Simply put, it's the worst run Chipotle I've ever been to. The regularly run out of just about every ingredient on a regular basis. Everything from lettuce, salsas, taco shells, and even chicken and steak. And when I say run out I do not mean they need to make more. I mean they do not have any until the next delivery. In addition to that the burritos and quesadillas are often poorly wrapped and folded. Usually I enjoy chipotle, but today the experience was horrible. my organization had a percentage night planned where a certain amount of the proceeds went towards ALS research. This chipotle failed to tell their employees about it and decided to cancel it without even telling us. I've worked in fast food and service industry for a while so I understand it can be stressful. That being said, Line was really backed up to the door (which is not a problem at all). Except, they were ignoring all of the people in line to make online orders. Got up to the front and tried to order, and the employee was pretty rude about telling me they wouldn't give me any cheese, even though there was a bucket of it, because they were only using it for online orders. Smaller portions than usual, no peppers and onions, tasteless guacamole, and gross brown chunk of avocado hidden in guacamole (see pic). Won't return until I see some positive reviews. This is the second time my order has been messed up. First time they lost my ticket. Waited for over 30 minutes. Second time, half of it was filled with things I did not ask for. Chipotle has finally arrived in Boone! It is one of the best Mexican places in town. Great, fresh food and fast service! The service is excellent. Friendly employees and the restaurant is nicely decorated. Only complaint is the restrooms were a little dirty. I recommend the quesadilla. Absolutely appalled. When we first walked in, there were numerous signs with "no guac and rice" on the counter. First of all, how do you serve food without a base grain at a Mexican based restaurant? Whatever, I ordered my food without rice or guac and proceeded to sit at a filthy table that hadn't been cleaned off which makes no sense because there are more than capable people working that can do their jobs. While my friends and I ate, we watched the workers proceed to start closing 20 minutes before closing time and take rice and guac for themselves. So basically, they told everybody there was none left and saved it all for themselves. Fucking ridiculous. This is as close to healthy fast food as it gets! I love to get a salad and customize it the way I choose. The staff are quick, efficient, and friendly, and I feel that I get a good quality product for my money. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that though the facility appears to be sanitary, the dining room is always in disarray, even if it isn't busy. We have visited this location many times. Today, we ordered on line and were greatly disappointed. The burrito bowls were about 1/3 less than we usually get on a serving. The food was good but very scant for the price. If a restaurant is offering take out, the food should be the same portion size and quality as if we ate in the restaurant. The Chipotle in Boone is the first one I've ever tried, and honestly I was hooked from the beginning. Sure there are usually lines but it is definitely worth it. Everything here always tastes fresh and it's usually very clean despite how busy they usually are. Normally everyone is super nice and the food is wonderful but today the rice was severely undercooked, the service was horrible and I ended up throwing most of my burrito away. The girl checking us out was rude, dismissive, forgot to give us our drinks and ignored us when we went back for them- when she did notice us she slammed water cups on the counter and went back to sweeping the floors. Employees can be hit or miss, depending on how their day is going. It frustrates me when the burrito rollers end up leaving the sour cream/guacamole on the outside part of the tortilla and have it end up leaking out of the foil. Not a ton of seating indoors but the outside has a handful of tables with ample seats. If you order online you can skip to the front of the line and have your burrito rolled by one of the professionals if you get there a little before your pick up time (recommended) or have it waiting for you and walk out the door in 2 minutes. read more

There are frequently long lines, but it's been open about a week so that's to be expected. Once the "newness" dies down and the staff gets some more experience it will be more efficient. I am a long-time Chipotle fan from living in another state. Although it's technically fast food it is healthier than most places and they have a commitment to fresh and clean ingredients. I went to the new Boone location and the food tasted just as good as at any previous franchise I've visited. Once they get their liquor license so I can enjoy a beer with my burrito I'll be even more excited that Chipotle finally made its way to Boone! read more

Lemme tell you the worst chipotle I have ever been to. I got there at around 7:30 on a weeknight and noticed some closing cleaning taking place, nothing wrong with that. I understand as a food service employee myself that you want to get closing duties done as soon as possible. What was not okay was the fact that when I tried to order guacamole (the tin for it was empty and completely clean) the server replied "oh it was a busy night we ran out". First this is not how you reply to a customer and two why would Chipotle be all out of guacamole at probably the busiest time of night, 7:30. I also tried to get salsa verde, which once again was empty and clean. The same response. This once again made no sense since it wasn't even close to closing time. It soon became clear that they were pretty much being lazy, and not preparing more guacamole and sauces due to wanting to close early. It also took almost 5 min for a cashier to ring me up because once again they were too busy doing their closing duties. Not only is this horrible customer service but I don't think corporate would like to know they're loosing money due to employees not doing their job (guacamole is extra which means more money for Corp). I will not be giving this chipotle my business and suggest you do the same. Need new employees or closing code because this one currently isn't working. read more

I like chipotle as a business, but almost every time I've been to the one here in boone, the employees all seem to have an attitude. My friend and i just got burritos to go and neither of us could even finish eating it without a fork because it was so poorly made. They were overstuffed and fell apart halfway through. I understand there are lots of young kids there, many of whom are being trained and if you mess up my meal and its an honest mistake and you have a good attitude then it's okay, i'm an understanding person. However if you're also going to have a bad attitude to me while you umess up my meal - then it is completely unacceptable. I work in the food industry and i dont have a rude attitude towards customers and genuinely want to make the customer happy, chipotle obviously does not look for these traits in employees. read more
