Stay clear of this HORRIBLE hospital. Found a kitten in the street, possibly hit by a car- rushed it to the closest hospital and upon arrival the three girls at the front desk showed zero care in the world. There was not one person in the waiting room. I explained how I found this kitten and wanted their help. An older lady, possible the vet tech leaned out from an exam room and said, have her sign the papers and get the kitten. They took the kitten from me- then showed me an estimate for $1100. I said what is this... the girl again with zero emotion says- if you want to try to save it, this is the estimate of cost. I said I just found it on the side of the road and could not leave it to die. She then says ok, to euthanasia the kitten it will be $235. I asked the older lady if she thought the kitten had any chance, and she said it sounds like a collapsed lung. I was clearly distraught, and they clearly took advantage of me. I am so sick that they did not have the care to help. It was all about money to this hospital. I WOULD NEVER TAKE ANY ANIMALS HERE! I doubt if the vet even looked at the kitten. We unfortunately lost our sweet 3 year old cat Fluff this week. We had taken him to our longtime vet in Alta Loma on a Saturday 30 minutes before closing and trusted them as they had never steered us wrong in 10 years, this time they threw pain meds and antibiotics at us, with no testing. Come Monday Fluff was on the decline. I looked up Euclid Vet Hospital and was able to get Fluff in right away. We were met by the amazing Dr Ramirez who accessed Fluff and discovered very quickly he had an accident and had been electrocuted (chewing on wires which we never knew him to do) and his system was shutting down. She came up with a game plan, however by Tuesday morning after about 15 hours of Dr Ramirez trying everything, we had to make the difficult decision to put our sweet boy down as he was just suffering. Dr Ramirez and the entire staff were absolutely amazing and so compassionate. The hug Dr Ramirez gave me after putting my sweet boy to sleep was everything I needed in that moment. Now that I've calmed down. This review is not intended to take business away but as a warning for people coming here to put their animal to rest. My mom and I went a couple Saturdays ago to put our dog down. As we were in the process of waiting for the vet to come in they gave us the standard procedure of trying to sell us packages. Such as if we wanted a paw print and a box for the dog's ashes. What we had told the young girl was that we wanted a paw print and our dog's ashes. We did not need the box as we already had one at home. Well, because we were distraught with putting our animal down we forgot to double check the receipt that we would still be receiving what we asked for. Lo and behold today, my mother got a message that the paw print was ready for pick up but there was no confirmation that the ashes were ready. Thats when we found out the young girl misunderstood my mother's request and did not put down that we wanted to keep the ashes. She tried to see if we could still get them a week later but it was too late. Our dog's ashes are gone forever. This is a learning point for everyone. I hope in the future this doesn't happen again. I suggest that before having people sign the documents that they take the time to break everything down slowly. Specially when their customets are in a vulnerable position. Please be sure to double check that you will receive your fur baby's ashes before leaving them in the care of someone else. read more

Came here on Saturday around 4-5pm because i thought my CANE CORSO PUPPY was having a hard time breathing. They immediately took my dog in. After a couple minutes we were brought into the room to wait for the doctor. When the doctor came in, she kneeled against the wall and squatted as if my dog passed away. Her whole demeanor seemed as though the worst possible thing could happen. So she spoke to us saying her x-rays were abnormally large and brought in a textbook to show a picture of a normal stomach and said there's a possibility in her (my dog) having a GDV. She then mistaken my puppy as a PITBULL and emphasized that it is rare for puppies to have GDV. So the doctor says in order to diagnose her we need ultrasounds which they don't have. So we take my corso to a different vet, & they said she DOES NOT HAVE GDV, and the only way to diagnose it is thru xray which we ALREADY DID AT THIS VET. do not go here, they will waste ur time, run ur money & make u think ur dog is going to die. read more

We took our cat Cheddar to Euclid Vet Hospital in November 2022 for symptoms of a UTI. They were able to squeeze us in quickly even though it was the week of Thanksgiving, and many other vets were unable to see him. Dr. Daniels was professional and thorough. She confirmed that his symptoms were consistent with a UTI and treated him with two medications. Cheddar was better within a week. He started having similar symptoms again last month, and they were able to prescribe the same medications without making another trip to the vet (lucky for Cheddar because he hates car rides). Overall, we are happy with this vet's services, their availability, and their prices. read more

I am not sure how she got an eye injury, so I called around & the cost to be seen was roughly over $200 at several local vets, on top of that, I needed to make an appointment & no walk ins allowed. Luckily, a clerk at another vet suggested I try Euclid Veterinary Hospital; when I called the receptionist said walk ins are only available on a first come first serve basis; once I got there; they said I couldn't be seen, it was only 10:30 AM. Which I understand, there was a long line. The Doctor overheard my despair, took a look at my puppy & said that if I'm willing to wait I can be seen last. I said okay! I'll take that! 4 long hours later, we get seen & now my puppy is on her road to recovery with the proper eye medication she needs to heal! Couldn't be more grateful! Thank you! read more

We have been coming here for years and never had anything negative to say. I called to updated my dogs rabies shot and made an appointment. Once I got there, they weighted him and then the vet came in to the room, checked his eyes, teeth, asked if he had been eating normally and that was it. The vet then said the assistant would come back in with a quote. She charged me 75$, 20$ for a shot and 55$ for an exam. When I asked why it was so much, she said there was a required exam but no one had mentioned that over the phone and wanted to charge me after the fact of the vet preforming the exam. DO NOT COME HERE. All they are trying to do is bait people in and scam them more money after preforming the extra service. We called to complain and the front desk lady was extremely rude, saying it was my fault for not declining to pay AFTER preforming the exam already, she also said I could have just walked out and not paid. Unprofessional on the front desk and also the vet for not notifying about the 55$ extra cost. I would have gone elsewhere would I have known. I took my 6 month old Frenchie pure breed to Dr. Daniels on 2/21/2020 for X-rays after a continuous limping that had been going on for 2 weeks after I had assumed it was a muscle strain (i was wrong). THIS IS WHERE DANIELS SHOWS HER TRUE EVILNESS, X-rays were positive for a broken humerus and Dr. Daniels starts going over my options to care for my puppy's fracture. 1) Surgery (she starts saying that my type of dog comes with lots of cash.. like .. ok? your point is?) 2) AMPUTATION (what type of vet would even suggest that upon initial diagnosis, very very sad) 3) Dog rescue (she also suggested that I gave him away, and she even says "oh I don't want him, don't worry" I was already done her evilness) Long story short.. she is very EVIL, unprofessional, rude, and has zero sympathy for pets. This became our family vet when we moved into the area about two years ago. I brought my cats in once before, and my sister had two previous appointments for her dog. Today's visit was for my sister's dog. She had received the reminder card to bring him in for his vaccinations, heartworm test, yearly exam, etc. So, when she made the appointment, she indicated that she was bringing him in for everything listed on the reminder card, so all of this was in their system. When we arrived, there was one owner and pet in the waiting room. Three young ladies were at the front desk. However, it appeared that only one of them was capable of checking in pets. So, my sister was left waiting for several minutes before she was asked what was the reason for today's visit. She told them it was for everything that was stated on the reminder card, which had the examination listed. They said they didn't schedule the exam because she didn't ask for it, but again, it was on the reminder card, which means it was in their system. They said the doctor wouldn't be able to do the exam today. So, they dropped the ball on that. She conceded and asked if they could at least do a nail trim and check his ears along with giving him the shots and heartworm check. They said they could only do the nail trim because the doctor would have to do the ear check. Again, my sister conceded. A young lady took the dog to the back and returned a few minutes later. My sister asked if his nails were trimmed. She said no, he only got his vaccinations. My sister then asked if the heartworm test had been done. She said no. So, the young lady asked another girl about the heartworm test. This young lady then mentioned doing an exam. I told her that we were told that we couldn't get the exam. In the meantime, they took him back and trimmed his nails, and brought him back. Again, they didn't do the heartworm test. So, he had already been to the back twice, and they still had not done everything that was scheduled. My sister mentioned it is because both times, they never took his chart back with them. By now, the poor dog is stressed out. So, my sister decided to just pay for what had already been done, and she would find another vet to get everything else done. It's interesting to note that while we were waiting, I heard one of the girls on the phone. The person had asked what their pet was due for. The girl listed everything that was on my sister's reminder card, including an examination. So, again, this information is in the system, and when my sister made her appointment and stated she wanted what was listed on the card, whoever made the appointment should have confirmed what was on the card which included an examination. This experience has made me decide to find another vet for my cats. This is a rather unorganized office with a lack of communication between their staff. read more

I had an appointment today for my cat. My wife and I were there as per scheduled appointment. It was our first time coming to this vet. However, due to the terrible customer service, actually lack of customer service we left. There were 3 receptionists at the front desk and none of them acknowledged us to check in despite waiting for about 5 minutes up front, we were completely ignored. We love our cat and if this is the type of service we do not feel comfortable with bringing our cat here. We have not met the doctor however if this is the type of service up front I am sure a lot of clients have left. read more

The office staff handled my pup a bit rough in my opinion for his vaccinations. They seemed very flustered and disorganized even though there were more staff than patients in the waiting room. The young lady giving my dog his shot administered it incorrectly and some of the shot spilled out onto my hand. She then had to administer another one which I'm not sure if that is safe or healthy to give him more than the dosage he was suppose to receive. Furthermore, I dropped off a stool sample because I noticed blood in my dogs poop and the lab test results were never shared with me. I kept calling to follow up but still no answer why there is blood in stool. Now they want me to go back again for another check up. I'll never take my pup back again. read more

I bring my dogs here and my cat and she will educate you and take the time she needs to give your pet the treatment they deserve and information or questions pet owners may have. Staff is friendly every time I've been to this office and are accommodating to my reactive dog. Our pup was having difficulty breathing. His tongue was purple. He was in a very serious condition. It was early morning and our regular vet was closed so we were forced to go here. They gave us two options, Option 1; pay up $1000 for him to be listed as "critical" and he would be seen immediately. Option 2; pay $100 and he will be seen when they can "get him in". This place pretty much took advantage of our pets dire situation and made a profit on it. And by reading other reviews on here, we weren't the first to go through this shakedown. Update, sadly, we weren't able to save him and had to put him down that day. But who really knows if he could have been saved. They wouldn't even let us be with him..
