I love chipotle. I usually go to the one in waldorf but I ended up at this one. The food had no taste. There was absolutely no flavor that you are used to having at chipotle. All the chipotle flavor & spices were not there at all. I are it but it wasn't good. It was like bootleg chipotle. Of course there was a long line which is expected at chipotle at dinner time but once I got to the register I realized that was the backup. There was 10+ burrito bowls lines up waiting to be rung up. They've got to get faster on the register. The servers are making the food but they are stuck waiting on the payments ahead. Anyway that wouldn't matter if it tastes good but it didn't. read more

I love Chipotle but this location is really lacking speed and customer service. I usually order online to cut down the wait and have found myself waiting for longer than if I had just walked in and braved the super long line. Add to that the time i ordered online and they gave me a steak salad and found it only had half the ingredients I ordered on it when I got home. If you have time to go to Waldorf instead. read more

This is my first review and truly, I wish it was a better one but, this has happened too many times for it to be coincidence. So, we ordered tonight online through the app and that was fine but, I find that when we do and pick it up the food is not good. Either it's too little, not what was ordered or just plain wrong. Well, tonight was an all time low! I got what I ordered but my tortilla was burnt, if u can believe that!, and there was no seasoning at all!!!! This is something I have not yet seen!!! Imagine me, hungry as I am, to taste this food and cringe. I'm sorry but, Chipotle, y'all need to do better! To all Chipotle Customer let me tell you all this I went to the Chipotle on 8913 Woodyard Road, me and my boyfriend on Feb 18, 2012 around 8:00pm. Once I walked in my friend order a bowl and I order a chicken burrito, but I once a young lady that was streaming the burrito ask me did I want rice and I said (Yes). Why did she get my rice with the spoon and then started to just smash my rice with her hands on my burrito. I looked again and she was doing this other customer. Finally, they ask what kind of meat do I want and I said "I don't want that." She put her hand on my rice smashing it down. They made another and then she did it again, and the lady that would there said she doesn't want you smashing or touching her rice, well the bitch did it again. And then another employee said I will make it. The girl, got mad because, I called her out and I told her that I could be an inspector, you would never know. Watch what you doing. You aren't supposed to be touching people food with your hands. Then she put on a plastic glove. I said to her as she was getting loud, sweetie that is my food and I am paying for it, and you can get mad all you want to I don't care but you aren't supposed to be touching the food period. Some of the employee's told her to shut up, and she just look and said nothing, they apologize to me about her, but I told them that I will be reporting this to the inspector's, and that exactly, what I did. I lived in Montgomery County, MD, the Chipotle there is very clean well manner employee's nobody touching you food with their hands, and the attitude of the employee's is great. That young girl shouldn't be working around food she is just nasty PERIOD. Once I got home the burrito was nasty as hell fell apart and everything I end up throwing it away. Clinton, MD Chipotle, it is all black folks have no training and serious behavior problems. And they don't care at all about handling of food. They should be ashamed of themselves, you never know who come in there, I do work for the Federal Government, the joke is going to be on them, they had a lot of violation, the floors was nasty and the counter top was nasty, and that girl is a MORON. I've gone here at least two dozen times since it opened - once a month or so. This is hands-down the busiest Chipotle's I've visited. Overall, the place is good so it gets 4 stars (the most I'd give any Chipotle's). The food is the same as anywhere else but the decor is lacking just a bit compared to other Chipotle's. Contrary to other reviews, I've never had problems with customer service or them getting my order correct. The line is always long and I don't fault the staff. They are moving pretty quick and sometimes the cashier is working two registers at once. The long lines are probably because there are no other fast casual restaurants in the area. A Panera Bread and Boston Market nearby would be nice to give people more fast casual options. Now when I go I use the Android app which saves about 15 minutes waiting in line. Only once have I seen a normal line of about 8 people - even at off-peak times the line has about 20 people. The place is popular but it's always been worth the wait for me. The employees can be very helpful, and the staff work very fast in preparing the food orders in a timely fashion. Take the time out and treat your family or friend to a meal at Chipotle's. i don't know why this location has a low rating, but this place is amazing. i was stationed at andrews afb for 7 weeks, and i ate here atleast twice a week (literally, sometimes more). if others are complaining about the wait, there's a long line for a reason -it's good! you can "preorder" online, then come to the register to pick it up w/o waiting in line. i've eaten chipotle all over the DC and Hampton Roads area, and this location fill their burritos and bowls! when they fill, they usually have to use two tortillas to roll the burrito, and their bowls are filled to the max, they have to squish the food down w/the lid. and they never charged extra (only when you get double meat). i always asked for a bowl, w/a tortilla on the side. that way i can fill the tortilla w/half of my bowl, and had left overs for another meal! my favorite location to date. read more

I don't know if they changed management or ownership but I'd recommend not coming here. The bathrooms are locked and an employee has to open it for you. They also have changed policy to not put napkins out. When I asked for some (my family of 5 was eating), I was handed 2 napkins. We will not be returning. read more

Chipotle really has been slipping lately. At 7:30 pm on a Thursday evening this Clinton location stopped taking online orders. I wonder if the corporate office knows that this is going on. Also the Waldorf location is saying by way of the android app that this location is closed. I know that this is completely false because my wife Is sitting at the location waiting to pickup our dinner that I'm trying to send by way of app. I had so much hope for Chipotle.......thinking that they were setting the new standard for fresh.....farm raised food and customer service. It seems that only lasts long enough for this supposedly fresh mex chain restaurant to become entrenched in our communities......driving the family owned spots out of business, and taking our hard earned dollars. I wonder if Chipotle locations in predominantly white areas are practicing the same techniques? They are even starting to sell the same ole, in humanly raised beef......full of growth hormones. Although the food is good, hence the long lines, the customer service is terrible. The majority of the employees are younger & while several people stand in line for inside orders, as well as online orders, the staff continues to horseplay & chat about personal plans for the evening or the weekend. I always feel rushed, usually to the point of accidentally picking the wrong ingredients. Also their cheese keeps mixing with guac. So for you vegans out there, do not order the guac. I must say the last few times I've visited this location the staff was rusty & rude , But last week I visited & the 1st face I came across had a Huge smile & was so kind & friendly even though I asked for extra everything she politely explained to me that it would be extra cost which I didn't mind . The reason for my review is because I know this is new staff and she was working all areas from Tortilla to salsa . You can tell they were short staffed for the day but her attitude never changed she greeted every guest after me as politely as she did me & I'm sure you'll be getting a lot more reviews since we all were very pleased by her patience . I had an overall great experience at Woodyard chipotle in Clinton since a long time . Good Job on the new hire . I asked the girl at the register for her name & had to give a great recommendation to her . She would definitely be someone I would hire for my place of business . i eat at this location often and the food is pretty descent with the exception of the long line. todays visit was disgraceful. how in the world do you not know how long rice cooks for? the rice in all 3 bowls was hard and unedible. i wasted 20 dollars on trash because thats where it went. managers: teach your employees how long to cook rice for so your customers arenet wasting their time and money. dont inconvenience your customers to this degree. most if not all of us like our food cooked done. read more
