Small to go restaurant located between the Target and Payless Shoe Store in Clermont. Very busy place, which is a usual good sign. Decided to try this place out since they hubby was wanting fried scallops (imitation).. Our usual Chinese place (NY Chinese by Publix in Clermont) didn't have it on the menu so we ordered from here. Funny thing is this place had it on an old menu I had but didn't have it on the new one in the restaurant. No problem, they still had them so we were good to go. We ordered some of our favorite Chinese food... sesame chicken, chicken chow fun, crab rangoon and the scallops. Everything was delicious. We liked the sesame chicken much better at this place since the quality and portion size seems to have gone down a bit at the other place we liked. A note on the chow fun.. the taste was good at this place, however, we like the snow peas and bigger pieces of tender chicken from the other Chinese place. Still pretty good though. Crab rangoon was good and sweet, although I would prefer it a bit crispier (but not burnt, of course). Ultimately, we have found our new favorite Chinese food to go place in Clermont. :) read more

We go there often. Been in the area for 15+ years and tried all the Chinese places around and this is the only one we go to. Great portions with good ratio of meat, and actual flavor to the dishes unlike the other Chinese restaurants around here. We've been getting food here for six years now, but I don't think it's as good as it was. No more snow peas in dishes that used to have them. They just changed up the crispy noodles to something that seems like it's bought in bulk and then bagged up for individual sale. The previous crispy noodles were much better. I was referred by a friend at work to try this place and I'm glad we did. It seems family run since the boy that rung us up and took our order seemed about 12 or 13. Anyway, the food was very good. My list of bad Chinese restaurant pet peeves include frozen cubed carrot and pea blend in fried rice, sauces that have so much cornstarch they taste gelatinous, lo mein made with spaghetti, and yellow rice trying to pass for fried rice. Extra points off if you put the frozen veggie blend in the yellow rice and call it vegetable fried rice. All of these offenses can be found in the Winter Garden/Ocoee/Clermont area. However, Chinese To Go has committed none of these crimes, so they get five stars from me. I'll be back. read more

Chinese to Go is next to Target on 50. I wanted to try a number of items before posting this. Hands down THE BEST Chinese food in Clermont! They have the best quality ingredients.Their veggies are always crisp and meats are fresh. My go-to items include their chicken teriyaki sticks, steamed dumplings, and sauteed broccoli. Every item I've ordered has exceeded my expectations. The one exception was lo mein. I ordered it twice: once it was made with linguine-type noodles and was AWESOME; the 2nd time it was with Asian egg noodles that were wayyyy too mushy. Idk which is their regular type so I've avoided it since. It's a family run operation and I LOVE supporting local businesses. Give them a try if you haven't already! read more
