She started as a pretty shy beginner at age 6 in the ballet program and has grown so much in confidence and technique. The instructors are patient but very knowledgeable, and I really appreciate that they follow the Royal Academy of Dance curriculum so there is a clear structure and progression. I can see that they provide real training rather than just a casual dance class. We also tried their jazz and hip hop classes and loved how organized and age-appropriate everything is. The environment is fun, but you can still tell the students are actually learning proper technique. I also like that the studio is clean and welcoming, and they have clear communication about schedules and progression. The performances are amazing as well. We're very happy to have found a studio in San Gabriel Valley that balances discipline with encouragement.

So, I enrolled him in this street dance class. After a year, he still can't do anything. The teacher probably doesn't even know the basics, like the Thomas spin, yet started teaching others. We've decided to stop wasting time with this useless street dance class. If you want your child to actually learn something, don't come here. If you just want to waste your own and your child's time, feel free to sign up. --------------------------------- Reply to this owner: Obviously, my son has been attending classes with you. You're trying to dodge responsibility by claiming he hasn't. I'll be coming tomorrow to cancel your terrible and useless course. Also, your response will be shared with everyone. Not only do you fail at teaching dance, but your attitude is poor, and you have a habit of shifting blame.

The set was well made and had good props and lighting. The only thing is since there is no assigned seating, the main area gets very crowded quickly whether its the middle or even the side aisles. That leaves the 2nd floor level. It would've been wonderful if all the seats had a good vibe of the stage. But if you were unlucky enough to sit in the seats closest to the stage, you lose sight of what's going on. My recommendation is to arrive early so you can sit in the main hall. Every seat there has a great view of the stage. If you have to sit upstairs, make sure to sit where you have a direct view of the stage. If you end up sitting on the ends, you have an impaired view of the stage and you miss seeing part of what's going on because it is blocked so everyone is leaning forward to try and see what they're missing. Good theater. Nice acoustics. Parking is pretty tight but there is extra available parking at the high school and on the street.

Very inconsistent if you ask me. I sat in on her first class with her new school and I feel very cheated and disappointed. I felt like I've wasted so much money here for over years after comparing the two music academy. The owner is very sweet and nice, but I'm not sure about the instructors. The instructors waste a lot of time before the lesson, and before you even know it, times up. They start late, and finish early. Overall, I'm not happy with this school.

Told them his injuries were worse and we would not be able to attend that lesson. Was charged for the next three weeks but I had told them that night my husband's injuries were worse. Now they will not refund my three weeks of sessions. I would think a medical reason would provide understanding and refund. Not too happy and feeling like now they have my money they couldn't care less. They want to credit my money to future lessons but his finger has to be surgically worked on. Why would be concerned about his next lesson. Horrible customer service. Also when I did communicate with them that my husbands finger was injured before we found out about his surgery the message I got back that was automated says, "(Auto-Reply) We are open for lessons by appointment on the weekends, but the management office is currently closed. We'll reply to all messages by 10am on Monday. Thank you! JFMA" How am I supposed to communicate if I'm getting automated messages telling me they can't be reached till Monday and his lessons were on Saturday mornings . Makes no sense. I was not being negligent in my having to stop music lessons. Good business would factor these variables of life that are not scheduled for a 24 hr notice.

Had to think about my experience in this dance studio because as a non dancer who was genuinely curious about learning some dances, my experience here was less than fortunate. However, lets highlight some positives: 1. The owner Olga and the person on the front desk are really nice. You can tell that the owner is very structured in how she thinks about dance and when she talks to you there is passion in there. 2. The space is amazing and I can tell that they are super serious about dance. My experience however, on my second visit was awful. Again as a background, i have 0 dance experience and was just trying to learn some bachata. However, the instructor who was teaching bachata was literally on one. Basically calling me out infront of the class and highlighting how shit i am and then saying its because she loves everyone in the class that she is doing that. At one point she said some things about the steps and how some of us were doing it wrong and then stopped and looked at me and said, "It's YOU!! You are doing it wrong." Which at that point the class laughed. Seriously, i already know am shit, and am sure every partner knows am shit. That's why I am paying to take the classes, to get better. You know, I have taught a few things and one saying that's well known is "praise in public, criticize in private". I have no intention of become a professional dancer, so maybe a bit of grace might be good and if you have a problem with something i have done, as an instructor, pull me aside and talk to me. I am more than happy to make amends and apologize and have no ego. Anyway, my experience here was less than prime and honestly if it wasnt for Olga, salvaging part of the situation and issuing a refund, i would have gone lower in rating.
