Nice restaurant with plenty of parking. Recently they've started doing all you can eat dim sum during lunch hour. The price for the dim sum buffet is super reasonable. I would have given them five stars if we hadn't ordered what I called their "strategic dishes". As you can see in my pictures, all dim sums are of small potions as they should have been. However, two carb-only dishes are supersized portion-wise: 1) stir-fried seafood rice noodle rolls with XO sauce--you won't see any seafood, but only a big dish of plain rice noodle rolls. It's pretty greasy too. 2) the chow mein portion is so big that it looks like a noodle mountain. We tried to eat as much as we could, but we didn't even manage to make a dent. When these two dishes were brought to the table, I didn't want to ask why three other dim sums I ordered never came. I think the restaurant deliberately made these carb-only dish super big to fill you up, so you won't be able to order more expensive dim sums. It's a cost-saving/profit driven strategy that doesn't sit well with us. We are not the type of customers who would eat a huge amount of food. We would never over order simply because we can. We felt bad when we had to leave the unfinished chow mein behind, but there's no way that I wanted to pay an extra $10 for the leftover chow mein--they should have never made the portion so big. It doesn't really save them much--instead it only leaves a bad taste in customers' mouths.

Went for AYCE dimsum. The dishes were really good for the price. However, we've had better dim sum (flavor/quality wise). Dessert was solid though. Tip: don't order the "special" dishes that cost extra.. unless you can confirm you can take it home with you. We did eat everything but would the dishes that are included in the AYCE are more worth it. FYI: you pay for the pot of tea, but you get unlimited refills Service: they brought out the food quickly in the beginning but started to slow down/miss items toward the end which was slightly off putting but understandable as we were eating a lot. We had to ask multiple times to get dessert.. and they said they were out of certain things which is fine but turns out they had more than what was originally told to us. Lots of seating and enough parking.

Good food, excellent service, calming ambiance. Prices were reasonable and portion sizes very appropriate. Nice place for a special lunch or dinner. They have areas for larger groups and a bar area.

Love love love the happy hour! It's worth checking out. Great prices, great food, wonderful staff! Super hidden gem! The fried garlic ribs, and the regular bby ribs are so good! So are the lamb skewers!

Came for the dim sum and it was a big let down. The food appeared to be microwaved, none was fresh. We are a dim sum fanatics and the food was far from fresh or anything that resembled edible food. We did try one vegetable dish from the menu and that was good...so I can only comment on the dim sum quality. It's ambience is average and parking limited, we wouldn't come back.

Went to this place on a Saturday around noonish to have dim sum with some friends. I was pleasantly surprised. Place was nice and maybe a tad dated but I don't mind that and does remind me of the 'traditional' places I've frequented. It's an all you can eat so that should tell you a tad about the quality. But again like I said I was pleasantly surprised. Quantity and frequency of choice was solid so good number of options to choose from. The shrimp dumplings (Har gow) was good which should please most dim sum goers. They had a variety of rice noodle rolls ( beef, roast pork and shrimp - the cheung funs) which you have to order and they bring back from the kitchen nicely warmed for you. They were not bad ... these are harder to make because more refined eaters tend to like the skin thinner and softer. The beef and roast pork ones were a little too thick but the shrimp one seemed to be a little thinner which did confuse me a little. But overall for the burbs I thought it was acceptable. Everything else from egg custards and rice congee and spare ribs were good. Service was solid too, plates were cleared in a very timely manner and our tea pots were refilled quickly. I generally go to Chinatown or South Philly (close to Fish town) for dim sum but living in the burbs makes this a hassle. So if you don't like making that trek, this is a good place to go with very very reasonable pricing. I probable give food closer to 3, service 4, location, parking and pricing 5 to come to overall 4 rating. I would definitely come back and bring the kids too.

Stopped by Jin Ding for some dim sum and it did not disappoint! The restaurant overall is very clean and nice! Our server was so attentive and friendly! We were the first table there right when they opened so the service time was also fairly quick! The prices were on the higher side than most places I have visited serving dim sum but they offered the same selection if not with a few varieties. We ordered scallion pancakes, custard buns, pork buns, soup dumplings, shrimp and bbq rice rolls, chives dumpling, their special dumpling and a few more dishes. Our total came out to about $100 + tip. My favorite was the bbq rice roll. The meat was tender and nice small pieces of spare rib paired with the chewy rice roll was delicious! I did also like that the soup dumplings were smaller making it easy to pop and consume without burning your entire face. I was slightly disappointed at the custard buns though. I am not sure if they're premade and just heated but only one of the 3 looked the way it was supposed to. The other 2, looked so deformed, could not tell that it was supposed to look like a pig. I am sure most people probably order this with the intent of it looking cute, so they should make sure to provide the customers with that experience!

    1. Overall dim-sum taste and service are good. The wrapper of dumpling and steamed rice roll is kind of thicker than usual.

    Wonton soup

I stumbled upon Jing Ding on a whim and we decided to grab dinner here as we saw they served soup dumplings and Wonton soup with thinner Wonton skins. We tried a variety of items. *Wonton soup: broth was great. Hot. But the wontons were ice cold. There were only 2 wontons (and they are on the smaller side), it felt like a rip off to me. *Fried crab - read on the menu as if it was crab Rangoon. It wasn't called crab Rangoon on the physical menu in the restaurant. But on their website, it's listed as Rangoon. While I was happy that they used real crab, this was not Rangoon. I didn't find any cream cheese component, it tasted like a crabcake in a fried wonton. There was no cheesy or creamy feel. It tasted good, but not was I was wanting. *pork soup dumplings: while on the smaller side, these were the star of the show and the only thing I would return for. The soup was so flavorful as was the pork. They didn't serve them with a large enough spoon nor chopsticks, I had to ask. *pork lo mein: pork was very fatty. Lo mean was good. Your typical noodle dish. *Service: excellent. Super friendly and accommodating. *The space was nicely redone and very clean. Love that they have a bar.

This place immediately came to mind after I read the reviews, and I ordered takeout tonight. I am very pleased to say that this was an amazing experience! I opted to do fairly simple dim sum, mainly because a restaurant that has "dim sum" in its name should shine in this category. I was able to place my order online, and had the scallion pancake, the pork, soup, dumplings, the chicken and shiitake dumplings, and the shrimp shu mai. The order was prepared, extremely fast, but very attentively. The packaging was thoughtful and protective, without being wasteful. They included a small container of delicious black vinegar/soy for dipping, and some chopsticks. All of the dishes were fantastic! My favorite was probably the shrimp dumplings, and I was happy that it was two for one night. Everything tasted very fresh and well-made. The seasoning was spot on, without being overly salty. My only regret was that after going to pick these up, I noted that the inside of the establishment appeared to be quite quaint and comfortable, and would definitely recommend that people check this place out for dine in options. The staff were very friendly, and made the pick up experience a positive one. So, if you're in the area and really want to have some dim sum, I would definitely recommend this place. I will most definitely be back in the future!!

The upside is that it was inexpensive, which is what drew me there in the first place. My very first time eating there in March 2026. I'll start with the good: the Hong Kong wonton soup, the egg drop soup, & the beef chow fun. I would return for these items. The bad: the duck rolls, the shrimp with lobster sauce. The duck rolls, I took one bite, and that was enough. The duck was dry, it didn't have good flavor, I'm not sure if it was particularly fresh. It tasted like it could be the duck that's about to be shrink. The shrimp in lobster sauce was the worst I've ever had. Absolutely no taste. I do not use condiments and I had to put soy sauce in it. I have hypertension, I do not use soy sauce! I had to use it to choke it down. That was the most expensive dish and almost $17 so no way that was being wasted. And there was barely any shrimp in it. The ugly: The egg roll & crispy fried noodles. The oil must be very old. The egg roll was so dark and soft with oil that the oil was dripping off of it and filling the little wax paper bag. The noodles were also too dark and tasted gross like being fried and old oil. I would never get anything fried from this place ever.

Though we hadn't been there in years, Golden Bowl came to mind. Consensus: we spent a bit more than we usually do, but the food was a couple of notches better. As a point of comparison, we ordered our usual soups: hot & sour and egg-drop wonton. Hot & sour was thick and spicy. (To temper the heat, I cut my serving with spoonfuls of egg-drop.) Wontons were nicely filled and less doughy than our usual take-outs. Two thumbs up for the soup. Mongolian Beef is my husband's favorite. We both agreed that Golden Bowl's version is pretty good. Our other dish, Sizzling Triple Delight, is best eaten in the restaurant. Nothing was sizzling, but the components -- beef, chicken, shrimp and vegetables -- were well prepared. Broccoli was al dente and the brown sauce was rich and flavorful. All-in-all, branching out paid off. We'll most assuredly do it again.

The shrimp were cooked perfectly--tender, juicy, and well-seasoned without overpowering the natural taste. Each bite felt fresh and balanced, and the portion size was just right. The white fish with bok choy was a standout dish. The fish was delicate, flaky, and cooked to perfection, while the bok choy added a nice crunch and freshness to the plate.
