Clean, efficient. 5 total tables. Employees work well together. You have a clear view of a very well-kept kitchen. No fountain beverages but a good selection of cans. Almond cookies for the win! Onto the food! I got general tso's tofu, and egg foo young. They serve real sticky rice, and the up charge of $1.50 for fried rice is completely worth it. The fried rice is an absolutely beautiful, saffron/turmeric yellow, and has delicious flavor with a nice healthy sprinkling of veggies and egg. The sticky rice is everything it should be. I'm going to say hands-down this is as good as or better than the Chinese place of my childhood in Cleveland. The egg fu young was fresh and fluffy and not greasy and filled with delicately cooked veggies. The sauce delicious with an aromatic hint of 5 spice. And while I ordered mildly spicy, for the general tso's tofu, it came out no spicy. I would recommend mild spicy. They do do tofu the right way it's firm and chewy and an excellent meat substitute. While fried it is not greasy and manages to be both chewy and Light to the tooth. It seems I've become used to the stale oil taste of not so great Chinese food places. But this was just absolutely delightful with none of that weird back flavor. Despite having forgotten my almond cookies, which I plan to go back for, I would absolutely eat here on a regular basis without hesitation and even bring friends and family out to eat or bring it home for dinner on the regular if I lived closer. Did the honey chicken and the "crab" rangoons. I'll pass on the honey chicken next time; too much breading and also did not care for the fried rice. The honey sauce was good though, just had to remove the excess breading from the chicken. The rangoons were hot and tasted good for fried sweet cream cheese, but to say that there is crab in them is not accurate. I should be able to detect some of the crab in the filling. The last two times I have ordered from here have been less than stellar and for $20+ the quality does not match the price. read more

I checked this place out as I just moved by here. They are only doing takeout orders right now, but you can call ahead or place an order online which is convenient! They are pretty quick, but during their busy dinner hours you might be waiting a bit. The first time I ordered beef and broccoli and it was delicious! The portions are big and I made it into two meals. The second time I got the chicken pad thai. I was not a big fan. The noodles were very soggy and the entire meal was very red. The third time I got general tsao's chicken combo meal...there wasn't any vegetables at all which from my personal experience, you typically get at least broccoli. The chicken was a very bright color of red - more than usual. The combo meal comes with your choice of an egg roll or crab rangoon. I would recommend not getting the crab rangoon because you literally get just one. We were disappointed. I will say their wonton soup is tasty! read more

I always forget to take a picture because the food is so good. I know it's going to be good and so true to nature here we are. As the majority of the city, I have been very sick and the only thing I wanted after nine days was the hot and sour soup With a side of eggroll. Absolutely delicious the soup hit the spot not too spicy it was perfection. The eggroll was amazing and it was my own fault for ordering it and consuming it. It was worth the grumble in my tummy for too much food. My daughter and son-in-law, this is their go to place and when we have a family get together and Momma isn't cooking then China Wok is!!! I had time and spare change to experience this place. It was very clean inside, modern but warm traditional balance. Greeted by staff, very friendly. I can see the kitchen and it was clean and busy. First thing I noticed was large menu above with traditional foods I grew up with. Many are dishes made for Americans and not found in Asia but it was still created by Asians and have unique tastes associated with Asian food. All the food was cooked to order. I noticed there is no fountain drinks so no refills. All drinks are bottle soda. Bought mine to go. Once home five minutes later, the food is still hot. Fully cooked and taste alright. My only issue is no utensils, napkins or plates. If eating at work, this is an issue. I'm not sure if this is just a mistake or the norm. Just something to pay attention to. Their online service was down but they never answered the phone either so I made the track in person to place my order and after it was all said and done this was an utter disappointment. * Took 30 mins for our order to be ready. I'll be honest, not in my life time have I ever ordered Chinese food that ever took this long to prepare. * Truly one of the rudest establishments I've visited in quite some time. * The building was filthy and not clean what-so-ever. The rice was yellow kind of like it had some turmeric in it and really good and the general says chicken was cooked excellently and the meat portion was very generous. I was in Grove City for the evening and wanted Chinese food and found this place via Yelp. I liked the reviews and thought I'd give it a try. In fact, I was quite excited to try, as another reviewer stated, "the best Chinese in Grove City." Unfortunately, this was not my experience. I ordered General Tso's chicken and I will say I did not have any "chewy" pieces, but overall for $12, it was just OK. The sauce was super sweet, with no spice. While they have the best moo goo gai pan I've ever tasted I must say the war sue gai was a big disappointment. First the mggp.. I loved the flavor of the sauce and variety of veggies. As for the wsg... the chicken was thin and dry, and it resembled processed chicken rather than lean thick breast. The crunchy batter was thick and overwhelmed the scarce chicken. Parts were dry and tough to chew. The gravy had a sweetness to it that I didn't care for. It was thick and slightly brownish and sorta bland, not like the yellow gravy I have become accustomed to. There was no lettuce, nor green onions, as it is usually served with. I will go back for the mggp for sure. My other half loved the general tso chicken "best ever". Overall I think this is pretty good Chinese food but the next time I want war sue gai I will visit China Bell as they have it perfected, in my opinion. read more

I ordered at 6:40pm and was told 40 minutes. The order was ready at 7:35pm, almost an hour. The Wor-Sur Gai was awful. It was a clamshell of fried chicken pieces and then a cup of the egg sauce. That's it. No lettuce, no other flavorings just yuk yuk sauce. The chicken was not like real chicken breast. It was like a pressed stringy mass with no flavor. Okay this is my first review. Eating here is The only reason I signed up. I ordered 1 pork egg roll Bourbon chicken with fried rice Steamed dumplings And chicken lo mein My husband liked the bourbon chicken, since the place at Tuttle Mall closed, he's been looking for a replacement. The rice is... yellow, doesn't seem fried, it was actually wet, and despite not having any mushrooms had that nasty earth dirt taste to it. The Lo Mein also, no mushrooms, had the same weird dirty earth taste. Which I'm not a fan of. I could smell that dirt/earth smell when the food got in the car and that should have been my first warning. The dumplings were also just gross, the dumpling part was super thick and weird, and the filling didn't taste or look good. I ate one bite out of 1/6 dumplings. Most of this food made its way to the garbage can like 20 mins after we got home. Did not enjoy, would not eat here ever again or recommend it to anyone else. Go pay a few more bucks up the road for China Bell. read more

This is the best Chinese food I've had in Grove City this far. I ordered shrimp egg foo young, moo goo gai pan, house fried rice and ribs pieces. I liked that the sauce for the egg foo young was not too salty like other places. The rice was not dry and it was filled with lots of shrimp and chicken etc. The egg rolls were very good and the crab ragoons had a nice amount of filling in them. If I had one negative it would be that we did not receive any soy sauce etc in the bag as it was a togo delivery order. Luckily I have a condiment drawer at home. read more
