Everytime I have come in they are so rude to me for no reason. Acted put out for having to make a bowl.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE, I know its a common issue with Chipotles around the country but I feel like this one is especially stingy when it comes to portions through online orders. I am an avid enjoyer of burritos and I have no complaints when I go inside but when there is a significantly noticeable difference between online and in store orders then it is a problem. The absolute worst place to eat in Boone NC. We got so sick from this place They we're out of most stuff and the front counter and we're all acting like customers were a bother to the staff. This location always struggles with a lot of things. They are always out of something or get an order wrong. We stopped going but occasionally we break down and try again hoping for the best. A shame. Good luck trying to call if you have an issue. The automated system is a heck of a gatekeeper and no matter what you say (when prompted) it says "I need more information". You WILL NOT get through on the phone. Tonight's meal (also with some missing ingredients) included cold cheese dip, the smallest "large" bag of chips I've ever seen (barely filled 1/4 of the way) and an $8.50 cheese quesadilla, with almost no cheese, and completely burnt. Had to make an alternative meal for a 2 year old after all - when the whole idea of crossing fingers and hoping for the best with Chipotle tonight was to take a night off from cooking. Don't want to answer the phone? Don't blame you. Guess you would get a lot of complaints. That's fine. I'll be making a trip back with pictures of what someone looked at and said "yep, I'm okay serving that". I also watched a couple burritos being wrapped while I was in line. Feel sorry for those people. They are in for an unpleasant surprise of a pile of food wrapped in foil with a tortilla shell shoved in the side. Clearly they haven't been trained how to wrap a burrito... or just don't care. If this were a college and tourist town, this location would already be closed ... maybe it should be closed if you can't do any better than what we've experienced many times over the last few years. read more

Simply put, it's the worst run Chipotle I've ever been to. The regularly run out of just about every ingredient on a regular basis. Everything from lettuce, salsas, taco shells, and even chicken and steak. And when I say run out I do not mean they need to make more. I mean they do not have any until the next delivery. In addition to that the burritos and quesadillas are often poorly wrapped and folded. All around poorly managed, but it is the only one within an hour so they really don't have to provide quality service. read more

Usually I enjoy chipotle, but today the experience was horrible. my organization had a percentage night planned where a certain amount of the proceeds went towards ALS research. This chipotle failed to tell their employees about it and decided to cancel it without even telling us. I've worked in fast food and service industry for a while so I understand it can be stressful. That being said, Line was really backed up to the door (which is not a problem at all). Except, they were ignoring all of the people in line to make online orders. Got up to the front and tried to order, and the employee was pretty rude about telling me they wouldn't give me any cheese, even though there was a bucket of it, because they were only using it for online orders. This is the second time my order has been messed up. First time they lost my ticket. Waited for over 30 minutes. Second time, half of it was filled with things I did not ask for. Not sure what is happening here now but well below Chipotle standard. Smaller portions than usual, no peppers and onions, tasteless guacamole, and gross brown chunk of avocado hidden in guacamole (see pic). Won't return until I see some positive reviews. Chipotle has finally arrived in Boone! It is one of the best Mexican places in town. Great, fresh food and fast service! The service is excellent. Friendly employees and the restaurant is nicely decorated. Only complaint is the restrooms were a little dirty. I recommend the quesadilla. Absolutely appalled. When we first walked in, there were numerous signs with "no guac and rice" on the counter. First of all, how do you serve food without a base grain at a Mexican based restaurant? Whatever, I ordered my food without rice or guac and proceeded to sit at a filthy table that hadn't been cleaned off which makes no sense because there are more than capable people working that can do their jobs. While my friends and I ate, we watched the workers proceed to start closing 20 minutes before closing time and take rice and guac for themselves. So basically, they told everybody there was none left and saved it all for themselves. Fucking ridiculous. I've eaten at many Chipotles over the years. I put this one at the bottom of the list. Why? The first time they were out of soft tortillas. That's like McDonalds being out of fries. I used to love chipotle I would eat it atleast once a week until I moved to Boone and ate at this location. I've given you multiple chances. (Too many) And every time I'm let down. Every time I've eaten at this location ive got extremely ill the next day. Employees are rude. Food is stale. RICE IS ALWAYS UNDERCOOKED!! And expensive af for lettuce beans and meat. This is as close to healthy fast food as it gets! I love to get a salad and customize it the way I choose. The staff are quick, efficient, and friendly, and I feel that I get a good quality product for my money. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that though the facility appears to be sanitary, the dining room is always in disarray, even if it isn't busy. We have visited this location many times. Today, we ordered on line and were greatly disappointed. The burrito bowls were about 1/3 less than we usually get on a serving. The food was good but very scant for the price. If a restaurant is offering take out, the food should be the same portion size and quality as if we ate in the restaurant. The Chipotle in Boone is the first one I've ever tried, and honestly I was hooked from the beginning. Sure there are usually lines but it is definitely worth it. Everything here always tastes fresh and it's usually very clean despite how busy they usually are. Employees can be hit or miss, depending on how their day is going. It frustrates me when the burrito rollers end up leaving the sour cream/guacamole on the outside part of the tortilla and have it end up leaking out of the foil. Not a ton of seating indoors but the outside has a handful of tables with ample seats. If you order online you can skip to the front of the line and have your burrito rolled by one of the professionals if you get there a little before your pick up time (recommended) or have it waiting for you and walk out the door in 2 minutes. read more

There are frequently long lines, but it's been open about a week so that's to be expected. Once the "newness" dies down and the staff gets some more experience it will be more efficient. I am a long-time Chipotle fan from living in another state. Although it's technically fast food it is healthier than most places and they have a commitment to fresh and clean ingredients. I went to the new Boone location and the food tasted just as good as at any previous franchise I've visited. Once they get their liquor license so I can enjoy a beer with my burrito I'll be even more excited that Chipotle finally made its way to Boone! read more

Normally everyone is super nice and the food is wonderful but today the rice was severely undercooked, the service was horrible and I ended up throwing most of my burrito away. The girl checking us out was rude, dismissive, forgot to give us our drinks and ignored us when we went back for them- when she did notice us she slammed water cups on the counter and went back to sweeping the floors. I paid 9$ for a horrible burrito and a water cup. Overall really horrible service day. read more

I'm not a Chipotle regular so I can't compare this to others in the chain. It was crowded and the wait was prolonged a little by having to wait for the cashier to make margaritas, which I find weird. It was relatively clean and the staff was friendly. read more
