Service was good, no complaints. Not sure what part of Mexico this chain is but the seasoning, flavor was different was not a fan of it either.

Tacos Mechados - braised short rib with pickled cabbage, avocado, cream fresca, and pico de gallo
    Jessica M.

My son and I were in the area and needed to stop for lunch. We tried Temazcal and were not disappointed. The chips came with three different dips: red salsa, green salsa sweetened with honey and agave, and puréed beans. All three were good in their own way, my favorite being the bean dip. For lunch he got Mac and cheese from the kids menu and I got the Tacos Mechados (braised short rib). Both came quickly and were good. The rice had good flavor but was a bit dry. There weren't many patrons since we came at an off time (2pm) so maybe the rice was leftover from the traditional lunch hour. I also had a house margarita which was a little disappointing. The taste was all right, but the glasses were deceivingly small and were thickly coated in salt (the salt wasn't a deal breaker since I was given a straw). Although wide like a margarita glass, they were shallow and after a few sips I was left with nothing but ice. Not a great drink considering they're $14. The waitress was awesome. She was super attentive and very sweet - she gets 5 stars for sure. Overall it was ok, my kids like Mexican restaurants and I love Mexican food. If we're in the area I'd go again but wouldn't order a drink unless it was beer.

Grilled Skirt Steak Fajita Birria tacos

Food was not good. Steak fajitas looked and tasted like dog food. Birria tacos were soggy and tasteless. The consume tasted like tomato sauce. The best part was the nice filtered water served at the beginning!

This was an ok place. The food was good after a long day of travel between flights and driving from the airport. The drinks were good but not the best we have had. Our bartender was at the bar the whole time but helping with many other things even tho the restaurant wasn't really that full. Inside the restaurant was kind of dark. Old folks like me that didn't bring readers had s as little difficulty reading the menu without using a phone to zoom in

    Tortilla Garden Salad

Ordered takeout for the first time for dinner on a weeknight. We ordered their chicken taquitos, Tortilla salad, chipotle fries, and churros. Balance came out to over $40. We ordered delivery through Uber Eats. What's hot - Takeaway packaging. Pretty good! With the exception of the salad, all the takeaway containers were paper, which is environmentally friendly. During this time of the pandemic, where so many people are ordering takeaway, it's reassuring to see restaurants take steps to being environmentally friendly. Additionally, the tortilla bowl for the salad was wrapped separately, in a paper bowl and then wrapped together in cling wrap. It all held up well for delivery. Additionally, we also received a box of tortilla chips with 2 small containers of salsa and beans. Happy to receive their complimentary items, as well. All the takeaway containers had our name written on it, which was reassuring, because it showed they were keeping track of our food and making sure we received everything we ordered. - Quality. Pretty delish. Their chipotle fries actually had a slightly spicy kick, which is what we wanted and expected. Could've been more spicy, but at least it was there. Be prepared that if you have a high tolerance, it won't meet your expectations. All their food was well-seasoned and flavorful. The cumin salad dressing was a nice kick, which added flavor to the tortilla salad bowl, as well. The churros also came with a caramel dipping sauce. - Portions. Pretty good. For example, their chicken taquitos came with their own in-house made chips sprinkled with cheese. The food was enough to get us full. - Price. Not bad value for money, especially given the quality and portions. What's not - Portions. Because the salad is all veggies, it didn't come out to a good size portion. Maybe it's because I love salad and can eat a lot of it, it didn't seem very plentiful. But be prepared. Their chicken taquitos are only 3 taquitos, which isn't a lot and not easy to share. Also be prepared that in order to get full, you'll probably need to order a few dishes. - Price. Because you'll probably be ordering multiple dishes to share and to get full, be prepared for your tab to add up quickly. For 2 people, we spent almost $50. Final Answer Not bad and would probably get food from here again.

Food was gross (tacos literally fell apart while picking them up). Service is pretty rude. Drinks are mediocre. I would avoid this place.

To my surprise, today it's back and just like original! My picture isn't great due to lightening but it's the same creamy peppery lemon sauce on a thin fried chicken. Heaven! Lots of changes on the new menu since my last visit! - pulled chicken and beef dishes - dip trios & sampler apps! - half orders of fajitas - mocktails Soo sooo happy with the changes and originals back! But this last time the staff was needlessly rude. Half our party showed up (the other half 10 mins behind). They refused to seat us until everyone was there. I didn't even argue. It wasn't until she was equally rude to my coworker that we just looked at each other and thought "what the hell is going on? What did we do wrong?" We won't be going back there anymore for the company outings. Not really missing out on much.

Come Mother's Day and I am not a fan of going out on the actual day, but I did remember this place. We made a Saturday reservation, picked up my son from work, and headed over here. SO WORTH IT! I thought the spot was adorable and clearly well loved by locals and their own staff. You really get the feeling that all that work there really love the place. I like the menu items are not the "usual suspects" I see at most Tapas places, which are good but sometimes you want to shake things up. We got: Bolas de queso Patatas Aioli Croquetas De Jamon Croquetas De Verduras Solomillo De Ternera y Queso Cabrales Calamares Fritos Tabla de Quesos Pisto Manchego Albondigas De Cordero Iberico Peras Borrachas Torta De Chocolate All the menu items were flavorful and enjoyable. I think my favorite was the Croquetas De Jamon, if I had to choose just one item. We also decided to get two desserts - a pear dessert which seems to be their signature dish and the chocolate tort. While the pear was lovely, I was really in the mood for something chocolate so I enjoyed it more (but honestly cannot go wrong with either).

The MOST welcoming and friendly staff that treats you like family as soon as you walk in. I enjoyed my staples for the night: Jamón Iberico, garlic Chicken; pollo al ajillo (a must), and a red sangria. The jamón is freshly cut to order with a nice drizzle of pure olive oil over top. The sangria is so refreshing with fresh fruit tasting like they just picked it themselves. The lovely bartender, Astrit, informed me the grapes are Grenache from Spain , which have a dryer, robust flavor compared to the sweeter red sangrias that make you regret your decisions the next morning and tastes better in my opinion. I'm usually more of a beer guy but this slaps! I've also had the white before and that also hits the Richter scale. Last but surely not least, the garlic chicken (pollo al Ajillo) is the best chicken I've ever had, hand to God. Spiced with everything nice and delicious oil and garlic that you deserve. Even on a first date, you'll be kissed after giving this to your significant other. This fine establishment is one of my favorites and I always am satisfied, leaving with a full belly. I hope the same for you!

We got seated outside and even though we were looking at a parking lot, it was nice out. The pork belly benny exceeded my expectations. The jalapeño cheddar biscuit was very tasty, pork belly was flavorful, eggs were poached perfectly and it was blanketed with just the right amount of hollandaise. My friend really enjoyed her Monster Breakfast, especially the French toast and finished the whole thing. Pickle Bloody Mary was solid and service was attentive. Stopped in at Burlington in between medical appointments and a great, quick, delicious brunch. My husband scarfed down his Rice, Rice Baby entree (Rice, black beans, fire roasted poblano corn, grilled chicken, pico de gallo, avocado crema, pickled onion, cotija, sliced avocado, Nacho Cheese Doritos® & cilantro.) It looked really good; I'm going to have to ask if they'd make a vegetarian version. The husband wondered if it could be made into a burrito. I experienced the delectable Cookie Monster Pancakes (Oreo® cookie infused pancakes stuffed with chocolate cream - topped with Oreo® cookie butter & powdered sugar.) I ate half and brought the other half home. Washed it down with some quality Peet's iced coffee. Staff was courteous and dependable. It was a little loud, as are most Toasts, because of music and chatter. Entrance is handicapped accessible, though a push-button automated door would be excellent. Staff held the door for me when I entered and exited with my mobility aid.
