Folks in the area we were looking forward to good places to eat and I feel this Chipotle has let us down. I tried to grab a quick dinner for my family the other night at around 5:30PM. Placed an family/group meal for pick up. When arriving to pick up it took several workers to find the order, on back counter. After getting to sick relative's home to have meal, the paper bowls were dirty (not just top bowl but 3 out 5). Cheese had mold on it. Chips were stale and there was a lady bug/ beetle in the bag of tortilla They forgot the additional Queso sauce I purchased and it was a request from the Ill person I visited request. :( read more

I went there earlier this week and NO one was in the restaurant and still had to wait because all the workers were doing prep work and other orders, while I just stood there until one of the line cooks finally apologized and stopped what he was doing to help me (he was awesome!). Then my app wasn't working and the cashier who finally came to help couldn't even tell me if I could scan or use my receipt for points... (isn't that part of training)? They should know the answers to simple questions. Today, I wanted a quesadilla and ordered again through the app (thinking it would be better) and went there AFTER my time and there's a car in front of me, then I come up right behind, to the window and the girl there just finished an ENTIRE order (more than 5 minutes) while I watched her instead of helping me, should be training on "HELP THE PEOPLE IN FRONT OF YOU" than future orders. (Thought this would be common sense but not as I waited, so might want to let staff know that). Finally, after my own DOUBLE shift come home to eat and then find out my quesadilla is COMPLETELY burnt on one side and is so disgusting I couldn't even eat it! I tip EVERY TIME as I am a server, BUT NEVER AGAIN, I am so disappointed and want a refund as I had to throw it away because it was so burnt and tasted horrid! This week hasn't been the best but they have had MANY errors I have overlooked but CANNOT anymore after today! So upset!!! read more

My veggie bowl used to be full. The last 3 times it was a bowl of rice with toppings lightly sprinkled on top, even when I order extra. I'm not even ordering meat and they can't fill the bowl? Real mexican restaurants are a better value and also do take-out. read more

Buffalo, MN Chipotle: Where Burrito Dreams Go to Die I wanted to love this place. I really did. A Chipotle in town? Finally! But after a few visits, I can confidently say: the 2-star rating is generous. This isn't Chipotle--it's Crapotle, and that's not just clever wordplay from another reviewer, it's a public service announcement. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was interrupting a food funeral. The steak tray was a desolate wasteland--dry, overcooked scraps clinging to the bottom like they were trying to escape. The Sofritas? Same story. I mean if they were trying to figure out how to make tofu into cardboard that's been left out in the sun, they've mastered it. Along with the Steak and Sofrito bowl I ordered a Carnitas bowl. Asked for double on the proteins. What I got wouldn't pass for a single scoop at any other Chipotle. I had to question every portion--rice, beans, you name it. It felt less like ordering a burrito and more like negotiating a hostage release. I gave this place multiple chances. Each time, I left disappointed and slightly offended. If I were the manager, I'd be losing sleep. If I want Chipotle now, I'll wait until I'm in the Cities--where the food is edible and the staff doesn't treat rice and beans like they're rare minerals. AVOID. SERIOUSLY. Look at the reviews. This is the most horribly managed restaurant I have seen in years. Chipotle has zero interest in fixing it. Today, against my better judgment, I gave them a 2nd chance. They had only 1 kind of salsa, no cheese, no lettuce. At the final station, out of 12 ingredients, they had 2. When I asked about it, the employee was really rude and said, do you want something that is in front of you. I asked if their drive through had cheese, and again, she just repeated to me to pick something that was in front of me. When I asked for a discount(seriously, no cheese?!?!?), they said rudely that they don't discount when out of free stuff. I mean, you can't make this up. This was 1130am on a Friday. I walked out. Delicious food just like all Chipotle's. Starbucks is just next door and the owners are the same ones who own the Starbucks/Chipotle side by side restaurants in St. Michael and Monticello MN. Can get busy at night since it's on hwy 25. They do tend to run out of food options but service is still amazing!!! read more

I placed an online pickup order for 3 bowls, and after i got home and opened up my bowl, I was shocked to see that it was barely half full. All of the bowls were like this, and one was missing some of the ingredients. I was truly shocked and disappointed that my chipotle would take advantage of how I decided to place a pickup order, instead of ordering it in person. I decided to talk to there virtual AI assistant "Pepper" who was no help at all. I did not get any discount, refund, or apology's at all. Do not go here or do not place a pick up order. read more

I've ordered from Buffalo Chipotle a few times. Three times I only got a partial order . The food is also sub par, the meat is so dry . The most disappointing thing is it's impossible to do anything about. I have found no way to reach the store itself. They always guide you to something called Pepper. I've followed all the directions on Pepper and it never works. I'm always cut off half way through my conversation. Terrible customer service! In fact customer service is non existent.
