We have been customers of this location for 7 years. In the past, the meals have rated a 3.5 average. Our most recent experience was a delivery that was a very bad experience. The driver was standing on our porch with a brown paper bag that was dripping liquid profusely onto the porch. The bag was falling apart and I had to place a bath towel under it before bringing it into the house. The food was between cold and lukewarm even though it arrived at our house at the promised time. We had a total of 3 items, all cold and it was right at $50.00 with delivery and tip. It was not worth $15.00. read more

I always get extra dressing with my salads and never been charged. The quality in food for which chipotle prides itself on is lacking at this location. The chicken is either too many big pieces, chewy and often times grainy. We've given this location many chances and they have screwed up our orders on multiple occasions. Often times one or two of the items is located in one section of the burrito or other items are too much. For example I ordered a burrito bowl with sour cream; it appeared that they were very heavy handed on the sour cream. Burrito tortillas are hard by the time we pick them up and bring it home to eat - which is about 15 minutes difference from the time the order is ready and consumed. For the price, I would go elsewhere- chipotle is losing its touch! read more

I came here for dinner. This was my second time within the month to come back to this location. The food is fresh, hot and delicious. I ordered a chicken bowl and a steak burrito both with guacamole! I couldn't eat anything with jalapeño, which was a lot of the options, but Megan and staff was so sweet to me and helped me figure out what to eat with plenty of sampling. I ordered the same meal in store that I usually order online at the Baytown location and was overcharged. I brought it to the female cashier's attention, she couldn't explain to me what I was charged for, I showed her the usual price it is when I order online for pickup at the Baytown location for the same exact meal, she then called a male over who proceeded to try to refund me something without explaining what he was refunding and when I asked for details on what he was refunding he felt the best way to communicate was by speaking loudly at me because I asked him to explain what he doing. I understand those individuals do not reflect the franchise but they are a representation of the company and what customers will have to deal with when trying to order and pay for a meal. I no longer recommend this location due to them overcharging in store for the same exact meal you can order online to pick up at the same exact location for the correct price as listed online. My order is usually $16.67 with tax included, but this time my order was $22.62 although I always order the same thing. read more

I enjoy the rice bowl, at times... The meat portions vary greatly, and such is quite disappointing. There are also times that the rice is a bit gummy. However, the ingredients seem to be fresh and continuously replenished. Be careful because while one item seems pretty reasonable here, your tab can add up if you're charged for everything on the side (guac was over $1!). As an east coast girl, I loveeee Chipotle. All the ingredients are fresh, the seasoning on the rice and the chicken are amazing, and the combination of everything is delicious! This Chipotle is no different. I also love that this place does NOT skimp on the ingredients - and on top of that you don't get charged for any extra ingredients except meat and guac! I will say though, this is not the place to order the off-the-secret-menu quesarito (burrito with quesadilla as the outer layer). First because they won't do it during lunch because it takes too long (potentially reasonable), and second because they charge you $16 for it (completely ridiculous). The burrito is $6.75 and the quesadilla is $6.75 so I'm not sure how combining the two costs MORE than getting a whole burrito and whole quesadilla separately (if anything you save them a tortilla). Anyway I know another Chipotle does them for $11 so definitely going there for the quesarito instead. Anyway - this is still a Chipotle so the food is great and the service time is even better! You would think I would learn my lesson but nope! I gave chipolte another try and took my sister right along with me! Mind you this the second time I talked her into it only to for her to be disappointed again? Why oh why oh why...can you guys not keep your food hot? How hard can it be? Really! Not asking for much? Heck warm would tickle me? We both ordered a bowls and for 12.95 I got screwed big time! I don't like my salsa and guac on top so I asked to have it on the side? Big mistake! Not realizing and not being toward I would be charged for a small quac! Would be nice to be told but ok! What's not ok is to give me 2 tablespoons of steak and 2 of chicken which I was charged extra for which I knew but don't give me a total of 4tb of meat along with 2 tb of rice and get this! A sprinkle of cheese? When I asked for a bit more the gal was put off! Again a little sprinkle? Ridiculous! My sister she got a different gal and hers was a bit better but it was COLD too! Meat, rice, beans all of it was cold! Plus she was also charged for quac too? And charged for ex chicken she didn't ask for nor did it look like a lot? She asked for a tortilla and never got it? But boy the next group of people got huge burritos and bowls filled with fresh hot meat/food! Yup! We set beside the line you order and got a look at just how bad our meal was compared to what they got! And finally with 5 people on the line for the food to be cold and almost empty and messy! New store and it just seemed messy! Not a good look Chipolte! And definitely not the way to do business! Our bill was 43. Dollars. At this location they gave the smallest portion of guac I've ever seen. When I asked for a regular amount they said this was the "standard" portion size.. never heard this from any location. I've stopped in here several times since their opening. It's always a nice place to grab a quick bite. Always clean. Most of our visits have always had fresh food (although the peppers/and onions are always looking so sad and old!) Looking back, the only time I had a small issue, was the guac wasn't mashed properly and I had huge avocado chunks in my cup. They were quick to give an apology and some of a new batch. I decided at 9:50pm that I wanted Chipotle..so I ended up sliding in at 9:55pm, a few minutes before closing time. I assumed and accepted that I'd be met with unfriendly employees along with food that wasn't at it's freshest state. Turns out when you assume..you make an ..you know the story. Instead I was met with the friendliest gentleman who asked me how I was, how my evening was going, etc. He also have generous servings of everything! The cashier was also equally as friendly. I took my food back to the hotel down the road..and it was just as fresh & delicious as always. I couldn't even finish my meal because that guy gave me so much. I have always received good service. So tonight we decided to order on line. We paid for extra toppings and ask for some to be left off. Well none of it happened as ask. We actually paid for more than we received. We should have opened each order to see that it was correct. We had to ask for the chips. If they would have been really busy I would not be upset. I have been to several chipotles around Houston and this one tends to cook everything with so much oil!!! You can actually see the oil glisten off the rice, the veggies and the chicken. After eating a bowl, I am left with a thick oily residue in my mouth and throat and get sick to my stomach about 1-2 hrs later. I have to rinse my mouth with water to get all the oil out. I'm a health nut and was hoping chipotle would be a healthy alternative in Baytown but after eating there I'm not so sure anymore. Going to bring my lunch for now on. Hope you guys read this and consider using less oil. read more

I like the food at Chipotle, but as I walk into the Baytown restaurant I get angry. Every time I either pick up trash going in or going out. I asked the restaurant manager if someone could go out and pick up the trash and she said ok. They were not busy and the servers being the counter were standing there talking. After eating I went out and picked up the trash and I bet it took me less than 5 minutes. I told the manager I had picked up the trash and she said thank you. I will not go back to the restaurant. I am on a committee called Keep Baytown Beautiful and there is no way I can walk by their trash. This is what our committee does for the community. This Our favorite restaurant. My daughter and I go there almost everyday and the customer service is awesome. One night I forgot my debit card at home and I sat in the car looking for money. I found enough to get half of my order. I jokingly told the manager, Stephanie Cerda, and she gave my daughter and I a complementary meal and some buy one get one free coupons. I was so grateful...
