I've used this laundry place a few times for pick up and drop off laundry service and it's pretty reasonably priced and they are quick with picking up and dropping off. I just started coming here and picked up my first load of laundry done and I'm happy to report it is very good quality cleaning. Very unassuming place but the people inside are very nice! This small Turtle Bay storefront was able to turn around 15 pounds of laundry in the same day (in by 10 out after 6) for less than $20! Everything was folded and stacked in a bag, ready to go. Sent my clothes here as a treat to not having to wash them and my white towel came back discolored. It is now a grayish color and has dark spots on it. When I called to have them rectify it or give some money back the woman blamed me for the amount of clothes and then also said it was the detergent. I have used the same detergent for a long time and not once has this happened when I do my own clothes. And detergent doesn't stick to clothes that's the point of washing. Not only all of this happened but the woman admitted she saw it when folding and decided not to tell me like it wouldn't be an issue for me. Do not go here!! read more

Ching laundry treats their customers like family. They are fantastic at communicating when they will pick up or drop off laundry. I am rarely home and they are so accommodating to my busy schedule. In terms of laundry, everything always comes back perfectly folded, cleaned, and smelling great. I've never had an issue with my clothes getting lost. In addition, they are relatively inexpensive. I've never used the services for a quick turnaround but instead wait until I can't fill up a bug bag and then I get the clothes back a few days later. Send your clothes here if you want all your shirts ruined. My softest shirts returned crispy, some of my shirts came back stretched 2 sizes bigger and even had plastic melted on to a few if my shirts. Unacceptable. Clearly they don't know what hey are doing. Update: I used this service again and there are no end to the problems here. My girlfriend sent in a $300 dress to be cleaned and it winds up missing. Also they didn't return my laundry bag and decided to return us someone else's laundry bag. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if they donated that dress to someone else. Not to mention they barely speak any English at all so communicating anything to them is nearly impossible. When I started talking to them in my Chinese they hung up on me. Rude. Quick and painless service. Dropped off my laundry at 7:30am and it was ready and delivered to me by end of day.

Just moved to the area and my building does not have a laundry unit so I was looking for places in the area, some places charge $1(National cleaners) or more per lb of laundry but Ching Cleaning charges 0.80 which is great. I dropped off same day (they are also open early 8:30am and close at 7pm) they told me they could have it done that day or I could pick up tomorrow they were very accommodating and efficient. I picked up the next day and everything was folded and cleaned perfectly it was so cheap and done well. Will be coming back here regularly! read more

The staff is always nice, quick and efficient. I always love coming to Ching's as I have never gotten a damaged piece of clothing back or had to report missing clothes. Ching's doesn't charge more than required and is quite cheap for the area. It's a wonderful place to go to, and I never worry about my laundry when I drop it off there. The girls at the register are very receptive and helpful. I have skin sensitivity and sent them my own detergent and dry sheets and they seem to always use them. a small laundry and cleaning joint on 1st ave between 49 and 50th st that know how to clean , dry and fold your garments into a laundry bag like old pros. i took two large bags of my clothing to be washed cause i dont have the time to do it myself(lazy) and my buddy who lives a block away told me to give them a try cause as he stated , for 5 years ching has been doing my laundry and some dry cleaning with no lost clothing to bitch about , clothes are always cleaned and prices are fairly decent for the area . ok i listened to my buddy and i must agree as the few times i have used them for my laundry i have been happy overall with chings work .they also do pickup and drop offs which is a plus for folks who dont have the time or just to busy but i prefer to drop off in person which results in same day service usually . friendly area laundry shop that still believe in the old school way of doing laundry . 4.5 on my yelp meter . read more

BEST dry cleaner I have found in Manhattan (and probably in my life). Seriously amazing. They do a great job, really clean the clothes, and they have been able to get out stains and fix any problems I had (I had one white dress that had a wine or cola stain for TWO YEARS and they were able to remove it.
