Let me tell y'all that that I dunno what they made those cookies with because it was SOOOO good! Probably the best cookie I've had in quite some time. I went on a Saturday afternoon and chose the Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter, a dark chocolate cookie with peanut butter chips, the Cookies N' Cream, a sugar cookies with Oreos and white chocolate chips, and the Spiced Hot Chocolate Churro, a sugar cookie filled with Mexican hot chocolate ganache and topped with cinnamon sugar. All the cookies were served slightly warm, which was an incredible touch. The standout was the Spiced Hot Chocolate Churro - it was delicious especially when warmed up in the microwave later. First visit to any Chip City. Went with a three pack of their classic chocolate chip, triple chocolate, and their dairy free cookie butter cookie. Im a big cookie guy so I could never go wrong with stopping here. The chocolate chip was mid to be honest. Although fresh baked it wasn't moist and just have all that much flavor. The cookie butter cookie was good. Much softer than their basic chocolate chip cookie and had much more flavor. The triple chocolate cookie was the prize winner for me. Moist, soft baked, and full of flavor. Try them out but I probably won't go out of my for this place. read more

I wouldn't describe these cookies generally as gooey so if that's your style these aren't them, these are more cake like, soft and crunchy. Awesome cookie place with funny and adorable mascots plus great cookie selections including ones with fruity pebbles, a cornbread one with honey and butter (you apply yourself) and thin sliced s'mores flavored ones. Interior is very cool and also designed with said cookie mascots (and kids even draw their favorite IP like SpongeBob, Spider-Man, Mickey Mouse in cookie form). Service was great and the cashier even gave me a free water when you are expected to buy a bottled one. Their strawberry milk is also bomb and delicious! I do like the cookies and the store itself. It's very convenient for me since I can walk there. However, I found that the cookies didn't taste as fresh as I hoped. While they are lower in calories compared to Crumbl cookies, I still prefer Crumbl for their flavor. Might be a controversial opinion, but I think Chip City is better than Levain. I absolutely loved their pumpkin and dulce de leche espresso cookie. My boyfriend loved the chocolate chip cookie - and we both throughly enjoyed the cookies with a side of chilled almond milk. We felt guilty for eating such an unhealthy treat, so we ate half a cookie each and saved the other half for the following day. Will definitely return! Came across this place as I was walking around Williamsburg. The place seemed nice and clean and I was in need of caffeine. Wandering around this part of Brooklyn, was surprised to see a new outpost of Chip on the block. Barely any line inside for a Saturday afternoon, so was able to go in and make an order quickly. Decided to get the basic Chocolate Chip as well as a cup of milk (total $6ish). Cookie is fresh with a slightly crisp exterior and a gooey interior you'd come to expect. Definitely was worth getting the milk as the chocolate/sugar can get pretty intense about half way in.
