I'm confused by the negative reviews. We got a large take-out order on New Year's Eve. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. It's definitely a "hole in the wall" but the food is delicious and the portions are HUGE. Be sure to get the mini spring rolls - 10 in one order and they are great. read more

I really enjoyed it I believe I had a couple of times because my dad loves their food he ordered the chicken fried rice egg rolls egg foo yung and general Tao chicken I think with the vegetables didn't had it it was so much food he bought and got me full but I did love the egg rolls really good and chicken fried rice only a few the sweet and sour chicken was delicious the sauces was totally different than the one I liked at china wok and wok & roll but it was solid good enjoyed it I mean y'all been in the business for a very long time still got it too very very good I can't wait to next time when my dad buys again there to try the fried chicken nuggets and the Pu Pu platter they look so good in the menu he got from y'all so yeah can't wait keep it up you guys one of the best for sure read more

Ordered two lunch specials here on New Year's Day. - Chicken tasted very funky & my husband got food poisoning within about 3 hours after eating from here. He ordered General Tso With an egg roll, & I ordered the orange chicken with an egg drop soup. My chicken tasted old with sauce & the soup tasted very bland. Don't know what other people's complications are. I have never had an issue with this place, whether it was a pick up or a delivery. As a matter of fact it's the only one I'll order from anymore. This is the only Chinese food restaurant that I'll eat at because it reminds me of a place back home. In the food is wonderful but wouldn't really make me upset today was that I was under the impression when you get food delivered. They deliver it to you. I stay on the 3rd floor and Unable to walk I have crutches but I mean it's three flights of stairs. The delivery driver called me and told me he was outside. I told him how I just got out of surgery and that I stay on the third floor. He proceeded to say that he was out front so after about 10 minutes of trying to go down the stairs on crutches. I was finally about to get my food. It was even more painful going back up the stairs on crutches with a heavy bag of food in my hand. quite unprofessional from a delivery driver. I wish I could describe my hatred for this place. I got so sick about 4-5 hours after I attempted to pick out what was edible. After about 4-5 hours of having an upset stomach I vomited. Then I proceeded to vomit throughout the night. The following day the sickness moved down south for a couple of days. I swear that I cannot remember having a worse reaction to food besides an allergic reaction. Not only was the food subpar but their service was down right terrible and unprofessional. I ordered 2 plates of the combination Orange Chicken that were priced at $7.25 for delivery to Fort Sill. They took 45 minutes from the time I placed my order to deliver my food. Then they procited to charge me $30 for a less than $20 order. Seems like they enjoying leeching off of people's money to have a more than generous tip for themselves. Avoid this place they don't deserve your business. read more

But I have a huge complaint about the delivery service, our deli every man, while very nice, smelled so pungently of cigarette smoke that the smell of smoke was on the bag, styrofoam containers, and food. First time I ever ordered from Hot Wok...and it was great. I had the combination lo mein and it was hands-down the best I've had in Lawton. Better than the other two "popular" places we have! The fried wontons (potstickers) were good too. I'll definitely be back. Don't let the negative reviews scare you off. I ordered pickup and it was ready in less than the 10 minutes they told me on the phone. Is it a great place to sit and enjoy a meal? Probably not. It doesn't look all that great inside. This is the worst Chinese food I have had. There is a lot of food when you order, but it isn't prepared properly and taste bland. My whole family feels sick every time. That's it, I'm done ordering from this place. I have ordered delivery at least 4 times from here and have never once been pleased with the food. Everything lacks flavor and it tastes very bland. The fried rice is yellow and clearly not fried at all. I've ordered the Kung Pao Chicken, Szechuan beef, and General Tso chicken and they were all terrible. The only place I go for Chinese food reminds me of the Chinese food we would get on the east coast it may not be for everyone's taste but if you like Chinese food in cities like NYC this is the place for you. I ordered the TSO chicken with fried rice, Chicken wings, and Won-ton soup. The soup was very blan. The TSO chicken was very plain tasting and the wings were sort of ok tasting. They were cooked thoroughly. The combo rice was rather dry and the soy sauce couln't even help it. I could have just bought some food from the vending machine near the duty desk and been just as satisfied. You may think I am picky about the taste and am judging them really harsh because of the very plain taste of the food. General tso's was too spicey and had almost no flavor the "fried" rice wasn't brown or yellow but it was an appetizing off white hue and had about as much flavor as the rice had color. Only reason I gave more than one star was because the beef (or lack there of) lo mein which was almost only noodles and no beef was actually decent. Had the General Tso and Sesame Chicken with crab ragoons. The chicken was good but could've had fresher batter. Kind of tasted a little stale. The crab ragoons were cold and hard. I understand with the delivery process though. It's one of those generic cream cheese ones with no real crab in it. It was the generic fried rice also. More of yellow rice with peas and carrots. I will be ordering later tonight though and hopefully it'll be a better experience!! Overall average Chinese at best for now. read more

Absolutly aweful! My food was two hours late, cold when it arived, half my order was missing and the other half was either wrong or burnt. I was charged double for the order and the driver refused to give me the receipt. Both the person who answered the phone and the driver were incrediably rude. This is the last time I ever eat from here. After gettting overpriced, cold, burnt, food I didnt order and not having the food i DID order, handed to me by a rude delivery driver, Ive had enough. I would never recomend this place to anyone and will actively discourage anyone else from the battery from suffering the same fate I endured. And Im not even the first person to complain about this. We ordered the beef pepper steak, sesame chicken, general tso chicken and wonton soup. The General tso and sesame chicken could have stood to have a little less breading, but overall it was good. They are a standard mom and pop Chinese restaurant. I was stationed at Fort Sill and often times didn't have a lot of time to wait around for food. They always had prompt delivery, and very large portions. Sure, it wasn't the best Chinese food, but it hit the spot for sure! read more

I've never actually been inside, I usually get it delievered while I'm on staff duty. They are a bit slow getting the food to me but the food always arrives fresh and hot. I think it's the best chinese in Lawton and despite it's slow show times I will continue to order from here and here alone. The Beef sticks are great, they never skimp on the shrimp in my shrimp and broccoli, and the egg drop soup is good too. You can't beat the amount of food for the money at any chinese restuarant in town. read more
