We wanted to go here from my son's birthday, but since he works during the week and Saturdays, Sunday is our only option and they are not open Sundays. Come Mother's Day and I am not a fan of going out on the actual day, but I did remember this place. We made a Saturday reservation, picked up my son from work, and headed over here. SO WORTH IT! I thought the spot was adorable and clearly well loved by locals and their own staff. You really get the feeling that all that work there really love the place. I like the menu items are not the "usual suspects" I see at most Tapas places, which are good but sometimes you want to shake things up. We got: Bolas de queso Patatas Aioli Croquetas De Jamon Croquetas De Verduras Solomillo De Ternera y Queso Cabrales Calamares Fritos Tabla de Quesos Pisto Manchego Albondigas De Cordero Iberico Peras Borrachas Torta De Chocolate All the menu items were flavorful and enjoyable. I think my favorite was the Croquetas De Jamon, if I had to choose just one item. We also decided to get two desserts - a pear dessert which seems to be their signature dish and the chocolate tort. Wowza!!! Pinch me I must be in food heaven, but definitely in a food coma. This place never disappoints. The MOST welcoming and friendly staff that treats you like family as soon as you walk in. I enjoyed my staples for the night: Jamón Iberico, garlic Chicken; pollo al ajillo (a must), and a red sangria. The jamón is freshly cut to order with a nice drizzle of pure olive oil over top. The sangria is so refreshing with fresh fruit tasting like they just picked it themselves. The lovely bartender, Astrit, informed me the grapes are Grenache from Spain , which have a dryer, robust flavor compared to the sweeter red sangrias that make you regret your decisions the next morning and tastes better in my opinion. I'm usually more of a beer guy but this slaps! I've also had the white before and that also hits the Richter scale. Last but surely not least, the garlic chicken (pollo al Ajillo) is the best chicken I've ever had, hand to God. Spiced with everything nice and delicious oil and garlic that you deserve. Even on a first date, you'll be kissed after giving this to your significant other. This fine establishment is one of my favorites and I always am satisfied, leaving with a full belly. We made a reservation for a birthday celebration on a Saturday night. Parking was easy and free behind the restaurant at a common lot. Our server was very accommodating to our group size and our individual payments although they wouldn't do separate bills. We also appreciated that we weren't rushed to leave. Place is small and they have a lot of high top tables. If you are seated against a wall that's great otherwise your back may not appreciate the experience. Tapas time! Yes Please! Had dinner here on a whim on a cold Saturday night. As soon as we walked in we noticed the place was jammed packed. We were lucky to get seated at the last two spots at the bar since we didn't have a reservation. The bar seating was actually nice because they had a nice display of liquor to show off. The waitress/waiters were very nice. They quickly got waters for us a couple of glasses of wine. We really like Spanish wines and they had a few Tempranillo wines to choose from so that was nice. We decided to share some Tapas and we were overwhelmed with all the options. Everything looked so good! We finally decided on the sautéed mushrooms, grilled shrimp (gambas), honey eggplant which was a nice sweet surprise and roasted potatoes with a yummy sauce. We enjoyed our visit to this cute tapas bar! We were going to a movie in the area and this place popped up on the map. I'm glad we stopped in. It's a small space and at dinner time, it's packed. I suggest making a reservation if you plan to come at peak time. It's not fancy but it's good. The staff was working very hard, but for a small staff, they were pretty attentive. I had an amazing time here for Valentine's Day (celebrated day before). It's mostly high top seating and 2 tables, relatively small, but cozy. They recommend getting 3-4 tapas per person, we got 5 and a paella and it was very filling. I think my favorite was the calamari, the batter was light and I didn't feel heavy after eating it. The sauce it came with was the perfect pairing. A nice spot for date night in Woburn! Came here Saturday 8pm and we were seated right away. The decorations were very cozy, and I really enjoyed the jazzy acoustic music they were playing in the background. We got 6 dishes, but our favorites were the Chuletas De Cordero (grilled lamb chops with mint yogurt and Tximitxurri), Pisto Manchego (ratatouille), and Solomillo De Ternera y Queso Cabrales (beef tenderloin with blue cheese, caramelized onions, toasted crostini). The grilled lamb chops were wonderful but I personally wasn't a fan of the dill sauce so I'd eat it without it. The ratatouille is a must, strong tomato flavor with a wonton style chip. We are regular visitors. The food is consistently fantastic, and when we've visited on a calm and quiet day, the service is friendly and warm. Really a great place. But ... now there is a "but". They have become popular and added extra seating to their small room. We went on a busy Friday night, perhaps for the first time in recent years. The food was just as wonderful as always, but with every seat occupied, the noise was simply intolerable -- and in fact well into the "dangerous" range, as decibel measurements from my phone confirm (see photo). This is a range at which more than 20 minutes exposure can result in actual hearing loss, according to current recommendations. People were shouting to make themselves heard by their dinner companions, which of course escalates the problem for everyone, and at my table for two, we could not hold a conversation. The staff in turn could barely communicate, and were clearly stressed in a way we had not seen on any previous visit. The noise levels must be a health problem for them! I think they really need to get an acoustic engineer in and make some changes -- maybe carpeting, maybe some ceiling baffles, maybe remove a table or two. We certainly won't return on a weekend evening until they do, marvellous though the restaurant's food remains. read more

I explored this restaurant on my quest to find the best Spanish food place in the Boston greater area. As a Spaniard living here for almost a decade, I figured it was about time :) so now I'm doing the tour with friends. Food quality: 6/10 Generally all the food was ok. Some dishes (e.g. calamares, empanada, entrañas) were very tasty, while others (e.g. patatas bravas, pimientos del padrón) were not well made or low quality. Authenticity: 7/10 Most of the dishes tried to imitate Spanish recipes, which is hard to find! Most restaurants are American-Spanish fusion, this one was not. However, there were a few important points they missed. For example, pulpo a la gallega didn't have potatoes (WHAT?), and the bravas had a very weirdly cooked potatoes. Also, the sauce was not Spanish. Money value: 2/10 Here it is where Pintxos Pinchos fails miserably. My dinner was very expensive ($50 including tip and a glass of sangria). Plates are so small that they recommend 3-4 per person (which is about right), hence the high total cost. The quality of the food didn't match the price. Average score: 5/10 Generally, I thought it was a "meh" place. Somewhere to maybe go once or to show a friend, but not a place to highly recommend. Atmosphere was full of Spanish culture (flamenco music, bull painting) but that's kind of a tourist trap because our restaurants aren't like that LOL Service was nice and attentive, but I didn't like the fact that, after ordering one tapa of entrañas, we were brought two. We didn't realize at the time, we just thought it was a generously-sized tapa, but only when the bill came afterwards we knew that had been in fact, two tapas ($26 instead of $13). Deducting a star for their churro sauce - it was supposed to be a chocolate sauce, but instead of the think sauce you'd expect, I got something that was runny and tasted sour. The chicken was undercooked and tasteless and so was the rice. I know what a good paella tastes like take for example the one served at cafe baba reeba in Chicago. The paella served at pintxo was not worth the $38 nor was the quantity ( not enough for 2 people ) The chicken skewers were tasteless and so was the sourdough bread they were served on. Additionally, it is not kid friendly at all. The tables are high and there are hardly any tables that a family with kids can sit on. Absolutely not well thought out. Overall it was a below average experience. The price of anything was not worth the taste or quantity. I don't understand the great ratings given by others here. Everything here was okay at best. We arrived around 7pm on a Friday and it was pretty busy! We were a walk in and the only seating they had available was at the bar, so the expectations started high. We got the gambas al ajillo, pisto manchego, pintxo de txistorra, and beef empanadas. I didn't really like any of it. Always looking for a Spanish restaurant serving paella, an I found this place by accident. It has a small storefront, so it can be easily missed, but I was pleasantly surprised by the interior, which made the place feel cozy. However, the tables are small, and it was difficult fitting in more than a few tapas at a time, even worse when I ordered the seafood paella. However, the tapas were good, although I was a little disappointed with the paella, because the rice a bit on the dry side. The seafood was plentiful and tasty, though. They also had both red and white sangrias. The service was generally good, although towards the end, I had a definite feeling that they were anxious for us to be leaving the table. read more

Great dinner at Pintxo! For those not used to tapas it may be a different experience and could be overwhelming so start slow! Appetizers were great! Flavorful and just enough to get a taste of that dish. We had about 4 different apps ranging from veggie to some meat dishes and all were great. Had eggplant, croquetts and some lamb. Paired that with a wine and a gin. The pours were generous and both were quality drinks! Main meals were different but also very flavorful! Paella De Marisco was great! Super flavorful with great seafood. Had to ask for more bread as every morsel was worth the dive in! Also had the Pulpo a La Plancha. Octopus was cooked just right and dish had enough spice to enjoy the dish but not overpowering! Overall everything was great! Place is small and gets super crowded at the busiest times. As a result the service slows down and the kitchen gets slightly backed up. Plan on returning earlier next time and sure it will be 5 star! read more

Super cute tapas bar in Woburn where we had dessert after a great dinner in Burlington. When we arrived there weren't many tables opened so we sat at the bar. I do remember that they had the lights a bit brighter which I thought was weird for such a small and romantic place, but where we sat they were slightly dimmer. We ordered a dessert wine and 2 desserts 1. Flan 2. Bread pudding. They were good not great! Service was ok too, but at that point I was glad to check this restaurant out. I would like to come back and try it out for dinner. I think it would be really fun since the dishes looked amazing. And, not sure if they do live music or not but that would be fun too. I cannot believe that I have not written about this place before. This restaurant was recommended to me by a Spanish friend of mine. He said that this is the most authentic Spanish Tapas Restaurant and he is absolutely correct! Excellent and friendly service, great and fun atmosphere, great place to sit down and enjoy a time with your friends, including the waitstaff there that treat you like family. The owner always steps by to say hello and see how you are doing and offer up recommendations that are always spot on! Please do not go home without trying the Txistorra either mild or spicy. These are homemade traditional sausages that you will not find anywhere else in Massachusetts, we tried and cannot find. You also need to try the Grilled Octopus or Pulpo a la Parrilla, as well as the Morcipan, if you like blood sausage. We also had the Arroz Negro or Black Paella, which is made with ink squid flavors, amazing! This is not the place to try the traditional, take a risk, try new things, because the chefs are amazing and they are here to surprise you! read more
