The kitchen was littered with food and gloves dropped on the floor. Obviously this restaurant rarely ever gets cleaned . I mobile ordered through the app and at pick up, it was exactly what I ordered. I should have read the reviews before making the big mistake of eating there. I don't eat out often, and when I do treat myself I like to choose something that I really enjoy. I hadn't had a burrito in some time, so I opted for Chipotle since it is about two blocks from my residence. Again, huge mistake. I ordered a chicken burrito. The chicken appeared under cooked, the texture was chewy and slimy, and was cold. After approximately four bites, I bit into a small, sharp bone fragment. Disgusting. The beans were cold as well. The cheese was not melted due to the temperature. I was very disappointed not only with the quality of the product, but also for the fact that I disposed of the burrito after a few bites. What a waste of food, time and calories. Do yourselves a favor and drive an additional half a mile down Mahoning Ave to Hot Heads; that's my plan from now on. read more

Came here for lunch on a Sunday passing through the area on a long drive back to Connecticut from Michigan. There was quite a busy crowd, but I didn't have any issues with slowness or poor quality food that other reviewers experienced. (In fact, I was almost wondering if they all reviewed the wrong Chipotle!) I was actually impressed with the speed of the assembly line of seven working the front. There was a small line but the total time I spent in it was speedy and comparable to others I've been to. I always get a veggie burrito bowl and pile it with everything down the line that isn't animal products. There were no complaints with giving me doubles of basically everything, even a little extra guacamole without charging me extra. All the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Bathroom was clean, no complaints there. Chipotle never disappoints as a healthy casual dining option. Love the fact that they're going non-GMO too! read more

I love Chiptole, but this one does suck. They are very skimpy with the foood here. If you can drive to a different location, that isnt to far away, its worth it. If I have to pay between $7_$8 for foood, you better load my bowl up, not only halfway. They always seem understaffed, and always in a hurry to be done with you. The staff arent very friendly at all, they always seem like they hate working here. Even If they have a line of 20 people waiting, they still continue to fill all the online orders first...they are always priority. If you can order online first, and skip the lines. If you order salsa & chips, they always forget to give you the,salsa, but have no problem charging for it. So check yo bag before you leave the counter. The food is great. The staff is very friendly and I've never had an issue with them. It's just that it takes FOREVER to get through the line and then they run out of things. I'm not sure that it's lack of staff- they always seem to have enough to me- but I think perhaps poor management. They should be having things on the grill and a new batch of ingredients ready to go before they even run out. That's not the case here. They scramble to get things done as fast as possible, but with people waiting on a certain meat and a line literally to the door, that's not the time to run out of things. I can't justify waiting 15-20 mins for a burrito, ok? I don't really care how good it is. NOW, when they're not busy? Then it's perfectly fine. They have all the items, you're not waiting a long time. No muss, no fuss. However it seems every time I go by as of late, they're always with a huge line. This place used to be the best chipotle around. Normally I do the online ordering just to skip the line. On average it will be ready about 30 minutes after you order it. Tonight that number was 90 minutes. So I show up on time, to see my order still on the board not even started. I would have been better off not using their online ordering app, but then again looking at the line of about 30 people and how slowly it's moving, I'm not so sure. So after waiting 10-15 minutes there for an order I placed close to 2 hours ago, I finally got my 2 burritos. I didn't even get an apology for them making me wait or any part of the process. But I wasn't alone. There were at least 3 other online orderers waiting with me. My recommendation is to either order 2 hours from when you think you will be hungry, or go someplace else. read more

I use to love Chipotle. Now the quality is poor (with gnarly bits in their steak) the quantity is near half of what it use to be, and somehow it no longer tastes the same. Love chipotle, this one however I avoid when possible!! I will drive the 15 minutes to the chipotle near the Eastwood mall from now on. Most of these Mexican grills are smart enough to work 3, maybe 2, workers on the assembly line to keep things moving. Not here. 1 person will be working the entire line so you better not be in a hurry. Skimpy meat portions and not so fresh salsa is what you'll be getting also. Often times if I'm actually ordering in I have it have them repeat 3 times what they've said. Burritos are very small. They seem quite stingy about product. I absolutely love the burrito bowls-carnitas being my favorite! I'd say about 1/3 of the time I go there, I get lucky and it's not that busy, but when it is, you wait a while. I like to order online to get my food faster, but the last couple times, they made it late, they were running behind. I don't fault the staff for it because they were trying to serve a line plus a lady in front of me who had an online order for about 15 people. I did get a free drink out of it for waiting. The food was totally fine, just like other chipotle's I've been to. The people working there were not very helpful or efficient. There were more people working behind the counter than I've ever seen yet the line was huge and it took a while to get my food even though I started with only 5 people in front of me. It was also incredibly loud which was mostly caused by the workers shouting to each other about the food. I love Chipotle! This location is sufficient enough food wise; however, it is not managed well at all as they are consistently understaffed. Went in the other night and waited 20 minutes with the line barely moving (there were at least 20 people head of me) so I left. It seems the online ordering has taken off recently and those orders have a priority over people waiting in line. There were also only 2 people working the line and you could tell they were new. My first issue with this location was appx. 7 months ago. We were waiting in line and my wife was getting her dinner before heading off to job number 2 so she was didn't have much time in between. There was one person on the line working, 2 cooking and the manager was in the lobby "wiping down tables" and talking to one of her friends that was hanging out by the entrance door. The line was full of product so there should not have been an issue and wouldn't have been an issue if more people were on the line rather than having one have to do all of the work. Finally when it came time to check my wife said "can I ask you a question? why wouldn't you have more people on the line when you are this busy?" The manager looked up at her, disregarded her question and gave her the total and had us on our way. I've worked in food industry as a cook as well as manager and I understand the stress involved but I also understand the importance of customer satisfaction... US = not satisifed. 2nd issue on a different date. My wife ordered chicken and I ordered the steak. Her bowl was greasier than normal and the when she got home she felt very sick and had stabbing pains in her stomach. She contacted your 800# to have them look into it and all they did was call back and state "we contacted them, they didn't have any other complaints." After the break out that is now all over the news, online, etc. you would think that prior to that you would have listened and maybe looked into that situation a little better than you did. 3rd issued occured on 12/21/15. I took my wife there because she is 8 months pregnant and had a hankering (it may sound like a lot of complaining going on but at the end of the day we absolutely love Chipotle). We wait in line and once again there is one guy on the line that is just running around doing all kind of work, one behind him cooking food, one that appears to be trying to fill pans but there was nothing to fill them with and I guess the rest were in the back doing something other than prepping stuff or getting customers through the line. We waited appx. 23 minutes in line and when it was our turn to go they had ran out of chicken, didn't have salad for the salad bowl but offered chopped salad which we were fine with. Because they didn't have chicken they asked that we allow others to pass which we did. Another 15 minutes passes and people behind us that didn't wait the original 23 like we did have now gotten there food and moved on. Now when the chicken is ready they don't have steak (which is what I wanted), they didn't have brown rice, they didn't have beans, they didn't have cheese and they didn't have lettuce which they said would take 5 minutes if we wanted to wait. I asked if we once again had to let people cut and the guy advised us that we did unless we were fine w/out getting the lettuce (so at this time we could get chicken with peppers and sour cream) We asked if we were going to be compensated for having to wait for the past 40 minutes plus however long we would have to wait on top and we were told no. At that time we walked out of there empty handed and EXTREMELY ticked off. read more
