Great customer service and really attentive.... even tought me how to pronounce something on my fortune cookie in Chinese(I forgot it smh lol) I will say we where there on a Sunday, so it was pretty empty and it was early in the day. **While waiting for food and during eating... the Door Dash & Uber Eats kept coming in picking up orders...so we have to count that as a PLUS PLUS lol. They have televisions, sushi/bar seating table and booth seating, also outside seating. I didn't use the restroom... so not able to help you there. Let's get into the food... yummy, yummy, yummy!! They started us off with a dipping sauce and some fried wonton strips, while we looked over the menu. My son had sweet tea, he said it was fine(whatever that means) lol. Rundown of our eats... Edemama(nice amount) Panfried Dumplings(could have drained off some of the oil) which came out pipping hot and flavorful, the sauce was really really good. Sushi okay, but Chinese food not great. Hunan chicken had shrimp shells in it. Restaurant offered partial refund, but has to talk to two manager and menufy twice and still not refunded correct amount. Worth it to go elsewhere for sushi and definitely Chinese food! I've been wanting some good shrimp fried rice for a few days searched Yelp this place had good reviews plus they're close by. I ordered online for a 7 pm pickup, the message stated I would be notified but I wasn't no biggie I hopped in my car to pickup around 7ish. I walked in was immediately greeted by the hostess, she was very nice plus my order was ready. It's a Wednesday night so they weren't crowded, the inside was nice with lots of seating. Pretty good. I ordered online for pickup. I will say I was surprised that we only received one small container of rice for three entrees. And they charged $1.00 for that container of rice. At every other Chinese restaurant on the planet, rice is included with each entree, and fried is an option for a small up charge. Online app also charges a $1.00 "convenience" fee. This used to be my go to place till they were bought by a new owner. I always get the moo goo gi pan. Well we went to tonight and they had changed the dish completely. I have severe allergies and always ordered it without white pepper. It came out with chili oil in it. I sent it back and asked for no spice. The chef was mad and still put chile oil in it. I've been a loyal customer of Royal Stix for years until tonight. There's an BOGO promotion going on. I submitted my order as per the promotion requirements but was charged the full amount. When I went to the restaurant to pickup the order, I pointed the issue out to the manager. He told me that because the order was placed online he could not and would not credit me the amount for the "free" item. He then proceeds to show me receipts from other customers where the promotion was honored correctly. I again questioned why I couldn't receive the credit being that this is an advertisement promotion on the Royal Stix website. I was told a third party advertises for them and there's nothing he could do. This is straight BS and poor customer service! I will not spend my hard earned money again with Royal Stix. You will be subject to their interpretation, and judging by the manager/owners arrogance he will not accommodate you in any way when the order is not to your liking and expectations. It's hit or miss with Royal Stix! I like that they have so many options but my last visit was a big miss My daughter is allergic to shrimp. I was so pumped I tasted it in the car but was let down immediately because it was extremely bland. So I planned to add more sauce when I get home but what was more disappointment. This is some of the best Asian food in the area by far. The prices are average and one of the perks is delivery is available. When ordering through the app, I have noticed that many things get left off, especially in the notes section. Whether it's asking for a particular sauce or leaving something out, the website they use to take orders always seems to mess them up. I would recommend as a tip to call in your order so that it does not get messed up through the service they use to take online orders. The delivery staff and service staff are absolutely amazing. The food is delicious, but realized that they are basically scamming customers with a $1 fee for white rice that supposed to come with the dish. I looked through old receipts and they've done that many times on our pick up orders. PLEASE CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!! They are banking off of people like me not checking receipts carefully.
