I know all food prices have increased. But the pickup order my wife and I get every time have double in cost since 2021( I have a menu) what was around $20 is now close to $50. Moved to the lithopolis area in October. I wanted to try some Chinese food in the area. Wow was I suprised with the taste, texture at times questioning should I eat this. I've not ordered from Dragon China for a couple of years. I picked up an order of Sesame Chicken and and an egg roll today and all I can say is -- it was disgusting. It tasted overcooked, dried out, clumped together like it was day old and reheated with an odd tomato sauce. Even the egg roll was overcooked. i won't be back. read more

Best restaurant I have ever been to in my life. When I started working at Kroger, for my lunches I wanted to try them out and ever since I got one bit in, IVE BEEN HOOKED! The food is fresh and tasty and when it's crunchy ITS CRUNCHY. I also love seeing the people there. I like how they guess what I'm going to order right when I approach em. They are kind and talented. Dragon China is slightly better than average Chinese. It looks like any ordinary strip mall Chinese restaurant but there's a surprise. The portions are fucking humongous. It's more than enough for a couple of people. The restaurant has inside seating but it's mostly for takeout. I had the bean curd. It's about $7 for the lunch portion. The size of this was massive and it's way too much for many people. It's good if you want leftovers. The tofu is cooked to a point of being firm without being overcooked. It had some really good sauce that was mild. The food may have taken a bit longer compared to other Chinese restaurants but that means they actually cooked it to order. If you're around Canal Winchester looking for good cheap Chinese go to Dragon China. It's pretty average looking but don't be turned off. Mostly overlooked I think especially since Panda Express went in across gender road. Great small community family business. They are very accommodating with special orders. Spring rolls are perfect every time. Shrimp and chicken lomein are great general Tso's although an American dish is fantastic the sea same chicken is great as well. My wife always gets beef and broccoli they do not over cook their veggies the broccoli is almost always crisp in all of their dishes. I dig this little Chinese takeout joint a ton. General Tso's made with quality chicken you say? They've got it. Egg rolls that don't leave you wondering "what is this filling?" They've got those too. As with most takeout places, the quality can vary quite a bit. Sometimes the Sesame Chicken is rad, and sometimes it's tough and weird tasting. Sometimes the fried rice tastes like fried rice, and sometimes it tastes like overdone steamed rice. This place is definitely way better than average. We have been going there for over 20 years, and this last order was the worst ever, surprising ,since it was right when they opened. We ordered the General tso, and hu nan chicken neither was spicey at all, the General tso's was over fried and the chicken was like chewing, jerky,the lo mein had over cooked noodles and the meat was slimey. The young man taking orders yesterday is very systematic. however up charges with out explaining why and he up-charges all the time! however when I asked for fried rice he gave me something they don't usually give me when I order fried rice. Normally it is pork fried rice he gave me plain fried rice that isn't on the menu. however he always screws up my order, however gives me an number but doesn't use that when you pick up. Found this little gem of a place by chance, but boy I'm glad I did! It's pretty much your typical fast food Chinese, with the exception of their general tsos chicken and Hot and sour soup, which are above average, DELECTABLE! Fried rice is good as are their egg rolls, but nothing spectacular. It's that General tso's that's got me completely hooked... I judge most Chinese places on one thing, hot and sour soup. Being new to the area, I was one happy girl to discover Dragon China has great soup AND other stuff. I'm in love with the cold sesame noodles. They have a spicy peanut sauce, noodles and crunchy fresh vegetables. The Singapore Chow Mei Fun noodles are delicious if you're a curry fan. I'm excited to try new things, especially the pad Thai and other spicy dishes. My takeout orders are accurate, affordable and on time. That's all I really want for a Chinese food joint. Was driving home the other day and decided I would order Chinese takeout since I was passing through Canal Winchester. The young man who took my order was very clear, concise, and polite. (Hey, ordering Chinese is sometimes hard to do with language barriers a lot of times, so good English is a major plus!) The inside of the store is your typical small family run Chinese restaurant. We ordered two lunch combos for $5.15 a piece. Portion size and food was very good. Unlike a previous poster for this establishment, 'Ol 1 Review Pete who said the food needed to be more spicy, I ordered the General Tso's Chicken. For a Chinese takeout spot, their food is good quality and delicious. Not super greasy and it doesn't taste too salty. I do wish they hadn't changed their fried rice though, it's now plain fried rice and no veggies in it. I love how crispy their crab Rangoon is and flavorful but they don't put any imitation crab meat. Other than that, I've been coming to this place for years. We just moved here and needed a quick Chinese food fix. The portion size is small compared to our favorite spot back home but I have became addicted to their crab ragoons! They are soooooo yummy! The General Tso's shrimp was excellent! This is not the most common dish to find at Chinese restaurants but it is one of my favorites. Nice portion sizes (my fellow diners who ordered the lunch comb plats for five dollars were thrilled with how much soup they got). Everything was fresh and hot and the food had an extra bit of quality to it that definitely put it above many take out Chinese places. My only complaint was that they offered bottles and cans and didn't have a soda fountain. Even the water was bottled. I'm someone who likes to drink a lot of water with my meal, so I was a bit disappointed that I was going to have to pay by the bottle. Nice, clean place, great selection, and reasonable prices. My family has gotten take out several times now and every single time its perfect. The place is incredibly clean. The food is not greasy, it doesnt even smell greasy in the restaurant. Special orders were taken with no hassles, service was very friendly. The meat in all the chicken and beef dishes we've tried has been lean. When my husband orders things extra spicy they actually make it that way. I would 100% recommend this place! This used to be our go to for Chinese food but this place has totally changed for the worse!! Waited 35 minutes for what I can only describe as greasy, burnt slop. The Wor Sue Gai chicken was burnt black in 2 orders but not crispy at all!! It had a greasy, soggy, wet texture. The Crab Rangoon was so overcooked that most of the filling was cooked away. There were massive pieces of orange peel in the orange chicken, as big as the chicken itself. We were given whole orders of chicken fried rice instead of the usual side because the lady misunderstood fried rice in place of white rice, therefore, we were way overcharged!!! The rice itself was tasteless. I should have known something had changed when I took the brown bag out of the plastic bag and it was literally saturated in grease. Yet, when I called I was reassured that it was the same staff and their ingredients and cooking methods were the same. To top it off and most importantly, they refused to make anything right or admit any issues because no one else had complained today!!! The only thing they would offer was for me to bring the meals back in and they would swap them for the right size. This was after I told them that the food was horrible and I have no intention of eating it ever again. Why should I go out of my way when I did nothing wrong.
