This Chinese is just okay. It's definitely the best you're gonna get in Park or Summit County but not good. It's okay.

Probably the best moo shu I've had in Colorado. Very inexpensive, and extremely gracious owner.

We ordered the appetizer platter and it had 2 of each of an array of apps, fried wontons, truly homemade eggrolls, crab Rangoon and chicken kebabs and beef on a stick. With an array of sauces too. We also got wonderfully tasting jasmine tea and she brought two cups for us to both have the teapot. For entrees we shared the phenomenal orange chicken. It came with orange peel cooked into it and a side of peeled fresh orange which was so delicious to cut off and add to a bite. The chicken was such nice quality white meat and very fresh and super crispy. The orange sauce was perfectly sweet and savory and lightly orange-y. I'd definitely get it again. We also had kung pao beef and the beef quality was also very fresh, and tender but perfectly cooked and it was not like 90% of Chinese places that soft but chewy beef so common to find. Because of that I must must must go back and try the orange beef. The sauce flavor was deep, rich and a little spicy, just as hoped. As I was eating I told my partner, I think this is the best American style Chinese food I've ever had in Colorado and that's true. Rivals anything in NY or San Fran. Everything was perfect and every detail was pleasant. 10/10 highly recommended and will be back to bring friends. It's a gorgeous drive to a wonderful little restaurant.

First impressions coming in, fairly busy, but the waitress was able to guide us to a table. Table was a bit dirty, but the waitress eventually came to clean it up. Ordered the Yushan Eggplant and the Chongqing Chicken. Had low expectations coming in, but it was pretty good. Eggplant is what I think of when I want Chinese eggplant. Has the classic umami soy garlic sauce and wasn't hard or tough like I've had in other places in Denver. The Chongqing Chicken was also tasty with a good crunch and spice. I think the only thing with the chicken was the pieces were fairly small and there was too much starch around each piece. Otherwise, solid dish. It's overall a great family-run restaurant. The waitress had a kid there too, and it reminded me of home in a way. Would come back again to try their other dishes, and definitely would get the eggplant again.

They have no information on their website regarding gluten free options. I called to inquire and…read morethe lady who answered was very curt and did not seem to understand what I was asking. When I asked if they offer any gluten free items, she said "yes, we can do gluten free with the sauce." I asked what that means, is that for every menu item? Are you familiar with celiac? She assuredly and in a rushed tone said "yes, I have been working in the restaurant industry for 25 years I know what gluten free means" and then said she has a customer and had to go. Being that my partner has celiac, we probably will not visit.
