I had to go to Kansas for the weekend for my sister's wedding and I usually board my cat Sylvie at a kennel for the weekend. They were filled up so I called Sky's the Limit somewhat short notice and they were able to help me so much! And oh my goodness I am never going back to the other borders. They sent me daily checkups about how they cared for my cat and how happy she was. They sent me daily photos which made me feel so much better about her safety and happiness, they were cuter than most of the pictures I take of her haha. I was worried about having someone come to my house, but Sky's the Limit was so trusty worthy and helpful. My cat can have a real attitude but she loved them! While I was in Kansas my flight got delayed and I needed to stay another day, so Sky's the Limit added an extra day to my service quickly! Then, my wallet was stolen in Kansas... it was a hard weekend lol. In all the craziness of everything I forgot to message them and tell them I was waiting for a new credit card to pay for service, but Sky's the Limit didn't worry about it and didn't cause me extra grieve. And the prices were less than HALF of what it would've been at the kennels for MUCH better care of my kitty. I always run into some issue with every other pet boarding place but Sky's the Limit made this whole mess of a weekend so much easier that I didn't have to worry about my cat and knew she would be safe the whole time. I know it can be worrisome having someone come into your house, but Sky's the Limit offered me a free 15-minute consultation before leaving and they were well prepared to care for my kitty. I will definitely be coming back. If you have an older kitty, the 30-minute option to visit is best I believe. She doesn't need much, but they gave her great care in that timeframe and anything she needed. I originally choose the 45-minute option, but they advised me to go for 30-minutes, so you know they're not trying to squeeze out money from you haha. Excellent pet boarding! Went on a trip for a week but didn't want to leave Molly, my 5 months old husky, to the kennel. We went to Aki's home for a consultation before the trip. Went on a cruise to Europe for a week & didn't really like leaving my dog in kennels. so I had consultation w/ Aki. She & her assistant Kathrine met my dogs & told them what I needed done . They took to my dogs really well including my pitbull which everyone is afraid of. So I had them come daily in the afternoon for 1 hour & every other day for 45 minutes in morning . They would text updates & pics for every visit. Aki is very sweet & super responsible . I could tell my dogs were happy from the pics & especially when I got home they were all very happy & well fed. I went to Europe in June 2017 for 18 days and needed a pet sitter to care for my 2 elderly fur-kids daily during my vacation. Finding the right person was a bit challenging, but after receiving a referral, I hired Aki and her team from Sky's the Limit Pet Service LLC in Azusa. There were several characteristics and skills that were particularly important to me. The following are traits a good pet sitter should have and I was able to find with Aki: Aki is flexible and calm. When caring for my cats, things don't always go according to plan - one of my cats has health issues and got sick a few times and on top of that I had an ant problem while I was away. Aki remained patient when the unexpected happened, she remained in my home a bit longer than scheduled to clean things up and all the while remained calm so neither of my pets felt nor reacted to the anxiety. Aki is sensitive. Aki recognized the needs of my elderly pets and responded admirably to them. She was the type of person who realized that when my cats didn't want to play anymore to gave them their space. She handled my pets affectionately - I got pictures text to me daily while in Europe so I knew they were happy. Aki is trustworthy. Since I would be handing my spare house keys to a pet sitter, it was very important that I trust this person. I got an idea of whether Aki could be trustworthy during our initial meeting and also upon checking her Instagram account and seeing photos posted of her previous employers. I trust my gut instincts and any bad feeling after meeting someone always means they're not worthy. Aki is experienced. Due to my cat's health issues, it's rather challenging to care for her - she's not keen on taking medication. Aki has a lot of experience with this respect. The medication required a set dosage and schedule and Aki was able to follow it exactly, in fact upon my return home, I found Aki's documented schedule on my kitchen counter to show when the medication was administered by her or by Destiny (part of her team). Aki is reliable. The Sky's the Limit LLC of Azusa made my vacation that much better and made life easier - I never experienced any headaches wondering if they'll be late or show up at all. It was important to me to rely on my pets' caregiver and I was able to carry out my vacation plans confidently. We set clear agreements between us about rules and scheduling. If the Sky's the Limit was running late (as happens to everyone occasionally), Aki immediately let me know via text. The Sky's the Limit LLC of Azusa has a genuine love for animals. These people love animals and are eager to share stories of their own pets - just check out their Instagram. There were also a few days where they introduced laser pointers and we all discovered that my cats are still spry despite them being elderly. I was truly able to gauge their love for animals and their level of excitement. The Sky's the Limit LLC of Azusa established a genuine connection with my pets. When I contacted the company, Aki quickly scheduled a meet-and-greet with me and my pets. My pets are shy and take a little time to warm up to new people immediately (I'm guessing most cats are this way), but I watched for signs if my cats became uncomfortable - they did not. Observing Aki and Destiny near my animals was a great way to tell that they really had the experience and comfort with animals that they claimed to have. During the meet-and-greet, Aki took copious notes, asked a lot of questions about my pets' eating habits, their characteristics, and dispositions. These were all good signs that they were really interested and dedicated to getting to know my animals and their personal needs. I boarded my two cats here over the summer for about 5weeks. Cat Boarding is $30 a cat and an additional $10 for an extra cat. If you stay more than 2 weeks with Aki she will give you a 10% off discount! For me it was $36 a day for two cats! (She has a website that includes everything). Aki provided a private room in her home with cat towers and multiple toys. She also provides a litter box with her own litter. I have to bring everything else like food, treats, other toys, blankets, cat bed, food bowls, etc. Whatever you want to provide your cat with you can bring it. Aki is really sweet and understanding. I told her I was going out of the country so I couldn't text her so she used either Line, Instagram, or Facebook to message me pictures of my cats everyday! She even used her own stash of catnip for my cats! Overall I had a really good experience with Aki. Her prices are really good too (since my cats stayed there for 5weeks it was kinda pricey overall, but counting daily it's a good deal) . It's way better than putting my cats at a cat hotel in Petsmart or somewhere else because they would be locked in a small cage. And they would play with my cats twice a day for 15 minutes each (I asked). They won't send pictures either. Good thing my cats were boarded at Aki's home because she can easily give more attention to them. Also, the room my cats stayed in was her "office" room so every time she needed to use the computer she would be in the room with my cats! read more
