Used to order frequently. My husband ordered and I was having the leftovers. I took a bite of pork spareribs and it was FULL OF HAIR! Usually this menu item is good, but this had a large clump of hair wrapped around the meat. He ordered Sunday, the leftovers were on Monday (they are closed on Mondays) So on Tuesday, I tried to call and have them make it right, I was asked to bring the food back and have them remake the spareribs. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The "hibachi steak" was only beef and broccoli as you can see in the pic. I called to ask for my money back on that one item considering it was $18 after tax for beef in nasty sauce... they said no then called back said it was fine. #1-I was over billed on my credit card. Apparently they added what appeared to be a tip amount that I had not authorized. I am guessing they thought I would not check my bill and they could get by with it. When I called the restaurant to discuss it I was given the run around so I disputed the charge through my credit card company. I am upset with this business for trying to take advantage of me. #2- I use to think the food was good. But it is not as good as it use to be. I could not eat what I ordered. #3-BEWARE. Don't let them overbill you. If you charge your order to a credit card you need to keep your printed receipt and check it against your bill. read more

Awful, just awful. We threw out $26 worth of food it was so bad. Ordered won ton soup that tasted like they just used beef bouillon cubes ( soup was dark brown) and won tons were so hard we couldn't cut through them. Chicken lo Mein was inedible. Save your money and try somewhere else. read more

Fried rice is incredibly bland and boring. I asked for extra spicy and it's not in the least bit. Barely even has a taste to it. I could make that work With hot mustard and soy sauce which I asked for ALOT of and they have zero. Literally not one packet. Dumplings are okay, nothing special. Not much "Yummi" about this place except their fried dumplings. Hot & Sour soup was not spicy & had chucks of pork fat in it. Moo Shu pork was missing the pancakes & plum sauce and was 90% cabbage. In a note I requested dark sauce in the shrimp with lobster sauce and got a $2 up-charge and was given fried rice. Kung Pao 3, I requested only chicken & again note was ignored. It was also missing the tiny corn. I even left a tip. When I talked to the manager she said she would credit me $2 and give me extra pancakes the next time I ordered. Hidden gem, not much to look at but food very good, prices very reasonable, portion very good and they are taking the pandemic serious by keeping contact with public minimal and sanitized . Yummi Yummi may be in a strip mall, but it's not your average Chinese res't for this area. The food is handmade with local ingredients. The menu and plates are eclectic (if it were downtown it would be called fusion). One example: you're more likely to find jalapeño in your meal than Thai red pepper. Another example: The spring rolls & egg rolls aren't the chewy-from-frozen-factory-clones your get most everywhere else. So when you bite into your crispy, flaky roll and notice the ingredients aren't traditional, know that there's a reason! This is the best chinese restaurant in all of wilmington and leland. The cream cheese wontons are to die for, the egg rolls are excellent, and the general Tsou chicken is awesome. We came here by chance one night, and it turned out being really good, so we came back today and it was excellent again. Delicious! Usually order from Jade Garden or Wok and Roll but the food we got from here the other night was far superior to anything I have ever had from the others.
