Cross section view-loco burrito
Liz L.

3.5-4 stars. Decent portion size for price. Flavor meh. 3stars. Generous rating. I got the carne asada loco burrito. Meat was ok but not a lot of flavor. It needs salsa to carry it. Big portion and worth the price. Next time I would get it with Al pastor. I'd also ask for no lettuce and no pico (too many red onions). The onions were overpowering and blows the palate. I usually lean towards green salsa for a personal blanket preference for salsa, but since I had never been here before I asked for all of salsa options so I could decide what tastes best. Willing to pay more for extras. Roja salsa was the best. But it's tasted more like a homemade enchilada sauce and not a good red salsa. The Verde had vinegar in it for some reason. It was terrible. Rachel Ray vibes if you know what I mean. Lol. The habanero had a really nice kick to it but not a lot of flavor, kinda unfortunate. If I come back I would only order extra red salsas. Or better yet have some of my own homemade at home on deck to make it way more flavorful. I'm tired of reviews on Yelp raving that it's "the best" when it's mediocre. As a Mexican I'd beg to differ. I think a lot of spots in the area cater to the demographic and they don't have anything to compare it to. lol I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area for the portion size. I will definitely try another meat options because carne asada was flavorless. Definitely needs to up the seasoning (and I mean more than just salt!). I'm down to try tacos in different protein options so it's a quick pick to the best before I commit to a whole burrito again. Lol Service was great. Parking was a breeze. Food was ready in less than 5 minutes. That's what's got me leaning for a 4 star Yelp. It's "ok" and an option if I'm in the area and have a craving.

Chili Verde Burrito
Scott G.

Got the chili verde burrito and had to upgrade my review to 5 stars. They make a really solid chili verde and the burrito is HUGE. Took me 2 days to finish it. The staff are crazy nice too. Burritos are averaging $8-9 these days. Here they are $9.75-10.75 but the size and quality justify the costs. Tip: leave the lettuce out if you are not going to eat the whole burrito in one meal. Lettuce doesn't microwave well.

My husband tasted the Colby Jack cheese in the burrito and couldn't finish it. Surprisingly, they don't use Mexican cheeses here for their burritos. My #2 combo (3 steak tacos with rice and beans) was very mediocre. Tortillas have no flavor, steak was not good but their salsa is pretty good. We just really want this hole in the wall spot to be good and the good reviews misled us. Would not come back, sorry...

This little shop is attached to the outside of a convenience store/ gas station/ post office. I wouldn't have known this until we went to this office and could smell the aroma of Mexican food. Noticed the construction guys on the outside having lunch, it must be a good place for Mexican food! Finally we got some burritos . They don't mess around, you'll need two hands to hold on to the burritos! I got the chili verde burrito, it's large enough to share if you have tiny appetites. I don't share. A whole meal in this burrito- pork, tomatillo sauce, rice, beans and cheese, all wrapped up in flour tortilla. FYI- they charge 75 cents if you use your charge card. Outside seating on picnic tables.

Shrimp tacos

When I tell you this is the best hole in the wall food I have ever tasted! Holy smokes! Hands down the best shrimp tacos I have ever had! Thank goodness I don't live closer or I would eat here every day! Everything is made to order and quick every time. Worth the drive. Definitely a hidden gem. If you're in the area don't question it, just go. You won't regret it!

Súper súper happy with this Loco Burrito!

Our construction team went over and above and so these peeps gave our whole crew free burritos (locos). Ridiculously huge, for real. I've seen big before, but never this big! You will love this food! (We are Petros Properties, just FYI)

Combo 2 al pastor soft tacos

Authentic Mexican food is hard to come by in the PNW so I consider this a real gem. We're always satisfied with the food from tacos locos. The pricing is good for the portion sizes. Food is hot and tasty, wait time is usually short. It's more of a stand than a restaurant though, we always get it to go and eat elsewhere.

2 chicken tacos - yummy (only $2 each)

Great hidden gem! Order at the window, and take a seat. Lots of picnic tables in vicinity, or you can simply sit on your tailgate, as this spot is right in the parking lot of the local Post Office. I had 2 chicken tacos, which were on the smaller side but happened to be packed and had with lots of flavor. If you love spicy ask for 2 tubs of the red hot sauce. They also have a green one but it was quite mild. My beau got a carne asada & nopales (cactus) burrito. It was LARGE. So big! A proper meal in itself. We split a big Mexican Coke and were both terribly happy with our meal. Would love to pay more visits here if in the Salmon Creek neighborhood.

Yes! stop here for great food!

Oh my goodness! Huge, delicious burritos. Great service, too. Don't be put off by the location or appearance. Great food and reasonably priced. We will be back! Oh yeah, don't pass up the opportunity to have Mexican coke...

Chile Relleno perfection

Fast, fresh, girthy burritos. Chile Relleno burrito is the best damn thing I have ever had.

What a sleeper!! Outstanding service! Our host sat us and brought us chips and salsa quickly, then within a few minutes we actually had one of the owners, Josè, come by and ask how we heard about the place and take our drink orders. He explained that this is their second location (first one is in West Linn), they don't use any MSG or frozen food, and they only have one fried dish on their menu. We ordered house margaritas and taquitos from the happy hour menu, and the molcajete. Everything was fresh and delicious! We got a 2nd round of margaritas, they make their own mix in house and they were so tasty! We went at 5pm, so they weren't super busy yet, but there were still quite a few tables filled. The place is bright and clean.

Spanish speaking staff. Warm chips and good salsa. Decent rice and beans. The not so good: taco shells were not made on site, seem to be from a package. The margarita was not tasty, the mix was off and the house tequila was not so good. I could only finish half of it. Being my first time, I asked for her recommendation from the hostess on what to order? Instead of rising to the occasion, she immediately said I don't eat meat then proceeded to tell me about all the high dollar meat items. lol I could not take her recommendation to heart. I went with a somewhat safe bet of two crunchy tacos. The rice and beans were decent. The shells were crispy but flavorless. The salsa and chips were decent. The chips were warm. I finished the two tacos half the margarita and left. Would I go back here again? Probably not, with so many places to eat in this area, but I had to give it a shot. I overheard the table next to me complaining about their fajitas. The gentleman said "this is just Chuck steak" and I had to laugh out loud before I left. Disclaimer. I live in San Diego and judge Mexican food for its face value. I was not impressed. But maybe be i was there on an off night?
