I really liked the chili Colorado sauce. The service is awesome. I like the green and red sauce they give you when you get there. The sauces were really cold and the chips were warm too. Such a good combo. I really like how hot the meals are there. The food was so hot that it was still warm even after I ate the majority of my meal. This is one of my go to Mexican restaurants in BG. A Pre-Vietnam Mexican Food Mission…read more Shout out to my brother Jimmy, because I'm getting ready to head to Vietnam, and since Mexican food is his favorite, I've basically been on a self-imposed Vietnamese and Asian food drought. My logic? Save the appetite for the trip. Totally scientific. So I decided to do one last commemorative Mexican meal at Los Jalapeños in Vancouver. I went with the chicken fajita, served sizzling with all the little sides. The chips came out fresh, the salsa had just enough kick to make me pay attention, and then they brought out the bean dip. Home run. The fajitas were exactly what I was hoping for, and of course the margarita was doing its job like a professional. Service was good, the food hit the spot, and eating solo was actually part of the experiment. Consider it a little pre-test for my upcoming minimalist Vietnam adventure, where I'll be wandering around, eating, filming and figuring things out on my own. One last Mexican meal before Vietnam?
