Food is consistently excellent! The Rasta pasta is my favorite and it is delicious! Great customer service too.

I like how they have the stations for you to order for yourself just in case you don't speak Spanish and the workers might not understand what you want. So with this option to order on the console there is no confusion. You still do have the option to order at the counter, but I believe that might only be cash. With the consoles you only use a card and the workers are really nice. I was greeted when I walked in which is a plus with today's workers sometimes act like you are invisible. So I ordered some nachos, churros, and red queso Birria tacos and when you tell me they were the truth! Some of the best Mexican food you will ever eat outside of actually going to a Mexican vendor on the streets of Mexico. There are plenty of options but let me warn you...don't be asking for sour cream, lettuce, tomato, or pico because you won't find it here. It's again AUTHENTIC and you will only get onion, cilantro, guacamole, Mexican cheese, and Serrano & jalapeño peppers, and I believe tomatoes. Simple, fresh, and delicious! 100/10 will be back and recommend!

The "new and improved" Fishmarket is one that we had tried to eat at a handful of times but it was always packed and I mean packed! Finally we were able to catch them on a not so busy day and I couldn't believe it, people were packing this place up and honestly it just turned into a big bar. The ex isn't a healthy eater so bar food and hole in the wall places are his thing. Again, this is your local neighborhood hole in the wall places. Definitely not my type of place but glad I was able to experience it. Would I come back? No, but you should try if dive bars and bar food are your thing. Food was eh!

This is very hard to believe that I've never reviewed the "old" version of the Fish Market, but…read moresince it changed ownership and completely revamped the venue, I'll review the new version! :) First, I can't believe how crowded this place is since the reopening. Parking is ALWAYS a challenge every time that I've come. Once you walk inside you realize, this is NOT the same ole Fish Market. Talk about a total gut job. Formally, the restaurant was a traditional sit down neighborhood spot. Now, it has totally transformed into a sports bar with TV's all over the place. Fish Market has in my opinion the largest bar in the DMV. It is humongous! I applaud them for knowing where the money is and that's the bar! They also have a nice number of pub tables throughout, so as far as flow goes, I like this flow better than the former Fish Market. The menu has totally changed. I must say, I liked the old one better because it was a traditional seafood restaurant with all of your favorites. Now, its wings, pizza, fried fish and a couple entrees like salmon and shrimp pasta. All and all, it's a great spot if you want a strong drink at a decent price and even though it's mostly bar food, it's pretty damn good, especially the seafood pizza... Hittin!!
