So. This is not a sit down restaurant. This is a go to Chinese pick up for your standard menu meal. My location is close by in a strip mall. I love delivery but so many businesses? They're needing to use 3rd party and it adds too much for my budget. I have my favorites in the guilty pleasures department. I like to stretch my order and happily take leftover rice and add my own fresh vegetables for a boost. It's not fine dining. It's straight up what I'm looking for in my gotta have my Chinese fix. The staff are working hard and? to watch them at it behind the plexiglass- open kitchen. The young lady who takes orders and $? Absolutely amazing. Juggling all with patience and a smile. Love watching the wok/ and chef's on the line. People watching while short wait if you call ahead or slightly longer if it's prime time and you didn't plan? Excellent and? I'm a chat person who knows when to read a room. I enjoy the community feel. Or? Wait in your car if that's not your jam. But you're missing some quality human connection imho. I have my sit down/ order a beverage or wanting a more expensive and expansive menu- and price tag option. That's not China Wok category nor price point. For straight up favorite old school Chinese? Tried delivery last night for this place. Typical Chinese food, some great, some good and some bad. Here's what I note: - Teriyaki chicken on a stick - best thing eaten by a long shot. Tender thigh meat, basted and cooked well. It was tender, moist, easy to chew and the flavor rocked. I would order this just as a meal next time. - Sesame Chicken with pork fried rice - negative = yellow rice. Fresh fried rice is always better and I'm not a huge fan of the yellow stuff. In addition, about 20 percent of the rice grains were not fully cooked and were still al dente (chalky, crunchy center). Chicken was glazed well, tender and included a decent sized portion. It was good but not blow you away kinda good. - Beef and broccoli - this was my wife's dish. She stated the overall flavor was bland and her steamed rice was a little dry. In her own words? "I was not impressed with the 'Wok." - Egg Rolls - Not bad. I actually liked these. Good crunch with adequate filling. - Spring Rolls - Tasted like soap or a canned ginger inside that made me take one bite, spit it out and threw it away. No, thank you. I ordered from there today for the first time and the food was horrible. The crab Rangoon's had fake crab inside with too much sugar and they were very watery. The spring roll was not even a spring roll. It was a cabbage roll. The only thing worth eating was the rice and the chicken wing. Everything else was horribly bad. WARNING! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! ROTTEN FOOD! REUSES PREVIOUS SENT FOOD! This is the worst Chinese food I have ever had in my life! I ordered delivery; it took over an hour, but that's not even the problem! I ordered fried chicken wings and chicken fried rice. The fried chicken is NOT the Chinese fried chicken you get literally any where else. It's bland, has no salt, was undercooked, and dry. How do you do that? I ordered garlic wings and shrimp fried rice. Instead we got chicken wings tossed in General Tso sauce and again under cooked. The cream cheese wontons had more of a consistency like mayonnaise and tasted all wrong. I don't know if they're adding something to stretch out the cream cheese, if it had gone bad, or what's in it, but NO. It's disgusting. The Chinese donuts were greasy balls of fried dough with NOT 1 crystal of sugar. Lastly, the shrimp egg foo young was the worst! The gravy that comes with it was so spoiled you could smell it. How do you send out something like that that you can clearly smell is bad? I called as soon as I realized the stuff was rotten, but before I realized how horrible everything else was. The manager (at least that's who I was told I was speaking with)said they'd send me a replacement as long as I sent back the rancid food. Okay fine. Yet, after waiting over another hour and no one showing up I called back to tell them about the rest of the food(not sure, but it sounded like they were laughing in the background)so I told them I didn't want a replacement or anything from them. About 30 minutes later I get a call from the delivery driver. The driver is calling to let me know that the tickets were messed up and my order was delivered to the wrong address. The delivery person was at my home before realizing the switch up and drove back to give them their correct order. They were arriving back at the restaurant as we were still on the phone. We spoke for over 20 minutes, I told them how awful the food is, and asked if they eat there. As the driver is talking to me someone from the restaurant (I think the manager)starts talking to them. The manager wanted the driver to go back pick up the food(my replacement order)that was accidentally delivered to the wrong address and then bring it to me. I reiterated that I didn't want it I didn't want anything from them! That just made it so much worse to me! They'll take the food back when they make a mix up and resale it to another customer! Mind you the driver told me that the distance from that delivery to me is 10 minutes. So they've had the food in their possession for well over 20 minutes by now from just driving from there home to my house and back to them again. This doesn't take into account any other delivery or the time it took the driver to get back to the restaurant. There has to be some law against that. You don't know what happened with that food once it's delivered. To want to pick it up and send it to another customer is plain wrong! They still wanted the driver to go pick up the food even though I said I didn't want it. The driver had to tell them no they weren't going back to ask for the food because the people probably ate it already. Save yourself time, the displeasure, money, and your health! DON'T EAT HERE! Out of everything the 2 orders of fried rice were the only things seemingly edible. I'm hoping we don't get sick. THIS WARNING I'M GIVING EVERYONE COSTED ME $50.29! STAY AWAY! read more

Delicious and very reasonable. We got the cream cheese wontons (oh my goodness so good. I can't have the crab meat so it was very nice to have the wontons with JUST cream cheese ), Chinese doughnuts (I believe this is the only place that sells the doughnuts. So warm, fluffy, and sugary), sweet and sour chicken, sweet and sour pork. Both had the fried rice and the egg rolls. Very good and the sauce was delicious. I've ordered from the China Wok downtown location a few times now and their food is consistently delicious. I highly recommend the vegetable lo mein and cream cheese wontons. You won't be disappointed! I'm a vegetarian and am impressed with the variety of tofu options China Wok has on their menu. I've tried a few different versions and so far and they've all been amazing!
