The area includes a 24-hour gym, and I've always felt comfortable riding there. While riding, I noticed a suspicious white car parked with its lights on, facing the exit. As I passed, I saw no one inside and thought nothing more of it. A few minutes later, an old, beat-up white vehicle came speeding toward me through the parking lot with its headlights off, forcing me to quickly swerve to avoid potential harm. The vehicle came to a stop, and I saw "Security Patrol" marked on its side. Soon after, the original parked white car pulled up, and a woman identifying herself as Alexis began confronting me aggressively. She claimed I wasn't allowed to park in the lot, which was puzzling since I was clearly on a bicycle. When I clarified that I had no vehicle there, she pivoted and said I couldn't ride a bike there either. I asked where this was posted--there were no signs indicating any such restriction. Her tone was hostile and dismissive from the beginning, and the male security guard from the first car escalated the situation by stating, "I'm allowed to run you out of here." I have this and the rest of the encounter fully documented on video. The situation quickly devolved into yelling, unprofessional behavior, and personal insults from both individuals. After police were called (by the security personnel), the responding officers were professional and respectful. They confirmed that there are no posted rules or signage prohibiting bicycle riding or parking in the lot. They even advised me to submit a formal complaint, which I'm now doing. I have already emailed Danielle Dally, Enrique, and Karla Rodriguez regarding this matter. These two individuals demonstrated a complete lack of training, professionalism, and respect for residents. Their conduct was not only unacceptable but potentially dangerous. I am requesting the following:     1.    That the two individuals involved are removed from patrol in this area immediately.     2.    A copy of the contract or policy that governs security enforcement at this property.     3.    Clarification on any official property rules regarding bicycles or resident access after hours.     4.    A response in writing acknowledging this incident and outlining steps being taken. I look forward to a prompt and serious response. I should not have to worry about safety or disrespect when enjoying my neighborhood.

There is a cafe/ convenience store across from the campground where you can also purchase your day use park pass for $5. I experienced a foggy day, which gave a cooling effect to my hiking. Restrooms are vault toilets, so unpleasant smells and a mess are a given. The lake has lots of swampy algae, therefore not appropriate for swimming or water sports. However, they do allow fishing with permit. I am a nature enthusiast and it was saddening to see the lack of humans respect for nature, with graffiti and trash in some areas of the park. Crystal lake definitely could use more funding to preserve its natural beauty. The loveliest part is listening to woodpeckers as they work, watching an eagle fly above with a fish in its talons, and treading quietly not to startle the squirrel who is crossing my path. I suggest picking up a map with hiking trails from the rangers post or convenience store, before planning your day!

However, I'm giving this place a four star rating because I don't think I'd find myself coming back. It's probably a five star experience for a younger crowd, but my knees could only handle so much. We decided on the 90 minute play time and it was more than enough time to enjoy the facility. At this location, we took turns on the mechanic bull, braved the ninja obstacle course, tried roller skating/roller blading, jumped on the trampolines, and raced each other in the arcade. There was a lot more to play, but these were the activities that we were most interested in. We arrived closer to the opening time so it wasn't very busy when we were here. This was nice because it made a lot of the activities more accessible. I think that Spo Cha is a great place to try something new! I like that they emphasize safety and provide the appropriate gear for specific activities at no additional cost. It's an excellent value for your money compared to other adventure parks.

This place is every germaphobe's nightmare. I remember when Spo-Cha first opened and thought it was…read morea decent little spot to do some activities. Coming back years later with somewhat optimistic expectations, it sadly now looks like a shell of what it could have been. On Sunday afternoon, we decided to check out Spo-Cha since we had nothing else to do while hanging out with friends. While I was already anticipating having to use shared equipment, it was honestly really gross seeing communal sports equipment just being hung up after use or thrown in the same bin for the next person to use... and not to mention, everything was VERY sweaty too. There were no attendants actively cleaning equipment (maybe one at the roller rink) and no form of paper towels or sprays to at least allow you to clean between use. Not sure if I was more afraid of potentially getting lice or ringworm, but I tried to avoid touching anything with cloth while I was there. If you're a parent, consider bringing extra disinfectant wipes or hand sanitizer. The bathrooms were not the cleanest but were fine if you're just washing your hands frequently. Not to mention, there were kids running amok throughout the establishment. Again, while it is to be expected, I was still a little concerned seeing there be a lack of parental supervision for a LOT of young kids (toddlers included). Not only is it dangerous for them, who likely don't know any better, but also for older teens and adults trying to avoid knocking them over when they disrupt games or recklessly run into people around the roller rink. While at the very least, most of the sports were fine to play (e.g. billiards, table tennis, volleyball, pickleball, etc.), when it came to the arcade... half the machines were broken. And even if they worked, then a third of those would have something wrong with it. At that point, you'd rather spend your money at Round 1 next door for arcade games and somewhat of a nicer experience. Moving on to the dining area... We did get thirsty after a while and, after noticing a pitcher of water at an empty table, we asked if we could order one as well. The staff (hiding behind the self-order kiosks, since you do not have the option to order at the register) let us know that a pitcher of water costs $8. Needless to say, consider eating and drinking before/after you come here (or just fork up a few extra dollars for a soda instead). Sure, you can say that you get what you pay for, but this place seems to have been going downhill for a while. The only person really working was the employee in a black button up checking us in and out at the counter. He was very courteous and efficient, but seemed pretty overworked. Not sure what things look like behind the scenes, but it doesn't seem like anyone else other than him really cared about the quality or reputation of this place. Overall, if you're looking for a place to kill 3 hours with a $30 budget, you've found it. If you keep your expectations low enough, it's honestly not that terrible of a spot to try different sports or get a little exercise in while having some semblance of fun. But, if you have the chance to avoid it, avoid it. Or instead, consider catching a movie at AMC or heading to Round 1 before it meets the same fate as Spo-Cha.

Even with a reservation, it was quite busy the day we went, so there was still a check-in process to go through at the front. That said, everything was organized and moved along reasonably well considering the crowd. I've been to another K1 Speed location before, and this one definitely feels newer and cleaner. The facility is well-maintained, and the helmets were in good condition with no unpleasant odors -- something I really appreciated. The overall environment felt safe and modern. We brought a child with us and asked if it was possible to group them with other kids. The staff was very accommodating and explained the different kart ranges available for younger drivers. They made sure everything was age-appropriate while still keeping the experience fun. As for the track itself, it was exciting and well-designed. The karts were responsive, and the layout had enough turns and straightaways to keep things engaging without feeling overwhelming. Overall, a fun and energetic experience -- especially great for families -- and I'd definitely consider coming back again.

Waiting 30 minutes for a pretzel and onion rings sucks, it especially sucks when the onion rings taste horrible and look just as bad. Its even worse that you ordered prior to a party arriving and yet they got at least two orders of wings and pizzas delivered before your food even hit the table. Install a notification system, minus 1 star. Waiting an hour and a half to ride is fine. Not being able to leave is the problem. Its 2026 and you can't have a push notification system for guest....maybe its better with a reservation but living over an hour away and with California's traffic its not something that can be guaranteed for some. It wouldn't be fair to not review the actual thing people come here for. The racing is fun and exciting. Course is done well. Plus 1 star.

Once we entered the park and drove around the lake, I noticed that there was a gonglomerate amount of people and nearly everyone was fishing. There were zero open spots to fish. The vegetation has grown so high and taking up so much of the shore it's really limited the spots fisherman have to fish. I scoured the edge, the bank and did not find one open spot for me and my son to fish! I wish person at the front gate had mentioned. Hey there's a lot of people here. You may not find a spot but no nothing! upon walking to the lake on 5 different occasions the water was extremely green and very disgusting to look at. We were in the park less than 30 minutes when I went back to the front gate and requested a refund because I wasn't going to stay. Nowhere on the front gate, the front office, door the inside, glass on the inside walls: does it say that refunds are not given on site or not at all. After speaking to the clerk Alex, who was really rude, informed me that refunds are not given, but a document needs to be filled out and processed, and then MAYBE approved by two upper people only then for them to MAYBE decide if a refund can be given. Total bullshit. You've taken my entry fee, your provided zero communicate to fishing related questions, and you won't issue me a refund on the spot, why?
