I've been going to this Chipotle location for at least a few times a month (maybe even a few times a week) for the past 3 years. At first it was decent. But recently, they have been going downhill. For starters - on multiple occasions, the chips have been stale, or under cooked. I've been having to ask for extra and other topping because I feel like they are skimping a bit. I went for lunch today and ordered my usual, chicken bowl with the fixin's and chips. They gave me good portions because again, I asked for it. However, with that being said, the rice (I got brown rice), was WAY overcooked. Extremely mushy. To the point that someone without teeth or that have a hard time chewing, could eat this since it was so mushy. very disappointing. I also ordered a large chips. I asked if they had any because I only saw the regular size - the cashier assured me that there was large sizes. I got back to my work to discover he had given me a regular size chips. Which would have been fine, except he charged me for a large! Not a great experience today. Might have to find another location if this keeps happening. read more

The lettuce being well beyond bad with them trying to serve it to me and the clumps of cheese in my bowl weren't the worst part of my experience at this chipotle location. The customer service from one of the crew members was one of the worst experiences I've had anywhere. I walked into chipotle to get some delicious food, and unfortunately walked out pissed off because of the way I was spoken to. If a crew member is that pissed off, stay in the back and have someone else help on the line. This location used to be 5 stars but has turned into a joke. My husband picked up a bowl for me with rice beans avocado veggies salsa and sour cream and the employee flipped it over when putting it in the bag so it was all a mess when it got home. He put wayyyyy too much sour cream so not only did it look unappetizing but it wasn't fresh and wasn't the quality I was expecting. The rice was either stale or under cooked and there was an avocado stem in there. Very disappointed in this place. It's the second time I've gone here since I didn't like the first time either and now I'll never go back. Qdoba in Wonburn is a little more of a drive for us but is way more worth it. I typically really like chipotle for a quick on the run meal. It's about the only "fast food" I eat. I've been to the Burlington location multiple times with the same experience.I stopped by tonight around 6:30, there were a few people in there but it wasn't busy by any means. The food always looks dried out like it's been sitting there all day. The serving area is caked with a days worth of spills and slop all over it like no one has wiped it down all day. This location is NEVER open, not to mention most of the employees act as if the amount of food they serve gets taken out of their paycheck. Extremely stingy and almost always out of ingredients. Especially guacamole, sour cream, and lettuce. Very frustrating. They are NEVER open after 4 pm anymore and some days it appears they are closed all day for no reason. VERY frequently this occurs. I know someone who works here and it is not like they close for a good reason. The boss of this location will decide randomly not to open for the day leaving the employees frustrated with barely any hours. Do not support this location. I reccomend if you are in the Burlington area to take the ride to the Bedford location since Woburn also has been unpredictable with whether they are open. read more

Absolute trash location. They skimp out on the amount of meat/chicken and what they do give you is not cooked well. Don't bother ordering through the app because you won't save any time. Nearly every order I have made online has come back portly/incorrectly made and they never remember to add chips and sides to their orders.

I ordered through door dash and when received my order they put and entire order in a small paper bag which busted open , because you shouldn't put four bowls and a burrito in one bag and to top it off the burrito wasn't fully wrapped it was open and I ordered two orders of guacamole and chips didn't receive my chip to my order and all of the bowls were made sloppy and my fajita vegetables were way over cooked. I tried this Chipotle a few weeks ago I actually went in to the restaurant and it was trash I said let me give them another shot it's a different time a different crew maybe it won't be so sloppy and maybe this shift will care about how they prepare the food but I was way wrong. I even called and talked to an employee Briana when I placed my door dash order to see if she would be able to add additional toppings to it she said sure no problem I will have them add it. Well that didn't happen my extra cheese and extra sour cream was not added. I have been calling since my door dasher, who by the way was supposed to be Marcus but instead Marcus sends his with, brought this train wreck of a meal no answer. I'm a huge Chipotle fan, just not this location. I've gone 3 times in the last month and was extremely pissed at my food two of those times.. Who makes a salad with like, no lettuce? Legit the amount of lettuce was the amount hey put in the burrito! I'm not getting rice or a tortilla on my salad so you need to put a LITTLE more lettuce on a salad. Also, the lettuce is usually pretty gross looking which I guess people don't care about when it's going inside their burritos. CONSISTENTLY TERRIBLE! Go to Pressed or B.Good instead!!! I have been eating Chipotle for over 10 years but tonight stands out as one for the books. My girlfriend had gotten a little too buzzed to cook dinner and requested I pick up Chipotle on the way home from work. Working at the mall in Burlington, it only made sense to stop by the nearest Chipotle that's across the street. I've had post 8pm Chipotle many times before and found the quality to drop exponentially. It's hard to tell by the naked eye so I throughly expected more disappointment from the meal I would later encounter at home. I have never been more wrong about something at Chipotle ever (and I thought their first attempt at queso was going to be the dawn of a new era!) I really wish I got the guy behind the counters name to give him credit (like so much a Chipotle missed connection on Craigslist) in either case the order my girlfriend had sent me was a tough one to fill, scrolling the blue text on my phone, my thumb growing exhausted by the end of the list. I was in disbelief, this dude fit every ingredient they have minus meat and dairy into the mere mortal bowl. Then came my turn, I went with my usual burrito but feeling adventurous tonight I went double steak and added queso (which normally is a "bugaboo" in my book in fear of wet ingredient critical mass being reached resulting in the dreaded tortilla blow out) knowing that I could eat this from the comfort of my table at home I tore through all the caution signs! I was ready to give the guy an out and request a double wrap on the burrito but watched him somehow successfully close the beefy behemoth without a tear. I paid and was in and out in less than 3 minutes. Sure, sealing an over stuffed burrito is one thing in person but how could it last the 20 min. car ride and my Frogger like obstacle course walk from the parking garage to my 6th floor apartment? Mind you, in the foil, this was the biggest burrito I've ever seen, like the type of burrito that makes you think "maybe I went to far?" Or "am I disrespecting the laws of tortilla physics?". I unwrapped the burrito in aww of the fact that it was somehow still intact. The next ten minutes were somewhat a blur but at the end my fingers were clean and dry (an unheard of feat with even a standard stuffed burrito) I am beyond satisfied and impressed with this young mans talent and would absolutely recommend him for a "save the world" type role that for some reason incorporates making a flour tortilla accommodate an ungodly amount of some material. 10/10! read more

This place was disgusting! When we walked in we immediately noticed that there was food and paper on the floor. The 2 males behind the counter appeared to be annoyed that we wanted to order because they were involved in a conversation with each other and didn't want to be disturbed. The food was fine, but the tables were crusted with food and were also sticky. If the place had been clean, we would have enjoyed our lunch since we had no problem with the food. We ordered take out, got 2 bowls and a burrito. My biggest complaint on all 3 was that the portion were extremely stingy. For the amount of money I paid we did not receive, I wish I took a picture. Also it was for me and my kids who are 13&9. So they even noticed how the quantity of the portion was low, the bowl was pretty much half full and the burrito was a baby size, or kids size. Because this location supports a mobile-ordering app, they need to put in a LOT of work to keep existing customer-order streams unaffected. Currently, they are failing this in two ways: interrupting the physical line to serve app customers, and then requiring those same customers to cut in line to pay. This ends up ruining the customer experience for everyone, and it is worsened by their running out of ingredients during the lunch rush. I love Chipotle, but this place is understaffed for the addition of a "virtual line". Management needs to rethink how they set up their operations, because while the demand of the area is definitely there, they are at risk of losing customers due to wait times and bottlenecks. read more

Well like others have said this review is more about the place and service more than the food because the food was just as good as any Chipotle ive had. I dont usually come to this chipotle but i was on my way home from a long trip and decided to stop by. I ask the guy up front if i could get a burrito but if he could melt the cheese first. I know they usually add the cheese after but i like it really cheesy and melted and he said sure and was on his way to grab the cheese then a girl with short pink hair stops him and says to me "This isn't Anna's, we dont do it like that" "Obviously this isnt Anna's im not here for Anna's i want a Chipotle burrito with melted cheese....and if there was an Annas around i wouldnt even think of comming in here" Thats what i wish i said, but i didnt feel like arguing with her after my trip because she seemed the type to give me sas. I come here looking for a good meal and experience with my friends and thats ruined right away by this employee's rude comment. It wouldnt have hurt to just melt the cheese and make the customer happy and wanting to come back. Now i dont ever want to go there again if they cant do this simple request for me. Grab a quick online order here tonight for my kids. Store is very dirty, ice maker is just tossing ice into the floor, non skid mat is half folded and staff doesn't seem to care. Had to ask for cup covers at soda dispenser and they seemed irritated by request. I could hear their banter and use of foul language. They also forgot part of my order. I have only been here on the weekends, so I have not trouble with parking. I like to come here because it's easier to get in and out than the options in the mall down the street. I like the fact that they have brown rice, I like the cilantro in the rice, I like the burrito bowl, although I think the chicken is sometimes a little burnt. The atmosphere is pretty crummy, I think it could be a little warmer and a little cleaner and less "fast-food-y". The food was okay. not what I would expect from Chipolte. The shredded cheese was stuck together in a clump. the brown rice looked almost grey in color...really! My first time ordering from this location was horrid. I ordered a veggie burrito and ended up getting a half sour cream, half ice cold rice and beans abomination. They put no veggies AT ALL in the thing and the burrito was wrapped wrong so that it was literally half sour cream. Ice cold and disgusting! Liquid oozed out and the wrap was ripped in about 5 places rendering it impossible to eat. The worst part was probably how ill I got from the few bites I had. I was looking forward to chipotle now that they've got the whole "no GMO" thing going but I will never return. Whole foods makes giant burritos for like $6 and they're HOT when you get them. This review isn't really about the food -- if you know Chipotle, then you know the food. If you like it (I do) then this place is just like any other Chipotle in that regard. This review is about the location. It's in a very busy area across from the Burlington Mall, several office parks, and Lahey Clinic. As a result, it's very busy there during the weekday lunch rush (11:30 to 1:00). The line moves fairly quickly, but my biggest gripe is the parking. The lot is difficult to get in and out of, the spaces are small and cramped, and there is a very narrow one-lane bottleneck right in front of the store. I also wonder why there isn't a back entrance off of Lexington Street. It would make getting in and out of there so much easier. I usually park across the street in the Kohl's parking lot and walk over. If you can get past the parking issues, then this is a great addition to the mall area food options. read more

Whenever the wife and/or I are too lazy to cook or too hot to cook Chipotle is one of our favorite options. Healthier than the other fast food options around (I would guess even healthier than the vegetarian clover with their deep fried chickpea fritters) this is a great option for us. Super cheap too so we're not breaking the bank by being lazy during the week. I love that chipotle gives you a real cup when you ask for H2O. What can I say?
