If I could give no reviews I would. Very rude staff. The manager is even worse. Just go to subway.

Basil's was recommended to me for their fresh, house-made pasta! We got the:…read more - Eggplant Frites: Probably my favorite dish! Granted I love anything eggplant haha but these fries were crispy on the outside and soft inside; well-seasoned and I loved the garlicky aioli. - Goat Cheese and Pancetta Salad: A close second favorite- it was so tasty (had spring mix, crispy brussels, pancetta, pepitas, goat cheese, fig vinaigrette), had a great combination of sweet/savory, and lots of texture. - Mushroom Marsala: This was the best pasta dish imo. The mushrooms & sauce provided a lot of umami and the pappardelle had good texture. For all the pasta dishes, a bigger piece of bread would have been appreciated to slop up all the delicious sauce haha. - Pasta Rossa: The sauce was tomato-y and creamy, but wish there could have been more/bigger meatballs and that a different pasta than pappardelle was used. - Chicken Alfredo: Honestly, I'm not a big fan of Alfredo at baseline bc it's usually too rich for me but my sister liked it. The fettuccine had nice texture and chicken was cooked well. - Duck Sliders: I probably would not recommend this dish- I think the duck is hard to appreciate in slider format (kinda just tasted like chicken lol). The chips were a bit soggy too. Lots of free parking available. Ambiance is really nice, modern and lots of natural light. Service is friendly and fast. 7.5/10 would recommend!

Boone Bagelry - Bagelicious with egg, bacon, ham, and Swiss cheese on a wonderfully soft and chewy pumpernickel bagel. Mmmm.

The bagels (I got an egg everything) were still somehow flavorless. An everything MUST have salt- it's non negotiable. In lieu of that- adding a touch of salt to the cream cheese would have helped. Salt is not meant to make things salty but to bring out the flavors of the food. Without it- it's one note bland. Pancakes were decent but for a bagel place please make the bagels more edible. Had a decent cream cheese ratio though but because it was all flavorless it didn't really matter. Simple tweak but can probably make this place really solid

There is seating inside and out. Definitely a no frills spot- cutlery is plastic, plates and cups were paper, coffee came in to-go paper cups. The food was fine- nothing special. The bagels didn't taste as homemade as I expected. They did have a large menu and offered a lot of breakfast items- more than just bagels. The service seemed a bit slow for what we ordered, but it looked like a ton of people were waiting in the lobby, so they may get a lot of to-go orders that backed up the kitchen. The waitress was nice!

Haven't had it in a while so I got a plate - about the same size i always get that usually rings up (by weight) $7-$8. Today it was over $13. Don't give me that inflation crap. It should be double. For that price I can get a full combo from an actual asian restaurant around the corner. Also...it tasted...old. Maybe it was an off day but that doesn't change the price. I always grabbed a tall can of Arizona tea from the deli coolers. They have replaced those with their own HT brand (half the size, 50% more expensive). Meat department is one of the better in town as far as selection but the guys in the meat department are all jerks. They always act like anything you ask for is a real interruption to their day. One guy (was his name Ed???) is the worst. A manager overheard our interaction once a while back and stopped me a couple aisles over to apologize and see what he heard was not acceptable and he would be addressing it. Guess he hasn't or it didn't help. Better deals other places but if you want a better selection or specialty items you might find them here. I'll keep buying the staples other places and hit HT for only the things I can't get elsewhere.
