lunch special prices are awesome and you receive a lot of food for the money. I paid around $8 for beef & broccoli, fried rice, shrimp roll and soup. You also receive complimentary fried noodles and fortune cookies. The fried noodles were fried a bit too hard... But they were free lol. The beef and broccoli and fried rice was bland. Will never order from here again! Ordered food from this place the other night on Grub Hub. I asked to have light sauce and the chicken extra crispy on a sesame chicken order. Well, when the order came it was real soupy and not crispy at all. I called to complain, and was never offered a refund or a new order to come out. I was told my next order would be free. I called tonight and ordered expecting my to be free. They asked if I was paying cash and I informed them who I was and that this order was free. They said that only the sesame chicken was free. Let's face it Devon Pa is not the epicenter of Chinese cuisine. While Chinese Delight is nearby, I'd happily drive farther to get better Chinese-American food. Went here in the early evening on a week night. Ordered vegetarian menu of tofu vegetable soup, cold sesame noodles, & tofu with cabbage, bean curd, mushrooms and sauce. The food was absolutely delicious! They brought it out to us as it was done being cooked. The waitress was attentive and pleasant with us. I have been ordering take out from this place for several years. The place is clean, good people and food is very good. They are one of the few Chinese places from where I take out sea food. I have tried almost all the items in the menu over the years and have no complaints. I am a low spice guy and like their chicken fried rice a lot. I will definitely recommend this place for take outs atleast since I have never had a sit in there. read more

My friend recently moved to Wayne and she heard this was the Chinese restaurant to go to. She loved the Hot n Sour Soup , but, was disappointed in the chinese sesame noodles. I had the Vegetarian steamed dumplings and they were homemade and delicious. They give you fresh chinese fried noodles and hot tea, which was fitting on the day we went. The Staff was very nice too. They deliver, which is great as she sometimes wants delivery. I would come back. I think she will too. read more

Simple, good, American Chinese food for a very reasonable price. I had the Hunan beef and hot and sour soup. The hot and sour soup was flavorful. It wasn't the best I've had, but it was above average. The Hunan beef wasn't that spicy. The portion size of the beef was typical, and there was also a generous amount of white rice. read more

Only cause i had to out a star. I ordered from this place on 10/6/15 and the food is normally good, not this day. I ordered the chicken and cashew from the lunch menu. i got a least 25 % threw my food and notice that there was a ROACH in my food, needless to say i threw up my life. Called them and they said that they were sorry and if i wanted something else. This place turned my OFF from Chinese food and eating out all together. There were roaches on the table. Will not and have not gone back there for a few months now. A friend and I used to go to lunch there once a week at least because the food was delicious and cheap, and came out so fast! It was during the winter I think in December when we went, we sat by the radiator, and discovered two baby roaches crawling on the table, they possibly came from the radiator. The waitress came over and killed them. We did not receive a discount, apology, or refund of our food or anything. I finally just signed up for yelp to review another restaurant and I've been meaning to post this warning for a long time. We told all our co-workers and our office refuses to order from them anymore. If you scroll through these reviews you will see a few years ago (maybe in 2010?) that someone actually found a roach in their food. I don't know how this place hasn't been shut down by now for failing inspection. I don't care how good and cheap the food was, my skin crawls when I think about the fact that there were roaches in the dining room. Can you imagine the kitchen? Yuck. read more

We love this place & it's our "go to" ordering-out place "last minute" & when we are in the mood for Chinese food! We always get the spicy pork dish, chicken & veggies in brown sauce, chicken fried rice, pork dumplings, egg rolls, chicken lomein & it's always delicious & consistent! I lived in Wayne until a couple months ago and this was one of our only options for Chinese. We got delivery and ate in occasionally and the staff was friendly and nice. I liked the food but enjoyed it better when we ate in, maybe it was fresher or they wait a while for delivery, but I recommend eating there or picking up. Not many Chinese places have impressed me but this was among the better ones I've had. Also, as a note to the nice staff, we first went here with an Entertainment book coupon, of which we had two books, and after using the coupon again from the second book they caught on and gave it back to us every time after that to use repeatedly. Sister loves this place, mother doesn't. Tried it with sister and managed to go beyond the nasty carpet and ho-hum general appearance into the dining room where a very inexpensive lunch menu awaited us. Both had vegetarian - and both were very satisfied with freshly cooked veggies and generous portions for the price. Would rather go to Chinatown in Philly but Chinese Delight beats the overpriced and very unequal local competition for fresh value for the buck. read more

Great orange chicken and rice. It is affordable but I recommend ordering to go. The restaurant could use some updating.
