I love chipotle, and even with the overall cost of eating out increasing, I've remained loyal to this location, even after negative experiences repeatedly happening like many of the prior reviewers have stated. Tonight was a final straw moment for me; the employee at the front of the line told me that other than fajita veggies and chicken al pastor, they had every item in stock (as locals know, this is rare for the Boone location to not be out of at least 1-3 items regularly). After building my bowl and getting to the end of the line I asked for chips and a side of guac, at which point the employee building my bowl was informed by a coworker that they had no tortilla chips (didn't address me or apologize in any form). The chips and guacamole are one of the most pleasant experiences about a chipotle restaurant, so I was disappointed that the employee building my bowl did not even make the effort to ensure they had the ingredient or try to make it right. They also didn't address this fact other than asking me "so, do you still want your side of guacamole?" Don't waste your time going to this location, you'd be better off, driving to the next nearest one which is 40+ miles away, where they can manage to keep simple items like chicken, guacamole, and peppers in stock (not to mention the Boone location is next to a Walmart). If the franchise owner has any pride or human dignity left in their sorry sack of bones, they would to keep standards up. I think this location needs a serious evaluation and the owner should be ashamed that they would dare call this a "restaurant", as nothing here resembles customer service or even basic human kindness. We came here for the buy one get one free the day before Thanksgiving. The girl Naveya who helped us first was awesome, great personality, fun, personable. I don't know if it was the manager who was being rude to customers and employees, she looked a little on the younger side and was yelling at Naveya to switch with someone else when it was already super busy... no need to switch spots with another person on the line. I came to chipotle tonight July/30/2025 and have been coming here for a few years now as I've lived in Boone. I have never once had a good experience with this place past 7pm. I'd like to start by saying the food is definitely good no problems there. The problem lies with the workers and their attitudes. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with eye rolls and mad faces. Who in their right mind as a business owner lets their workers close an hour and a half early? therefore cutting off options to people that would profit the store... I was going to order a quesadilla but the machine had already been cleaned by 8:30?! I've cleaned these machines before and it does not take that long. After I had sat waiting for a few minutes for someone to care I had been there, I told them what I wanted and my bowl just got pushed to the end and then I waited again to be checked out. Thank god that the utensils were actually stocked this time because every other time it wasn't. I understand wanting to close early I really do but an hour and a half is entirely way too soon. I don't know if this place is in need of new management or less grumpy app state kids but something is not right. Seriously this is not a hard job all you have to do it throw some meat on a grill. Put food in a bowl etc.and stock things??? Some of the staff that work here are total assholes. I ordered my food online. Picked it up and brought it home to find out that they put no chicken on my $12.00 bowl. I drove back to this location to get ignored while I waited for them to acknowledge me with my incomplete order. When I spoke up to tell them to that they didn't put chicken on my bowl, the girl didn't ask me what type of chicken It was. She rolled her eyes scooped a random portion of chicken into a Togo bowl gave it to me with the lid half off and then went back to ignoring me.
