order, he sent me to the front of the restaurant. Another worker greeted me and said it would be another 5 minutes or so. She kindly said to sit in one of the chairs and wait for a little bit. Pleasant and quick encounter with a few of the workers made me think that this restaurant appears to do a good job in treating all guests with respect and kindness. The restaurant is on the smaller side and yet the number of tables are ample. It should hold about a bit over 40 people when it's at its full capacity. Simple and clean dining room with orangey red incorporated into the booth seats and regular table seats. What I got from them were: -Chilled Tofu in Chili Oil -Vegetable Dumpling (10 pieces) -Side rice After my job assignment, I sure was hungry. The simple and yet tasty chilled tofu in chili oil on the hot steamy white rice were simply what I needed; it truly hit the spot and was comforting as well. The vegetable dumplings were probably THE best veggie dumplings I have never had. Lightly seasoned but not bland at all. The pockets of dough that hold the mixed veggies were beautifully bright green. The most beautiful-looking veggie dumplings I have ever seen as well. Congratulations to Dumpling Bay; they are opening a new location in Highlands Ranch. Per the poster that advertises that new opening, the Highlands Ranch location will be their flagship location. Currently planned for November 2026. This new location will be nearly 5,000 sq ft that will serve steamed buns, soup dumplings, hand-pulled noodles, knife-cut noodles as well as Chinese stir-fried dishes. It will have a full-service bar and a large patio seating as well. I will be the first one to check it out when it's open; I mean it!!
