Its not bad but I just had better. Its too greasy for corn on the cob too. So confused about that. Any who, I spent $40 for everything which was reasonable for 2 meals. I will definitely be back to try other menu items. The cashiers here are super friendly which is always appreciated because its seems like people are losing basic manners. The combo also came with a fountain drink. I decided to mix their house-made lemonade and house-made iced tea and it made the perfect half-and-half. The wait wasn't too bad, as the food was being freshly made. It was piping hot and crispy when I received it. Those shrimp were huge! Some of the biggest fried shrimp I've ever had...And not those butterfly shrimp either. Whole shrimp, and the tail was removed so I didn't have to worry about accidentally crunching on one of the shells. The catfish was delectable! Perfectly seasoned, delightfully crispy, and absolutely melted in my mouth. So good. I'm coming back for the catfish if nothing else. The wings were perfectly fried, nice and crispy, but they were a bit too light on the seasoning for my taste. And the mumbo sauce tasted too similar to barbecue sauce. I did not like that, so I ended up saving the rest of the wings until I got home to put my own mumbo sauce on them. The hush puppies were also really good. I like that they were fried perfectly and weren't greasy... Even after reheating them. Overall, my lunch cost me about $25 and it was enough food for at least two meals. Can't beat that. I ordered 2 bowls and 2 large drinks. After waiting for the lettuce to be refilled, I was served lettuce that was gritty, dirty, and appeared completely unwashed. It was so bad that I ended up throwing away an entire bowl. With all of the foodborne illness outbreaks linked to contaminated lettuce over the years, including E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria, serving dirty produce is a serious food safety concern--not just an inconvenience. To make matters worse, there were 3 employees on duty, yet the lettuce bin was allowed to run completely empty before being refilled, and none of the sodas were stocked. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this location has been out of products. As a loyal customer, I expect better. Wasting money on food that isn't fit to eat and paying for drinks when the soda station is empty is unacceptable. Management needs to address food safety, inventory management, and overall customer service at this location.

We realized that some of the staff came in early to accommodate our time because the restaurant wasn't even open for business yet. We were impressed by this. The menu was the typical Italian with calamari, bread, spaghetti, lasagna and the like dishes. As I said previously this restaurant has been in Clinton for years and the decor shows that. It's not really modern but hey maybe that's the appeal. For a slightly larger party they only took one check which was a bit of an inconvenience but we knew before hand and made adjustments.
