I ran in Bullritos for takeout after work. There was no one there, but I waited quite awhile. No big deal, they were friendly. Unfortunately, I did not look at the meal they prepared before I left. The soft flour tortillas were definitely still soft and white. Usually it has been browned on the skillet, but it was gummy and tasted like it came out of the wrapper. the smallest portions i have ever saw from a bullritos in my life.. i recommend driving a little farther and going to a different location for sure. they charge probably at least $2 for guacamole and give u the littlest amount.. and also barely any lettuce.. they need to make the cooks do everything the same way because sometimes it's a good portion of everything and sometimes there is barley anything at all. also they meat was very very rough, tasted burnt,very hard to chew, and multiple pieces of fatty steak. read more

Tex-Mex in a bag?? Heck muthatruckin yeah! I love places that are always fast, have fresh food, and good service. This Bullritos fits the bill. Conveniently located in the heart of La Porte on Underwood and Spencer, you'll find this tex-mexican haven. The lunch rush is exactly that, with a fair share of people waiting to get their grub on. The line moves pretty fast and I have to commend the folks working the line, as they get orders out the door very fast. I opted for the chicken fajita bowl and was very happy with it. It was loaded with chicken and the corn salsa was fantastic. I also ordered it with the habanero and tomatillo sauce, which could have afforded an extra kick. For my palate, it was not spicy enough. The cilantro - lime rice was pretty good and the charro beans were perfect! they had the smoky bacon flavor to them that set this bowl over the top. Personally, I was content with my choice. The parking can be a bit tricky considering they share a lot with Gringo's which is always packed. But will this deter me from returning? Absolutely not! I think this place has much improved - or maybe it's that I quit getting red meat and started getting chicken fajita in my burrito bowls? It's always been fast, but with the intro of online ordering and an in-store kiosk you can order from, it's even faster now. The rewards program rocks. If you are on their mailing list you'll usually be notified of days to get free points (usually near a work holiday) and sent coupons for free drink, chips, etc. And now they have this nifty drink machine that will make you a cola with any number of flavorings. read more

I hadn't heard such great things about Bullritos, so I was skeptical. When I walked in, I was surprised to find out that it's Which Wich style- write your order with a red marker on a paper bag specifying which ingredients/style/toppings you prefer, and pick it up when they finish and call your name. I found this to be much faster and easier than walking slowly through the line, watching each burrito-artist add things one at a time. Also, they have one of those fancy high-tech Coke machines that allows you to add all sorts of flavors and options to your sodas. Something like up to 200 possible combinations! I had too much fun with this. The actual burrito itself wasn't bad. I'd definitely pick Chipotle and Freebird's over this place anyday, just because I think their ingredients taste fresher and are overall better quality, but I'll come back to Bullritos too, since it's close to my work. read more

The menu is on the bag you go home with, so it is simple to understand and there are just enough options to not be overwhelmed with. The service is prompt. The frozen lemonade drink is delicious. During lunch, the dining area fills up, so there are not many places to sit. Any other time, it is a nice place to sit down to eat. Two TVs on the wall and music blasting. I chose to eat here despite some less than favorable reviews, which are probably outdated. I really like the food! The portions are much larger than I expected. The ingredients were fresh, and the choice of options is almost unlimited. I have eaten at the downtown location, which I really should write a review on, and find this location far superior. What can I say it's Bullritos. Everyone in my office seems to go there. Literally when ever we have guests come from other branches you can pretty much bet they head here as well. It's got great service, it's clean, decently fast, and the food is pretty good.I will mention that recently I went in and wanted to load down my burrito with extra meat, but figured something was going to get sacrificed if I went that route. I asked the lady at the register about it, and she recommended the bowl as they're usually bigger portions anyway and can fit more in it. At first I was hesistant. Especially after comparing it to my buddies burrito when we got it, but I have to say it filled me up all the same. One of the big pluses here is the ice cream. I'm not usually a soft serve guy after my meal, but there's is pretty good. if you're in a pinch and trying to grab something quick at a great price and some what healthy then this is your spot. read more

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! This is the burrito place you want to go to. I have tried most of the other burrito places such as Free Birds, Mission Burrito, Chipotle, and even the ones in the Atlanta area and this is by far the best. When you enter you get a bag and a pen. Then you check the items you want. The "fixings" are plentiful and seem to taste alot fresher than the others. You get to choose wheather you have the "healthy lunch" or the "give it all to me" dinner. Chips and Guacamole are extra but, it's a good overall value. It has a loft type appearance with it's exposed brick wall and industrial materials. It's a great place to take the kids too. They have a pint sized table with bags and pens for them to fill out their own order. The place is very clean and they have very friendly staff as well. We have been there numerous times and take quite a few of our family and friends. Although this one is in La Porte, I hear that they will soon be popping up all over Houston. Awesome burrito place. I was a Chipotle fan until my wife brought me here. There is more choices for the tortilla, beans, cheese, meats, and they have jalapenos. Even though it wasn't hot enough with the habanero tomatillo sauce, they have chalula sauce at every table which should make it hot enough for you. I didn't like the ordering process at first (kind of like Which Wich where you have multiple choice on the bag), but I have become very fond of it since my order has always been accurate. And if you are the type who won't eat bread, the have a bowl which comes salad or nacho style. I have never been to Freebirds or Mission Burrito, but if Chipotle is much more popular than those guy's there is no reason to even try them. Definitely my favorite fast food place to eat. Only 6.29 for a burrito, quick service, great ambiance, and some locations have free ice cream which will make any kid want to skip the nasty nuggets. Although I do have one bad comment, the bathroom is just a one seater; I believe they utilize most of there space for seating. read more
