They offer pick up and delivery, but they also let me come into the store and pick up as well. The website seems outdated, their current pricing for wash/fold is minimum 6lb @ $8.75, $1.25/lb additional. It's reasonable pricing for the area. The ladies working there are very responsive on the phone and are easy to talk to in case you have any questions.

I have a white Guayabera all linen long sleeve shirt with the vertical pleats on the front, the kind you can wear to church, to weddings, to fine dining, and on important dates. Now then let that shirt be unknowingly stained in multiple places on each sleeve by a dark and tarry mushroom supplement you take. You think, "this shirt is ruined on the first wear." Not so quick with Josh and Champion Cleaners. I texted Josh and told him of the challenge to clean this shirt. He replied, "we'll do our best." Their best at Champion Cleaners was well up to the job and I texted Josh that perhaps he heard the applause coming from my direction in the still of the early morning in the City. It had 3 good reviews here on yelp and a couple of good reviews in other places so I figured this would be a good place to use. WRONG! I separated my laundry. I had 18 bags, and sent 2 for dry cleaning and 16 for washing which I specifically labeled. They simply ignored that and sorted my laundry in the most expensive way they could find. They dry cleaned clothes that do not even have "dry clean" on the care label. I mean they dry cleaned my handkerchiefs (which btw should be washed with bleach), my snowboarding pants, my jeans, EVEN A BATHROOM RUG!! I mean who dry cleans a bathroom rug? When I argued that I had only sent TWO bags for dry cleaning, he told me that I had agreed to the contract and in the contract it says that they will sort out the clothes the best way they see fit. So yes that was my mistake to trust them and assume that they would sort it the best way possible for cleaning, not that they would sort the laundry the most expensive way an dry-clean almost everything I sent them. In the end they sent me a bill of almost $3000 which I had to pay in full before they delivered my clothes. I tried to negotiate but the owner would not budge and told me if I didn't get my clothes within the time agreed they would start charging me for storage. I am so angry. I ended up charging my card over my spending limit because, how else would I be able to afford this? I don't know. All I know is that this service is a rip off and they will make sure to sort your clothes in the most expensive way possible. I would give it zero stars if I could.

I have also used their dry cleaning service for coats, blouses, etc. So far, everything has been great - no missing pieces and all my clothes always come back clean and pressed. Natasha altered it well, and it fit before I left the store - however, upon getting to my wedding and hanging up my dress, we realized the inner most layer of fabric still had about 10 safety pins in it and the hem was never finished. I was constantly stepping on the innermost layer. Also, she had told me she would add to the bustle on the dress to be more secure, which was not done. The bustle broke off the dress, and the back of the dress ended up having to be safety pinned in order for me to dance during the evening. If not for having very crafty friends and family, the poor job Natasha did would have really affected the evening. If given Natasha as a seamstress, ensure everything you've asked for is 100% completed before leaving.

I love Yelp ( Good or Bad ) ok i got a stain on my expensive suits on last week. I didn't it would ever come out, so i took it to my regular cleaners. they didn't want touch it, and told me 'do not waste money" throw them out' most of cleaners were drop store without dryclean machine. so i went to turtle bay cleaners. there are plant with equipped machine everything. i asked it them about stain. they told they don't promised , but they will try to clean the stain. went back 3 days later and sure enough the stain was gone 100% gone. my recommendation is go to plant store not drop store. wherever u go, u need to know where my clothes dry cleaned. read more

I have never encountered such exceptional service in my life. I had dropped off my suits for dry cleaning. The quality was great, and they noticed a tear in the crotch of my suit and fixed it for free !!! Never gonna go anywhere else ! High recommended read more

But have never ever had problems with other dry cleaners. EVER. The first time I used Todd Layne was to dry clean the most expensive dress I ever owned. It was 20 years old and I loved its classy black dress look. Took it home, put it in the closet and because I didn't wear it often never looked at it. A year later, took it out for a wedding, packed it still in their plastic bag. Got to the wedding and it wasn't my dress. It was a cheap black dress, not even my size but because it had been so long I felt I couldn't complain. Figured it was a one time issue. WRONG! In 2022 brought in a beautiful, pricey Saks Fifth Avenue blouse (about 10 years old) and a new white shirt. They lost both though insisted they delivered them. There was no record at my very efficient building's concierge. I even checked neighboring buildings. Nothing. I submitted a form for some kind of compensation. As an aside they NEVER apologized. Two years later, though lots of promises to send the check they NEVER delivered the check just like they never delivered my clothes. So if you value your items, and want them returned, go elsewhere.

More than half of the items that I brought in came back damaged. I'm attaching pictures here for reference. 1. They lost the button of my Alice and Olivia jacket and sewed in a cheap, clear button and never addressed this mishap upfront. The jacket also came back with less vibrant colors 2. My white pants came back with damaged fabric 3. The blue silk dress came back with damaged fabric and spots that were not originally there and 4. Blue cashmere scarf came back with spots and discoloration. I came back in to complain about my damaged items and they were unwilling to offer a refund, which would have been the minimum they could have done after damaging several items. Not only did they not refund me, but I also got yelled at by the female front desk associate. She even used the word "fuck". The entire experience was absolutely awful. I am taking precious time to write this review because I wouldn't want anyone to experience what I experienced. Save yourself 1. Your clothes 2. Your time 3. Your money and 4. Your emotional well-being by avoiding this cleaner. There are plenty of other options in the Upper East Side.
