We've driven past Pho Bay many times and when we went and did the Georgetown Loop, we knew we had to stop in for lunch. I love when you walk in they have coloring books and crayons for kids to pick from. Our toddler was excited when he saw a Mickey Mouse one and grabbed it. We sat down and we all ordered different things. We had a group of 6. Some of us got pho, pad Thai and noodle bowl. Food came out decently fast. Our toddler was getting a little antsy. So I finished my meal quickly and walked him across the street to a nearby park. (A plus for parents on a nice day!) so everyone else got to enjoy their meals in peace without a fussy toddler. It was good. And I am happy there's a spot for Asian food in Georgetown. I know if we are ever in the area, we will stop in again. read more

Pho Bay is a nice lunch option in Georgetown, especially on a nice day where you can enjoy the outdoor seating. We chose a shaded table right along the railing where we could see and hear the creek running by. Our server did his best to be prompt, as he was covering a lot of tables. The menu had a good selection of Vietnamese dishes, but the prices seemed a little high compared to what I'm used to. Both the noodle bowl and the pad thai were $19.95. Our appetizer of fried dumplings were at least $11.95, if not $13.95. The quality of the food was good, though. The dumplings were hot and crispy and had great flavor. I had the pad thai and was a little disappointed in the sauce. It was pretty sweet. I did take advantage of the container of chili sauce on the table to spice it up. The noodles in my dish were cooked perfectly. My boyfriend had the noodle bowl and was sad to see that it came with only two shrimp, along with the chicken and I think the other meat was pork. All of the other toppings in the bowl were fresh and he said the spring roll on the side was crunchy and flavorful. They have a gravel parking lot right next to the restaurant and single stall bathrooms for each gender. read more

I will say the herbs that came with the pho weren't very fresh which bothered me, but I find that most pho places in Colorado have this issue. Surprised to find a Vietnamese place in this tiny town. The pho was on par with what I've had in Vietnamese restaurants in Los Angeles and Houston, which is saying a lot. The broth was spicier than expected, possibly due to jalapeño or black pepper. A small size pho, combination meat option, was more than enough for my dinner. Lovely patio out next to the creek with string lights. My partner got a vermicelli bowl, which he enjoyed - note this style of noodle is usually served at room temperature. Servers were nice. The resturant uses illegal fabuloso type (extreme scented) cleaning products on the tables that the guests eat off of. This is against health code and can cause severe health issues for some individuals. They spray this in the air at the tables contaminating peoples meals and fresh air. This is not food safe practices and i wonder how many other codes they are breaking! They also do not understand allergens or cross contamination at all. I asked for an allergen free meal and they said they could do this. They brought out the food with my allergen in it, quickly replaced it but I am curious if they just rinsed off the seafood and gave me new broth because i was still getting hints of the allergen with my new bowl. read more

Been here 6-7 times over the years, last go around the meats tasted like fridge or freezer, also most of the dish was pretty cool or cold, especially the meats. In addition the gristle within the beef and pork was very much an issue, kinda tough like beef jerky most of the pieces. Overall the quality was about as low as you could go, I wouldn't eat the food for free let alone desire to pay for it again. One of our group stated she had stomach issues and this is all she ate that day... Some advice, Quality over quantity, that's how businesses should prioritize it, if you know you cant deliver a quality product you should close and fix whatever needs fixing to get back to normal operating. Normally Pho Bay is OK, like 6.7-7/10 range which is pretty good for a tourist spot, but I think we will skip from here on out. read more

The pho restaurant with the most beautiful view I have ever seen. It's by a creek and surrounded by mountains. The prices are higher than regular Pho restaurants, but it's understandable because I don't think it's easy to buy Pho ingredients in a small town like this. Large pho bowl is not too large. The building is a great find and worth going for dinner. It is a pleasure to find Pho in the small mountain town of Georgetown. Went to the Georgetown Railroad Loop and while driving there I was surprised to see the pho sign. After our train ride, my dad and I were trying to figure out what to eat for lunch and we thought of this pho spot. This was the perfect lunch we could've had. What an incredible find this was. Some friends and I were coming down from a motorcycle ride over Quanella Pass and were looking for a place to eat in Georgetown that had parking for motorcycles that we didn't have to park and walk a block or two. I was absolutely shocked to see this beautiful place with lots of open parking attached to the building. I'm a complete pho junkie and I was thrilled to spot this place. The building is absolutely beautiful and there is even a small creek the babbles by past the building. We chose to sit on the patio so we could see and the creek and listen to the relaxing sound. The man that took our order was pleasant, fast and efficient. Our food came out in ten minutes or so and was piping hot, fresh and tasty. I ordered the shrimp pho as well as some shrimp spring rolls. My friend that stopped with me ordered a medium meatball and steak pho. He got both broth and I ordered vegetable broth. We ate our meal and relaxed next to the stream and simply enjoyed being alive. The interior decor of this place is clean, pleasant to look at and has a wonderful bar. This place was a complete hit in all areas. If you enjoy pho as much as I do, give this place a try. After spending the morning hiking at nearby Silver Dollar and Murray Lake, my hiking companion and I found ourselves in desperate need of sustenance. On our way to the trailhead, we noticed Pho Bay and were intrigued. So we made our way there to give them a try. ++ With is being a rather cool summer day, we chose to sit on the patio. Great choice since not only is it pup friendly, but it's adjacent to Clear Creek. Couldn't check-in because I couldn't get any service yesterday, 7/30. Came here after a very long day of hiking to try this place out. We were hungry. My two girlfriends got the same pho and I got the grilled pork rice plate. One of the girls said her pho was a little tough and softened enough. They said the broth was okay and thought the pho was just ok. My grilled pork was not very flavorful. The flavor was a little lacking. Ambiance is casual and they are located right next to a river with outside patio seating. Place is cute. Service and waiter was great. Food is okay for a place in the mountains. Place got busy right after we received our orders. So, I guess there are lots of locals who enjoys this place on top of some tourists too. Anyways, come and support this place. Driving back to Denver after the holiday weekend, we decided to stop in Georgetown for food. We saw signs for Pho Bay and tried to pull it up by GPS, but had no wifi. However, the town isn't that big so we found it quickly. It's not within eyesight after getting off the highway, but if you take the first right at the roundabout it'll be a ways down on the left! The parking lot is pretty small, but there is an overflow lot across the street. Pho Bay has the best location in town when it comes to scenery. The views are great and filled with the beauty of the outdoors. They have seating inside and outside, which was great on this particular summer day. Being fair skinned, however, we decided to eat inside which was just as great. Walking in the establishment I couldn't help but notice the beautiful bar top and the décor of the place. It's very beautiful, comfortable and homey. The staff are welcoming and although it was getting incredibly busy they still made sure that we were doing good and were constantly on the move. The food is flavorful and neatly plated. I went with the stir fry lemongrass chicken fried rice and wowww! So much goodness in every bite and there were flavors that I haven't experienced before. I found that the portion sizes were perfect, not outrageous and not too small. If you're in town, Pho Bay will have your heart! read more

We stopped here as we were told this place is amazing. The Pho was ok, it was a little sweet in taste. The small was perfect size. What I will recommend is the Lycee martini. It's now my new fav. The service is good, but the Pho and Bahn Mi sandwich need a little more love. We may be a little bias though as we have been to Vietnam and always compare. Pho Bay is one of the best spots in Georgetown to stop for a bite to eat. If it's nice outside I recommend sitting on their patio along the river. I stopped in yesterday after leaf peeping with my mom to grab some food. We started with pork and shrimp spring rolls which were delicious! Generously portioned with huge shrimp and tasty pork. My mom ordered a noodle bowl with beef. She really enjoyed it. I got a small rare steak pho and it was delicious! The small size was perfect, I would imagine a medium or large would need to be shared or for a large appetite. I've never had a bad meal here and always look forward to stopping in. I've been here I think 3 times. Food, Service and Ambiance have always been very good. The Pho is great! I've had the spring rolls, salt and pepper tofu, shrimp pad thai, vegetable fried rice, all very good. When they say spicy they mean it, so use caution if necessary! My husband and I traveled last weekend from Rifle Colorado to Georgetown to go to the Christmas market. We couldn't find parking so we decided to eat here. My husband got pho what she said was mediocre and tasted like a packet from the Asian market... I got the lemongrass chicken noodle bowl which was very bland and overpriced.. The only good thing I had there were the spring rolls and the Thai tea boba.. when I got back to my hotel later that night, I was so sick that I was on the toilet every 3 minutes all night long.. I immediately knew it was from this restaurant because that's all I ate. I've never been so sick with food poisoning in my life!!
