Sweet and Sour Shrimp, Sweet and Sour Sauce, White Rice as they ran out of the fried rice that they failed to tell the customer.

Went in to order sweet and sour shrimp. Ordered fried rice, asked cashier if she got the fried rice she said yes. Went to my destination to eat. Seen that instead of fried rice i got white rice. Guess they were out of fried rice. They should tell customers when they only have white rice. This was on February 5,2021. So if you get there to order fried rice, make sure they have it or else they'll give you white rice instead and not tell you that they are out of fried rice.

During a recent trip to Georgia my husband and I were out and about exploring when we happened to come across this little restaurant. We weren't particularly wanting or looking Chinese but when we drove by we both got the instant craving. There is not much to advertise the restaurant and if you're not from the area it's easy to just drive past and not even know this place exist. China Wok is in the Bi-rite shopping center with ample parking. The area doesn't strike me as super busy, so I was surprised to see how much foot traffic they get, though most people call in and pick up their orders. There are a couple of tables set up inside, but like I said I don't know how many people actually dine in. Pictures of the menu items are posted on the wall behind the counter. They offer a good array of dishes from the typical orange chicken to curry and chow meins. Much like the rest of the patrons my husband and I ordered our food to got. We decided on the Szechuan beef, curry beef and shrimp fried rice. We had a bit of a drive and we were surprised that the food held well and was still pretty warm when we finally got home. Considering the region, the food wasn't too bad. The Szechuan beef had a nice amount of meat and it wasn't chewy. The vegetables were crisp and the sauce flavor was mild but still had a good taste. The curry chicken was also good, though for me the scent of curry was stronger than the actual taste. I was expecting a stronger curry flavor so in that sense it was a bit lacking. The shrimp fried rice was decent enough. It had a few shrimp but the rice was a bit dry. Overall, if we find ourselves in the Chatsworth area again and have a craving for Chinese we'll probably stop in. But given that it's about an hours drive from our place, it's unlikely that we will make the drive, the food is just not that spectacular.

Being from north east and living in Georgia it's hard to find a Chinese restaurant like the ones back home. China Wok is about 15 miles out of my way but it's so very worth it. I recommend china wok, prices are comparable with other Chinese restaurants. They have a nice selection of side dishes and entrees, the staff was friendly and the place is clean.

Love their shrimp egg foo young and Singapore noodles in brown sauce. We keep coming back and cannot move away from those items.

One table was occupied so we were seated quickly. Our server was friendly but very hurried, making us feel rushed. Given we had not been, we needed more time than we felt comfortable taking to decide. We ordered the General Tao's Chicken as well as dumplings for an appetizer. The cook was not as hurried as the server and we did wait for longer than one would expect with only two tables in use. The plating made the food look good, but the taste just did not reach the level we had hoped to find. There was not much taste to the sauce on the chicken nor the heat we've become accustomed to when eating General Tso's Chicken. There was no spice at all. The dumplings were the only redeeming factor for this meal. We decided we will stick with the other Asian restaurant in town. Would go back if friends insisted on going, but this is not a place we are inclined to visit on our own.

I personally prefer it thicker and chunkier with more ginger flavor. The fried rice was a little bland, and the white sauce wasn't quite what I'm used to. That said, the service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was very clean, which I really appreciated. I'd give it a solid 4 stars!
