This is a little bit challenging to rate because I actually feel very comfortable with the actual themselves. The two concerns that I have is the seems to be excessive and getting worse. So even when I have an appointment sometimes I'm waiting for 45 minutes to an hour to be seen so that makes me wonder if the office is , I'm not sure but I've come to this location with even the previous fit and I've never had to wait as long as I do these days. I think their prices are a bit higher than the average fit although we all know veterinarian services for our loved ones are always expensive. But if I had to them on the length of time I sit, I would probably put but once I actually get to see the vet, I'm always happy with their care and support with my dogs read more

I absolutely love this vet office. They take such good care of my dog every time we come in. The vet is not only knowledgeable, but also genuinely funny and easy to talk to, which really helps ease the stress of vet visits. What I appreciate most is how honest he is. He explains everything clearly, tells you exactly what's going on, and never tries to push unnecessary treatments or overcharge you. You can tell he truly cares about the animals and their well-being. He's always very gentle with my dog and treats him with so much patience and kindness. My pup had a stone that took up 50% of her bladder. She was having a very difficult time urinating. I made an appointment with Dr. Hill for a second opinion. Unlike the first vet, Dr. Hill explained in detail the reason for the formation of the stone(s), how it will be treated, and how to avoid formation of future stone(s) with her diet. After the consultation, the assistant gave me a quote for the surgery and it was less than half the cost of the 1st vet. The BEST part, I picked up my dog 4.5 hours after the surgery, no cone was needed, the suture was beautifully done, she walked out of her cage I transported her in, she went and laid down in my bed, and she slept. She was very uncomfortable on Saturday, but by Sunday evening, I kid you not, she walked around like she didn't even have her surgery. By Tuesday, she was behaving completely herself, and wanted to go on her walks.... just an AMAZING recovery. Dr. Hill, THANK YOU so much for your kindness and compassion shown to me and my dog. I was looking to get my dog spayed and asked a few diff places that all ended up giving me a quote between $800-$1k My friend actually recommended me here after she had a good experience with her two male dogs' neuter. I've been going to see Dr. Hill on and off the last 2-3 years during the pandemic and my dog has gone through many vets. None are as dedicated and honest as Dr. Hill, and good vets are so hard to come by. Dr. Hill and his staff have never tried to oversell me on anything or give unwarranted advice to play with my emotions. My dog just underwent a surgery today for a lipoma removal and they were kind enough to add on a quick dental cleaning since she'll be under anesthesia already. Dr. Hill assessed my dog's lipoma for the first time today during a free consultation, and reassured me that the location of the lipoma was nothing to worry about and her teeth were actually fine for another year or so. These two procedures were completely elective, I knew, and he was straight about it too. The sutures came out very neatly stitched. Total cost of the whole thing was under expectations as well, so my wallet is happy. AND they clipped my dog's nails free of charge since she was unconscious anyway. Her nails were fine and I've been slowly grinding them every week for the last year, but it was such a nice surprise when I saw. The staff's methods for record keeping can be a bit outdated in an older office and sometimes it can be tough to get in contact with the front desk, but they've always returned my calls when I left voicemails. Overall I love Dr. Hill and recommend him over other vets in this area. We've been to TLC Animal Clinic and the VCA Animal Hospital in Upland - neither compare with this vet. read more

He could hv easily said yes to needing a dental but he's one of few left with ethics. My niece wad quoted $2,750. for her boxers surgery. Dr Hill charged only $795. I thought I had already written a review but I guess I was only singing praises in my head because I didn't want Dr. Hill to get any more popular than he already is. Well the secret is out of the bag that he is the absolute best vet in the area. After spending $400+ on useless x rays and meds for my dog at another vet office, I decided enough was enough and wanted to see a new vet that wouldn't take advantage of us. I am so glad I found Dr. Hill as he is an absolute angel and dog whisperer. My little chihuahua is feisty, doesn't like males, and definitely doesn't like strangers. As soon as he saw Dr. Hill, surprisingly my dog didn't growl, bark, or even whimper. He was actually calm and listened to Dr. Hill and let him examine him and even allowed him to give him two vaccines! I was shocked by what I was seeing! Dr. Hill is so kind and takes his time talking to you and most importantly if you're an anxious dog mama who only wants the best for your fur baby, he DOES NOT try to prey in your fears and upsell you. He is honest, patient, and thoroughly explains and answers all 10000 of your questions and I can't imagine what I am going to do if he ever retires. He has such a calm demeanor that for once even I wasn't nervous taking my dog to the vet, something I used to hate just as much as my dog. I live quite far and I must say it was well worth the drive. Great reviews + reasonable pricing?! Please, take my money! The only reason for my 4 star is because getting a hold of them over the phone is quite a challenge. But don't let this deter you, we are In a pandemic and since they don't allow humans inside their clinic, all communications are done over the phone. If they don't pick up your call just simply leave a message and they will always return your call. Now about our little furrbrat, it's been 3 days and her stitches are healing very nicely. I would highly recommended! Note: When you arrive at the parking lot, call their number first, someone should come outside to check you in. I still can't bring myself to take my dog anywhere else but here to Dr. Hill. My dog mentioned in my previous post somehow injured his knee, and started limping and had trouble putting weight on one of his hind leg. Obviously I had to bring him to Dr. Hill, and after examining him, he explained my dog most likely had a torn ACL. Instead of pushing me to do surgery right away, Dr. Hill suggested confining him for about two weeks and giving him anti-inflammatory medication to see if it'll help. But unfortunately, he was still not putting weight on his leg, and ended up needing surgery. Dr. Hill performed my dog's knee surgery, and called around 8pm to let me know that his surgery went well (which put my mind at ease). My dog stayed overnight for observation, and when I went to pick him up the next day, he looked good and seemed comfortable despite the fact that he went under major surgery. The area where the incision was looks clean, and my dog is healing up nicely. Chino Veterinary Hospital will take care of your animal like their own, so if you're looking for a great vet, look no further. Thank you Dr. Hill and team for taking care of my fur baby! read more

We are HUGE dog lovers and always went to a vet in Chino Hills that is very well known, large facility that seemed to only care about your money. We were asking around for a new vet and everyone, I mean everyone told us about Dr Hill. Wow, is all I can say. Absolutely love this smaller office and Dr Hill, and also the receptionist. He is caring, takes his time explaining everything to you, doesn't uncharge for basic care and will even hold you accountable when you are not following the care of your dog after being treated. Love this place. We have been coming here for 2 years now and will never go anywhere else. The only negative, is they get extremely busy there. So, when you call to get an appointment and leave a message, they don't always call you back which can be frustrating. I have found myself on a few occasions driving there to make the appt. But I understand, when someone is as good and popular as Dr Hill, it can be difficult to return calls in a timely manner. read more

Dr. Hill is truly the best! Dr. Clark from Chino Hills Small Animal hospital was always my TOP PICK for Vet Doctors! However, he retired a few years back. The search was ON for a new Doggie Doctor. Lots of people recommended Dr. Hill. I knew Dr. Clark would be very hard to replace. 5 years back, I skeptically made an appointment for my poochie. Like most small dogs, she's scared and shakes at a vet appt. Much to my surprise when he picked her up (all 7 pounds) of her, she stopped shaking. This doctor has the touch. His bedside manner is calm, loving, peaceful etc. I think she has a small crush on him. HE IS FABULOUS! He's been "spot on" all of his diagnosis' As well as, remedies the problem (s) quickly and lovingly. Prices are VERY competitive. I am so happy with this Vet and his entire group. Dr. Hill is seriously the best vet! We've never had a stable veterinarian since most places give the impression that they're money hungry instead of caring for the animals. When a family friend told us they've been seeing Dr. Hill for years, we became hopeful. I called in August to make an appointment for a checkup and blood work for my dogs. Unfortunately, they were all booked until September. Since it was a general check-up, I was in no rush and agreed. This was a good sign because a busy place means happy and returning customers. We finally came in September and waited outside due to COVID. They come outside and collect your information before your checkup. Once it was our turn, Dr. Hill came outside to talk to us. He was so kind and friendly towards my dogs. He even kneeled to play with them. My heart :') After discussing my dogs, he brought one of them in to do blood work. A few minutes later, he brought him out and told us we would find out about the results in a few days. As for my second dog, he didn't have any problems so Dr. Hill said he looked healthy and didn't need any blood work. He told us it wouldn't make sense to do blood work and pay extra if he was healthy and active. I appreciate the honesty and how he doesn't just do everything for money. Thanks, Dr. Hill!
