Great wash & fold service. Laundry always comes back smelling fresh, clean, and DRY - which is exactly what you want! Nothing worse than paying to have your laundry done only to open it and things are still damp. And everything always looks like it does when I do it, which I so appreciate. I have never used a laundry service in NYC but was recently recommended to try it out by a few friends. A quick Yelp search for a place which services Murray Hill brought me to On The Go, and I have no regrets checking it out. I tried the Wash & Fold service which charges by weight (currently $1.25/LB). A quick comparison to other local services showed this to be very reasonably priced. Their website is very easy/simple to use. I quickly created an account and then arranged for pick-up in the afternoon via my doorman. The next day, my clothing was delivered to me folded neatly in a nice laundry bag. Of note, there is a $20 minimum per order and a 10 pound minimum for the laundry service. Best thing is that you get $10 off your first order! Overall I was quite impressed and will definitely be using them again in the future. read more

As a first time client, I spent over $325 on "dry cleaning" from this business. Instead I was returned a full bag of clothing folded--with deodorant marks, and exact stains that should not have been difficult to remove. I trusted this company because of the almost 5 star yelp review and convenience to my area. It does not matter how inexpensive your services are IF YOU ARE PAYING FOR NOTHING. I don't believe my clothing was dry cleaned. As a stylist who works with hundreds of clients in this city I will never recommend your services. I will make sure everyone I work with knows how your establishment operates. Poor attention to detail. Charging for services that haven't been completed. Even more impressive -- my boyfriend decided he would try out this service as well after seeing how great it was. He scheduled a 10AM Friday pickup. The company went out of their way to text him and let him know his clothes wouldn't get back till Monday as they are closed on the weekends. This was SO considerate and did make a difference. He travels weekly for work & it would have been a disaster if he wasn't able to get his laundry back before leaving. That simple text showed that they really care about their customers. I found them through Yelp, and I can't tell you the many times Rick and On the Go Laundry NYC have saved me in the past few weeks. I used another Dry Cleaning company, but I didn't love them (too expensive). On The Go Laundry NYC has good prices; they are careful and meticulous with the clothes you send, and if they find any issues, they send pictures via text and ask how you wish to proceed.
